### 5/5 — Rather difficult for an Obese Man, but I welcome the challenge!

*2026-05-03, version 1.10.1*

I was able to complete the first block with mods. However, Block B was too much. Will get stronger and revisit this review!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-04-30, version 1.10.1*

It’s the first app that has made me want to consistently want to work out. The workouts are pretty intuitive to follow at home.

### 5/5 — Pridefit more than working out

I love Pridefit for the great workouts and easy tutorials, and really love the fitness community building for queer folks.

### 5/5 — Real Progress

*2026-02-28, version 1.9.0*

I have tried multiple fitness apps, but this is the only one where I have made progress physically. Love this app and how it makes the working out easy and accessible.

### 5/5 — I love this app!

*2026-02-24, version 1.9.0*

This app, especially the live classes, have been so fun and motivating for me to get back into working out. The workouts are fun and effective. The coaches are all bright and helpful. I can be nervous as a trans person in workout spaces, but having a dedicated LGBTQ space has felt so comfortable. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

### 5/5 — Great app for your fitness journey

*2026-02-21, version 1.9.0*

I love this fitness app. The simplicity of the design makes it easy to jump right into the workouts without feeling overwhelmed. I especially appreciate the ability to connect with others, it has a real sense of community and motivation. The real time feedback during live classes is a game changer for me, helping me stay accountable and improve my form instantly. It’s engaging, intuitive, and generally makes working out something to look forward to every day.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend!

*2026-02-14, version 1.9.0*

I have been using the Pridefit app for almost two months now, and have been finding the information and structure extremely helpful. There are a lot of options to help you achieve your fitness goals, and I find the coaches very accessible of you need extra support. I highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great Experience

### 5/5 — Love this app so far

*2026-01-29, version 1.8.2*

Just what I’ve been looking for. Both the workouts and platform are great. Team is super responsive and helpful (and made of real people). Love that I can use it both at home and in the gym. Excited to continue!

### 5/5 — All-around great

*2026-01-14, version 1.8.2*

Great content, great app, great interactions, great response time, great vibe. You should do it.

### 5/5 — Amazing app.

*2026-01-09, version 1.8.2*

I truly love this app. Well organized. Aesthetically beautiful. No bugs! Great content.

### 5/5 — Workout

*2026-01-05, version 1.8.2*

I am writing this after going to the gym for the first time in about 3+ years. I am a runner at heart but knew I needed to get some more strength training in and I can say after the first workout I already feel better about the direction I’m headed in. The workout was easy to follow with the visual, and the ability to swipe through after every rep. (it’s also very satisfying to hear the bell ring after every rep.) Look forward to many more workouts and staying on a consistent schedule with the program I’ve opted into.

### 5/5 — Great holistic fitness app

*2026-01-05, version 1.8.2*

Community, encouragement, pride

### 5/5 — An AMAZING App!

*2025-12-30, version 1.8.2*

I’m just getting started and I can already feel the difference. As a queer individual having a space like this is incomparable!

### 5/5 — It’s Perfect For Finally Meeting Your Goals

*2025-12-25*

I’ve been wanting to get fit for a long time & have always been intimidated by weightlifting. I decided to download & try this out after seeing ads on FB and it’s been great. Really like the personalized touch with the onboarding call & the fact that I can get tips & feedback for form with weights since I’m 100% a beginner with them. And help with figuring out nutrition goals!! They look at both aspects, nutrition and exercise. Speaking as a beginner, it’s the perfect app for folks in our community who are looking to make the jump to fit.

Coming into Week 5 and the 15lb dumbbells feel light to me when I was starting with 5 lb my first week. & can benchpress 50lbs (including the 20lb bar lol.) May seem like not a lot, but for someone who was struggling to lift a single 20lb dumbbell in the beginning, it’s like a new world. Posted a pic on FB after 1 month & got so many reactions being like “I see your fitness program is actually working this time.” 😄 Actually feel like I’m going to finally meet my fitness goals!!!

### 5/5 — lo amo i love it

*2025-12-11, version 1.8.0*

its amazing work outs with good explanation

### 5/5 — Just Do It!

*2025-12-05, version 1.8.0*

This program has completely transformed my relationship with fitness! Everything from Sam to the coaches, the app, the routines are all focused on motivating and developing your entire fitness routine in a space that is highly welcoming and approachable to the queer community (and anyone that responds better to the girlies in the gym than the “bro” culture). Something as simple as seeing queer coaches lead your workouts, the general vibes of the app, the reminders and motivation from your coach and Sam are all communicated in a way to remind you this IS for you and you belong in the weight room with everyone else. Their approach is not to restrict your entire fun life, not to feel bad about slip ups, to always do as much as you can while also providing a community to help you do more than you think you can. The workouts range from traditional gym routines to at home work. The app is packed with one-off workouts, recipes, and tons or other resources.
10/10 will continue using Pridefit and highly encourage you to try it!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst customer service ever

*2025-10-15, version 1.7.0*

This company gives the gay community a bad name. They continue to charge me for a canceled membership AND do not answer communications from myself or the credit card company. Next step is the Better Business Bureau. Avoid this company at all costs!

### 1/5 — Nonexistent support; can’t even get past step 1

*2025-05-02, version 1.4.7*

I did the onboarding Zoom with Sam and was really hyped up to try the app and engage with a trainer and the community, but the survey wouldn’t even submit for me and it has been a week now since I emailed their support about it with no response. Seems like a dud, which is a shame, because the glowing reviews made it seem like a really great experience. I can’t access the trainer or community until I submit the survey, and the survey doesn’t work, with no support response. I’ve requested Apple for a refund as I can’t access any of the features my subscription paid for.

### 2/5 — Need to Pay

*2026-01-01, version 1.8.2*

I wanted to hard to use this app to help my health and fitness, and I thought it would feel more comfortable with LGBTQ+ coaches, but you have to pay $35 a month just to get started in the app, before you can even start. The 7-day free trial doesn’t mean anything if you have to pay $35 a month to use the same resources you can get on other apps for free.

### 3/5 — Needs work hard to use for non fitness folks

*2025-08-18, version 1.5.5*

Love this concept but the execution is lacking. 1st no appleTV app and can’t cast to a TV so you have to constantly look at your phone. Trialed the 1st home workout and thinking it should be for beginners but nope- no direction on how to do the exercise or guidance just timing so your constantly looking at your phone. Love that it has nutrition support and a community but didn’t get into that as I couldn’t get past the workouts.
I wish them the best and if they add my suggestions- appleTV app/way to cast to a TV, and actual guidance on the exercises. Then I will be back to try again.

### 3/5 — Too expensive

*2024-11-17, version 1.3.7*

$35 per month is too expensive for what you get. The video collection is minimal and doesn’t provide enough variety for the price paid. The community isn’t robust enough to be a selling point for the price.

### 3/5 — Love the program, but kinda buggy?

*2024-03-19, version 1.2.0*

I love the workout programs and I follow them religiously. My only issue is that if I exit out of the app even for a minute it will restart the app and I’ll have to restart the workout sessions? If that makes any sense? Like, it doesn’t stay out at the workout I was on when I exit out of the app. Not sure if that’s an issue on my end or not.

### 5/5 — Amazing app!!

*2026-08-15, version 1.12.3*

I love using Pridefit. I've been on it about two years and it's honestly transformed me into the healthiest version of me I've ever been at close to 40!

### 5/5 — A Fitness App that meets you where you’re at

*2026-08-10, version 1.12.3*

This app and the PrideFit community is excellent resource for people who are both just getting started on their fitness journey or those who might already be regulars at the gym and are looking for a way to reboot their fitness plan. Sam Leicht does an EXCELLENT job of meeting you where you’re at, whether it be a beginner or advanced, home workout or gym workout, etc. The app includes plenty of videos to help demonstrate good form, resources for straight forward and sensical nutritional advice, a means of tracking accountability, and a whole community of other users for support. I whole heartedly recommend this fitness plan to anyone who is looking for guidance on their health and wellness.

### 5/5 — 10/10!!!

*2026-08-10, version 1.12.3*

Never felt better with my decision in choosing a fitness app as a gay man!!! You will not regret it!!!

### 5/5 — Personalized fitness with a kind community

*2026-08-10, version 1.12.3*

Pridefit makes working out feel personal, approachable, and genuinely supportive. My Personal Program is tailored to my goals, fitness level, schedule, and the equipment I have at my house. What really sets Pridefit apart form the other things I’ve done is the community. It’s a fitness space where i feel encouraged and never judged.

If you want a personalized workouts, real accountability, and a kind fitness community, I do think the app is worth it.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A Great Community

*2026-08-05, version 1.12.3*

This is more than just an app. It's a community to support your health and fitness goals. Having a dedicated coach and custom programming is a game-changer. And they are constantly working on improvements and upgrades to give you even more value within your membership. If you have ever been intimidated by fitness or feel like you need more accountability for your fitness journey, look no further!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-07-16, version 1.12.2*

I love the amount of different workout options there are in this app. Community support and coach support is great. Really enjoy the community!

### 5/5 — Great workout sessions

*2026-07-14, version 1.12.2*

I’ve tried many other workout apps, Pridefit stands out. Not only you get a video call orientation when you sign up but also great workouts that are effective and get you sweaty every time .

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-06-15, version 1.11.0*

Really good app to work out
Lots of options between on demand workouts, training programs and boot camps.
Dedicated coaches you can interact with.
Good community
Definitely recommend you give it a try

### 5/5 — Life Changing Fitness Club

*2026-06-10, version 1.11.0*

Hands down the best fitness app and club I have ever tried! I have done other workout programs, which were good also, but PrideFit takes the cake. The sense of LGBTQ+ community, personal messaging with your coach, and the creator, the community boards, the live classes are amazing! So much extra motivation that we all need, there is no other app like it, with results you will see! Join us!

### 5/5 — A workout program with actual human interaction

*2026-05-11, version 1.10.1*

Beyond amazing (and accessible) workouts, PrideFit comes with the PrideFit Community, which inquires an actual person as your coach, recipes, and a community of other members to both hold yourself accountable, as well as motivate you to keep going. It’s really these other touches that puts PrideFit a step above other apps. I also appreciate that it doesn’t start you at 1000 miles an hour, instead trying to build small habits to encourage its members to work for the long game, rather than a quick spurt before burning out.
