Price and Stock is the official Open Box Panama app to quickly and easily check prices in our product catalog. WHAT IT DOES Designed for Open Box customers, Price and Stock lets you scan barcodes or QR codes of products directly from your iPhone or iPad and see the price instantly — including discounts when they apply. KEY FEATURES • Barcode and QR code scanner with device camera • Regular price and sale price lookup • Visual discount indicator • Manual code entry if camera is unavailable • Bluetooth external reader support • Automatic catalog sync SIMPLE ACTIVATION The first time you open the app, enter your phone number. If you are a registered Open Box customer, access activates immediately. If not, you can request activation via a form or call us directly from the app. STORE MODE The app includes a special "Store Mode" for iPads set up inside our locations, where any present customer can check prices without restrictions. Ideal for physical stores. FOR OPEN BOX STAFF Authorized employees can access with their username and password the admin panel from the same app, to view complete inventory information and upload product photos. FOR iPAD IN-STORE (KIOSK) • Dedicated iPad layout with large, finger-friendly buttons. • Numeric on-screen keypad that NEVER closes when an external scanner (USB or Bluetooth) is connected. • Auto-timer: the iPad returns to the scanner if no product is searched in 15 seconds, and back to the home screen if no scan happens either. • More stable external scanner: it no longer interrupts the customer typing their phone. FOR STAFF • Camera / External Scanner toggle on Price Check and Photo Upload screens. • On-screen keyboard appears automatically when a Bluetooth/USB scanner is connected to the iPhone, so staff can log in and type codes without issue. • Photo upload with a confirmation sound when finished. SCANNER AND EXPERIENCE • Camera scanner reads 1D barcodes (not just QR) with a wider rectangular reticle. • Confirmation sounds: discount found, error, success, sign-out, photo upload complete. PRIVACY AND SECURITY • Dedicated, isolated API endpoint for this app with hardened JWT audience, app-key gating, and per-phone rate limiting. • In-app account deletion flow (compliant with Apple Guideline 5.1.1). • General performance, stability and privacy improvements.
