### 3/5 — Great app but not very reliable

*2025-10-07, version 1.10.2*

I loved this app until it started to tell me that it wasn’t available in my country :(. This happened once before as well, and then it came back. Both times I lost access to my saved data and didn’t get a refund. Still, I keep hoping it will come back.

### 3/5 — Great when it works

*2021-06-04, version 1.6.14*

I loved this app at first because it provided confirmation that I was feeling PVC’s when they occurred but also comforted me knowing it wasn’t more serious. I had a Holter monitor attached to me for a few days recently and received the same results but I couldn’t see it was happening on screen at the time I felt my heart flutter. I’ve had terrible health anxiety all year from my heart acting up. Unfortunately the app lately hasn’t detected enough signal to get a reading very often, and my internet is showing a perfect signal with high speeds so there’s no reason for it not to work. When there’s a signal at first but it keeps dropping throughout my reading it stresses me out more cause I feel like I’m messing something up (anxiety I know, but I want this app to comfort that with a reading). If that could approve I would say this app is perfect for what I need.

### 2/5 — Says I have Conspicuous findings multiple times, but I don’t???

*2020-12-02, version 1.6.13*

25 F. I’ve had health anxiety this whole year so I have been super hyper aware of my heart etc. After multiple EKG’s, a stress test, and a few other tests that my cardiologist went through to give me a peace of mind, all came back clear and normal. Well this app, not once but on several occasions told me I had bad rhythm and when I would repeat it, it said it was normal....

### 3/5 — Doesn’t work the best

*2020-08-26, version 1.6.11*

Couldn’t get it to properly read until I stuck it to my jugular.

### 2/5 — Frustrating

*2020-05-13, version 1.6.8*

I purchased a one month subscription. It was working fine the first week. Trouble is when I go to use it now the signal is always not good. I find it very hard to use with an iPhone Xs even though it says it works with it.

### 3/5 — Scares me

*2020-04-20, version 1.6.8*

The application is great and it tell me majority of the time that my heart rate and rhythm is normal. Twice already though, with impaired quality signal it tried to tell me I had atrial fibrillation but once I do it again it says normal rhythm. I get a little scared because my mom has afib and i have anxiety so I’m constantly checking my heart rate. Idk why it does that but it freaks me out.

### 3/5 — It’s okay.

*2019-12-31, version 1.6.8*

It seems to work pretty well for your heart rate. It even picks up some PVCs that I have. But this app has told me 3 times now that I am in AFIB and I am not in afib. I was using this app while actively wearing a heart monitor. This app had shown I was in AFIB so I called the heart monitor company and they confirmed that there was no AFIB episode happening at the same moment this app said that it was... that nothing was even happening that would have been out of the ordinary.

### 2/5 — Wish it could do accurate pqrst.

*2019-12-05, version 1.6.8*

I like your app a lot and it really helps me to see when I am in bradycardia or arrhythmia. I especially like the fact that I can do a 1 minute or 5 minute reading as my problems are intermittent. Unfortunately my doctors refuse to accept or acknowledge the reports as they don’t show the normal ekg wave forms (p,q,r,s,t) that cardiologists and EPs look at every day. My Dr just advised me to get the Kardia app so that I can share accurate information with him.

### 4/5 — Very helpful app

*2018-10-10, version 1.6.6*

As with any app claims, I was sceptical, but I started having what I describe as chest flutters and this app accurately recorded it. I sent a copy to both my GP and cardiologist to show what I’ve been experiencing. As a result, a 2 week monitor was ordered. I didn’t rate as five stars because I think the app needs more choices or an additional field regarding activity at the time of symptoms e.g. exercising, eating, resting, etc. As someone not as familiar with different types of irregular beats, it would be nice to have a more detailed description of what each type of beat means.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Free version seems like a scam

*2021-11-14, version 1.6.15*

I have the Apple Watch six which has provided me with many textbook normal ECC ratings over the last year or so. I decided to try this free version just for fun. It kept giving me indeterminate readings with no information and suggested I upgrade to the pro version. I deleted the app.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2021-10-28, version 1.6.15*

I get a good signal, it measures fine, then says it can’t provide any info. It says “problems occurred during communication with the server (no session token found).” Then to try again (tried five times, same message) or contact account help, which I can’t find. So…essentially useless.

### 1/5 — Signal strength

*2021-08-30, version 1.6.15*

You’d have a better luck checking your heart rate and drawing the doc a picture of what you think is going on with your heart than you’ll ever have maintaining a signal with this app.

Wasted money.

### 1/5 — Does not work on iPhone 12 Pro

*2021-06-13, version 1.6.14*

I have had the app for quite some time. However, when I up graded my device? The additional cameras do not work with the app.

### 1/5 — Telecare report -STAY AWAY total rip-off

*2021-03-23, version 1.6.13*

I had some arrhythmia’s detected in my heart rate, so I paid an extra $28 to have it evaluated by telecare specialist. The report has zero extra medical info provided. It just restated what is already on the report after heart rate measurement is completed. What a waste of my money, I paid $5/month for the 5 min advanced heart measurement already. What a horrible way to make customers think they are actually getting valuable medical advice. I paid $28 for a report that literally had no extra advice or info, for nothing.

### 1/5 — AFIB and pacemaker

*2020-06-23, version 1.6.11*

This program told me my Mother was in regular rhythm when she was in a paced rhythm in AFIB.

### 1/5 — Waste of money!!

*2019-12-03, version 1.6.8*

Do not use this app unless you want to be scared out of your mind and waste money. I have been using this app since Oct 15 I have had times when I have been in “absolute Arrhythmia suspicion of AFIB” so the test showed. I sent one of the test to their telecare that didn’t show any disruption on my test but telecare said there was so they couldn’t get a good reading. Then I sent them 5 test which cost me $32.99 to do and supposedly all but one didn’t have any disruptions. They didn’t analyze 4 of them because of to much disruption during the test but it didn’t show the disruption on my test. So now I’m out of $32.99 plus the cost of the app which I got for peace of mind and it has only freaked me out and wasted my money. This is a complete joke. The 4 test I wanted answers on because it said I was in AFIB which my cardiologist has never found out of 8 ekgs, stress test, echocardiogram, and wearing a holter monitor for 7 days. This app now tells me I’m in AFIB but when you pay to have it analyzed you won’t get any answers. They will tell you there was to much disruption even tho it doesn’t show the disruption on your side. So how do you know if any of the test are accurate when it looks good on your side but they say they can’t read them. Total scam if you ask me so buyer beware if you don’t want the crap scared out of you don’t purchase this app!!!

### 1/5 — Does not work on iPhone 8 Plus

*2017-11-20, version 1.5*

Flash doesn’t come on, no reading at all. Fix this and I will change my review.

### 2/5 — Can’t buy the full version

*2021-12-15, version 1.6.15*

Maybe this app is great but when I try to buy the full version it says I have to have an icloud account. I have an iCloud account and have bought other apps just fine. I can’t find anyway to contact you inside the app so I am hoping for a response here

### 2/5 — Can’t get back into my account

*2021-12-02, version 1.6.15*

I would rate the app higher but it logged me out of my account days ago and I can’t get back in with correct username and password. No way to contact customer service about the issue and I paid for premium

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Helps check my heart

*2021-02-03, version 1.6.13*

I use this to monitor my heartbeat and it works very well you can save the report to show your doctor so they can see what is going on

### 5/5 — It works

*2020-02-01, version 1.6.8*

My pulse seemed off so I downloaded this app to see why. It said I was in AFIb which I did not believe and once I went to the ER they confirmed the results that I was indeed in AFIb.

### 5/5 — Affective for AFIB

*2019-11-16, version 1.6.8*

I have AFIB and have found this very helpful. I can monitor both the beats and the rate.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-08-15, version 1.6.6*

I was very skeptical at first to try this app because I didn’t think it would be accurate but it was very accurate. My heart flutters that I felt it also picked them up and I printed this paper to take to my doctor as well. The only thing I was confused about is if it was A fib and not just a flutter can it tell the difference?

### 5/5 — Finally see what I feel

*2019-07-14, version 1.6.6*

Last few days I have been noticing extra beats or a flutter in my chest. Ran multiple reports with numerous irregular beats. I ran my wife’s report as a test to confirm her report as good. I got to the point where I could close my eyes and when I felt it happen I could look up and see it on the screen. Very interesting. I have not yet discussed it with my cardiologist but glad to have it documented to show him.

### 5/5 — So valuable!

*2018-08-26, version 1.6.5*

I recently underwent a cardiac ablation for atrial fibrillation and my cardiologist suggested this app. It has routinely provided a sense of comfort that I am still in sinus rhythm as there is great possibility of going back into A-fib. Several weeks ago I had an episode of very rapid heartbeats and was able to record it and send the report to my doctor. I am very appreciative of this app and its developers!

### 5/5 — Works great for PACs and PVCs

*2018-07-02, version 1.6.3*

If you feel like your having skipped beats or random thumps in your heart rate this is good app to start on to maybe ask your doctor more questions. Picked up a lot of mine.

### 5/5 — Great for piece of mind

*2018-06-09, version 1.6.3*

I’m in the early stages of diagnosis and have felt so relieved to be able to visualize (and get backup) for what I’m feeling. When I have an episode I can’t tell if it’s irregular and it’s so hard to describe. This app gives me PDFs I can share with my doctor - thank you so much!!!

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2018-01-05, version 1.6.0*

I’ve had this app for about a year and have found it incredibly reassuring and helpful. I have a family history of heart issues and I get a lot of chest discomfort from GERD so whenever I feel something funny in my chest my anxiety shoots up making the problem worse. This app has been a very helpful tool as a quick prescreening device. I’ve even used it with my Mom and sister-in-law. I like that it doesn’t require any additional attachments so I can check my heart quickly anywhere anytime I’m feeling concerned.

### 4/5 — Has worked great up until today

*2018-10-26, version 1.6.6*

Love this app as it gives me piece of mind that I’m in a normal sinus rhythm; however, not sure if there’s an issue with their server, but all day it has given me an error that it’s having problems communicating with the server. It’s not my internet and I tried it at work as well. Hope it gets fixed soon!
