# PriM - Private Music — Private music. Offline. Yours > Private music. Offline. Yours (iPhone/iPad app by Nguyen Vu.) - Source: https://appshunter.io/ios/app/prim-private-music/id6763902397 (this page in markdown: same URL + `.md`) - Developer: [Nguyen Vu](https://appshunter.io/developer/1798043979) - Category: Music, Entertainment - Price: Free with in-app purchases - Age rating: 4+ - Requires: iOS 17.0 · 50 MB - Languages: American English, Vietnamese - Released: 2026-04-28 - Data updated: 2026-10-24 ## What is PriM? Your music, only yours. Mupl is a private music player for MP3, FLAC, M4A, and WAV files you already own — ripped CDs, Bandcamp purchases, files saved from your desktop. Mupl has no streaming catalog. We don't sell you the right to listen — we help you listen to your own collection, beautifully and privately. LOCAL-FIRST Every track lives on your iPhone. Plays offline, no Wi-Fi, no buffering. Open the app and music starts — no three-second loading screen like streaming services. END-TO-END ENCRYPTED SYNC Upload from web (mupl.notadi.app) or iPhone. Mupl encrypts metadata on your device before pushing to the server. The server sees ciphertext only — it can't read your titles, artists, or playlists. Switching to a new iPhone? Sign in once — your library syncs back automatically. NO ADS. NO TRACKING. No mid-track ads. No listening behavior analytics sold to anyone. No "you might like" based on demographic data. Mupl doesn't profit from your attention — only from Pro subscriptions if you need more cloud storage. WHAT TO LISTEN TO TODAY Each morning Mupl suggests moods that match the moment: deep focus work, weekend coffee, running, quiet night. Suggestions are computed from audio features in your files — no listening history is sent to the server. GREAT IN THE BACKGROUND Control Center, lockscreen controls, AirPods touch, Siri Shortcuts integration. Stable background playback — leave it running overnight, it won't get killed. EXPORT ANYTIME Files in the iPhone sandbox are the original MP3/FLAC, no DRM. Copy them via Files.app, AirDrop to Mac, or upload to Google Drive — no vendor lock-in. PRIVACY Metadata is end-to-end encrypted. Your master key is derived from a passphrase, on your device only — Mupl never stores it, can't reset it. Lose the passphrase and your cloud library can't be decrypted (local files on iPhone still work). That's the real trade-off of zero-knowledge. Thanks for using Mupl. Your music, only yours ### 1.2 — 2026-04-30 KARAOKE LYRICS • Lyrics scroll with the music — current line highlighted in gold. No external app needed. • Timing mode: if lyrics drift, tap the correct line at the right moment — Mupl auto-adjusts timing for the whole track. The more taps, the more accurate. • Automatic timing approximation for plain text lyrics (no timestamps) — get karaoke for any track. • Syncs across devices: calibrate on iPhone, web companion sees the same. NEW NOW PLAYING DESIGN • Vinyl record spins with the music. • Big editorial title, cream gradient layout. • Interactive progress bar — tap to seek anywhere. • Glassmorphism play button — see the artwork through it. • "Up next" indicator clearly visible below. WEB COMPANION • Auto-search lyrics via LRClib when editing track metadata on the web — no more copy-paste from Google. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS • Multiple bug fixes. Thank you for using Mupl. ## Apps similar to PriM | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Album Ally](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/album-ally/id6752643513) | — | Free | Music | | [moodflOw - music](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/moodflow-music/id6772628723) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Music | | [Djent](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/djent/id6768067082) | 5.0 (1) | Free | Music | | [Music Diary: Song List Notes](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/music-diary-song-list-notes/id6772138621) | — | Free | Music | | [1ClickDj](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/1clickdj/id6762590937) | — | Free | Music | | [Lyrazik: Your Music Locker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/lyrazik-your-music-locker/id6796253412) | 4.0 (1) | Free | Music | ## More apps by Nguyen Vu - [Clevai Parents](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/clevai-parents/id6742370108) - [JoyClass](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/joyclass/id6748949005) - [Notadi - Save Places You Love](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/notadi-save-places-you-love/id6757571194) All apps by Nguyen Vu: https://appshunter.io/developer/1798043979 ## Related topics [vu player pro](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/vu-player-pro) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
