But, what I sincerely disagreed,/disliked was when I called customer service, they said they couldn’t help me and I thank God for what happened next, (btw I was panicking because I was already boarding my plane and needed a car ASAP when I arrive to my destination.)so when I arrived I went straight to the rental car place where I had my reservation and they were saying they were unable to make the switch to their side, but as I panicked a bit, they told me they were understanding and they were able to override and change it to their location 😥😇🤗🙏Thank God!!! And they were so pleasant and a life saver and everything was smooth after that incident. But other than that moment, I haven’t had any problems with Priceline. I love that they have a wide variety of options and cheaper/affordable prices and options!!!! ### 3/5 — Owner Operation Changes Not Customer Friendly *2026-08-28, version 36.3* I have used Priceline for years to plan and book trips . The new owner operations, appears to use an additional party to manage bookings. So as I have called for inquiries and or simple adjustments to bookings. There secondary numbers to be called that don't work. The assistant can't reach the vendors and don't (didn't) follow up on inquiries with you (me). I particularly was out of the country (three -3 counties ) and the hold times, call hang ups, cost me also. Priceline should relinquish the name and control if they are not directly booking and managing. Priceline’s quote was $297. WhenI made the booking, the price was $340. I have stayed at the hotel before, but it seems I did not get that discount. Very misleading! ### 1/5 — Took my money and never refunded. Read below *2026-08-29, version 36.3* We had trip to Oregon and rented a car. Flight was late and I had purchased the trip insurance. When we arrived at airport, all car rentals were open but our rep was gone missing. We called Priceline and they cheated us. Gave us money back for insurance and did not give money for the rental. Loss of $300+. We rented through a different company. Shane on them for stealing my hard earned money. I have proof of what I am talking about. We called many times and they never returned a penny. We’re very happy to use Priceline for a booking of a hotel for one night. Unfortunately my husband came down with a medical emergency as soon as possible I called Priceline and I called the hotel to inform them that we were not going To make the trip Priceline uses another booking company. I got multiple cities and my first flight did not happened my daughter has 5 months and 28 date and her passport will be expire they did not allow us to travel and when I called them to solve the issue and keep on time the other flight while I renew my daughter passport with expedite service . I had this App for may year and internet provider disconnected providing email to it’s customer. So as result I’m stuck in LaLa land unable to update my information. ### 1/5 — Do better by booking direct *2026-08-20, version 36.2* I booked an entire two week vacation using Priceline. The app was struggling every step of the way. More importantly I needed to make a flight change, which Priceline was charging a fee higher than booking a whole new flight. They blamed the airline, I called the airline they said if I booked directly with them there would only be a small change fee, but since I booked with Priceline they could not help and this crazy fee would have to be applied. I booked a flight for my son i bought the ins that i thought covered canceling flights if something come up well we had a horrible flood considered a national disaster and they would not cancel or let us put on hold . Our town was flooded all exit ways from town were closed no way to get to airport and they would do nothing we lost 450-500 dollars and priceline would do nothing since i booked through them the airline said i had to go through them .
