Can’t seem to do basic things like simple editing and cropping pics for the grid any more, and the interface is so much more confusing to use. Real shame, I hope they change it back or fix a lot of the basic features ### 2/5 — Disappointed update 😒 *2026-08-06, version 4.1.0* Preview has been my # 1 app for planning Instagram content for years but I absolutely hate the latest update. I'm happy it didn't disrupt the current layout that I already set but it's so glitchy and doesn't even work half the time. Also, I absolutelyyyy HATE the way the carousel posts work now! The dimensions when trying to crop is a nightmare. I’ve been using this app for years and haven’t had any issues with it until recently. Cropping photos is annoying and very difficult now, I have to crop all of my photos in my camera roll before importing them to the app. ### 2/5 — Latest updates ruined the experience for me ( *2026-07-29* I mean it was quite simple and friendly, but the actual update is just too complicated. Pleas bring back functionality to replace the photo after pressing edit > view photo > replace photo why? I may have hundreds of photos and rather than uploading a new one and doing A LOT of scrolling to drag it down / finding the pic within grid to swap. I can add to an exact square I want via replica > camera roll which is so much easier! ### 2/5 — Horrible update *2026-07-19, version 4.1.0* The update is horrible, I can’t touch the picture anymore just to look at it without it having to load the editing feature. When I crop it just auto crops and doesn’t let me adjust the crop. And with the update I’ve accidentally deleted posts because where I’m used to clicking the switch photo button, now 50% of the time I accidentally hit delete instead because of the new positions of those buttons.
