There was no option to log in as an existing customer. And the help desk is only open 8-5 M-F, and today’s Saturday... I tried deleting and reinstalling the app twice, same screen appeared when I opened it. So I only got 2 gallons of gas, and I’ll stop somewhere else where my discount works! Very frustrating!!!! ### 1/5 — Thieves *2021-01-09, version 3.2* They switches their system and deleted $10 in rewards I had built up. Since the last update, I have to turn off wifi to use the app. Even your employees hate this. Do better people. ### 1/5 — Existing Customers Can’t Access Own Account in New Version *2020-12-17, version 3.1* What is the reason to release this version update 3.1 that does not have the option to allow existing customers from accessing their own accounts? Who does quality control at Pride? Do they have an ability to rollback to the previous version that worked? Or can they allow customers to get the last working version? ### 1/5 — Thieves *2020-12-06, version 3.0* I was told that if I had my phone App that I would not lose my points. Only if you had a card. I had over $100.00 on the app four points and now they are all gone. That is messed up. I’ve been a great customer for years and this is how Pride takes care of there customers. ### 1/5 — Worst Customer Service EVER *2020-12-04, version 3.0* I had good luck with the app until they launched their new “Pride Star” version at which time my account could no longer be located. I tried calling the help desk but they could not locate my account either. I decided to call customer service for the sponsoring card service, Zipline. I answered all the security questions including my drivers license number, my phone number, date of birth, address and email address and the last 4 digits of my SS # but the only security question on file (my mothers maiden name) had a different answer on file than my mothers maiden name and I’m pretty sure I know her maiden name!!! Apparently, I put an incorrect answer down when I opened this account five years ago. Here’s the part where customer service offered me anything BUT service, I can not get into my current account and I can’t open a new one because all my correct information is tied to that account and I can’t deactivate that account either, they offered no resolution. So, they have all my information including my bank routing and account number and I can’t use the app anymore. I pretty much exclusively purchased all my gas at Pride, probably about $1,400/year. I guess Pride does not care about their customers because no one would like to help me resolve this issue with their savings app which simply does not work. I will buy my gas anywhere else but Pride from now on. Your customer is service horrible. I would give this app 0 stars but you have to give it at least one to write a review. ### 1/5 — Not worth the headache *2020-06-16, version 2.1.5* Set up Pride Pay. First use was going fine (correct pump, I authorized it, chose gas) until the cashier declined the transaction... the convenience is the app’s only feature and it couldn’t even do that. Less of a headache to just swipe rewards card, etc. ### 1/5 — Bad app *2020-03-05, version 2.1.4* Tried to set up personal info to get savings and after all info was given then it sends me to check my email to finish install. Did so and then email asks for pride card number when I do not have a pride card. So could not get savings. Think it’s a scam so personal info is given. I’m good already contacted my lawyer just in case there is a future issue. Don’t apply for this app or you do not know where your info is going. Not worth the $0.10 cents savings. ### 1/5 — New Account *2019-12-04, version 2.1.1* Not able to create new account even after giving proper combination of characters in password. ### 1/5 — Deserve zero star *2019-10-16, version 2.0* Sign up is complicated and lengthy. App location doesn’t work $.10 off doesn’t work. Pump still charge regular price Payment doesn’t work. Pump stopped after $.44 Go to Cumberland. Their app is simple and it works every time. ### 1/5 — Annoying & misrepresent *2019-04-08, version 1.0* Sign at gas tank says get app & save $.10 per gallon ... nope! Downloaded the app and entered TONS of info to sign up for rewards and paid for gas through the app and DID NOT SAVE. Called the number to complain and the customer service was soooooo unhelpful & not nice & was told have to WAIT 24 HOURS to save money - THE SIGN DIDN’T SAY THAT! ### 1/5 — Can’t even set it up without crashing.., *2018-08-10, version 1.0* Each time. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Would give zero stars if I could *2023-02-26, version 3.5.1* This is the worst app to set up especially if you get a new phone and share with family. Keeps popping up that account isn’t found. Try to hit “contact us” and it opens a blank page that never loads. Been being told for years this would get resolved and it only gets worse. I will go to Cumby’s, Costco and BJ’s instead because this just isn’t worth it anymore when I can’t even contact them without having to do a google search 🤦🏻‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Rarely works *2022-12-30, version 3.5.1* Leaves you standing at the pump entering pin over and over and over. Never works without several tries ### 1/5 — No way to log out *2022-08-10, version 3.5.1* This app need a reboot. There is no way to log out of it. For example, both my husband and I spoke about getting the app and sharing it. However, we both signed up and now have no way to log out and login using the one account we intended on using. I deleted the app and going back to Shell, no Pride for me! ### 1/5 — Can’t log out! *2022-02-01, version 3.5.1* Add the functionality to log out and sign in to the right account! ### 1/5 — Misleading *2021-09-09, version 3.4.2* You only get the 10c discount if you sign up for the debit card. Signs at the station imply you get that discount for registering on the app and that the debit card is an additional 10c off a gallon. Wasted my time downloading and registering only to not receive the discount anyways. Half the coupons are bogus cause they’ll be sold out of whatever thing they are promoting. Points earned came in handy many times over the years. Now? Not so much. Then I thought I would have to go back to using the card feature. Tried it once more the next day and it looks like it works ### 3/5 — App good, setup a nightmare! *2021-03-24, version 3.3* Overall the reward program and saving $0.10/gal on gas is great, but there are major flaws with initial account setup and basic app functionality. For example, once you’re signed in, that’s it, no going back (even if you uninstall and reinstall app), so if you have issues and want to logout, you can’t, there’s no way to logout on the app. Also if you have a SmartPay account from Cumberland Farms, you will run into issues if you use the same bank account information because they use the same payment vendor. We had to call customer service and it was a big headache to finally get everything setup and ready to use.
