### 5/5 — Illness

*2025-12-23, version 10.17.3*

The Dr was very professional and a great listener. I relayed my symptoms, told her I just tested positive for Covid. Rx was ordered and instructed to hold my trazadone while taking paxlovid. Great experience especially when you are sick.

### 5/5 — Greg

*2025-12-22, version 10.17.3*

Very easy and fast thanks

### 5/5 — Great service

*2025-12-06*

I appreciate being able to get help when I need it. I first checked for an appointment with my primary care doctor and had to wait 6 weeks - not ok when you need help right away.
In person is not always necessary and the on demand service worked great for me. I just needed a sinus prescription from past history.

### 5/5 — 5 Star Quick, Helpful and Accurate Diagnosis and Treatment! Thank you!

*2025-11-17, version 10.5.5*

The entire visit was excellent and seamless after I was kindly reminded to enter my insurance information. Both Daphnie G and Saffiyah K helped the process go smoothly. Dr. Ghaffar was knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful. His careful attention to my concerns about my eye infection were all addressed. I received the proper treatment with the antibiotic drops prescription immediately sent to my preferred pharmacy.

Importantly, 24 hours later I already see improvement with decreased redness, pain, and swelling of my infected left eye. I am so grateful for everyone’s excellent attention to my care and the ease of access I could obtain from the comfort of my own home with only a very minimal wait time. Thanks very much for this service. I am proud to be both a prior Mayo employee and a current Mayo patient.

Sincerely,
TJV, MD

### 5/5 — Convenient way to be seen when you need medical attention!

*2025-11-15*

The doctors at Mayo our excellent. Very knowledgeable and this process was convenient I didn't have to drive four hours to see somebody in Rochester. There's a reason why Mayo is an award-winning hospital/clinic!

### 5/5 — Asthma flare

*2025-10-17*

I have random asthma flares and I know what I need to do. Having the online option was amazing for a first line of defense, without the wait at urgent care or getting unnecessary tests done. Will definitely do this again!

### 4/5 — Had little difficulty

*2025-09-20, version 9.2.3*

Connecting I could see and hear provider could not hear but could see. Spent 30 minutes connecting with provider.

### 5/5 — Easy and Convenient

*2025-07-27*

I was able to connect with a Dr in less than 20 minutes. The visit lasted maybe 3 minutes. All from the comfort of my home! I love this!

### 5/5 — On Demand App

*2025-07-24, version 4.214.2*

This was my first time using this app and i really like it. My Dr was so friendly and concerned about my care and follow ups.

### 5/5 — Very pleased with my first use of Mayo On Demand.

*2025-06-24, version 4.214.2*

The doctor was very thorough and very pleasant to deal with. My issue seems to be improving after following his advice. Thank you!

### 4/5 — Survey

*2025-06-12, version 4.214.2*

The survey option are limited to great or didn’t like. That provides limited feedback. Great what? What didn’t you like? How about a comment section with the ability to edit.

### 5/5 — Fast care

*2025-06-09, version 4.214.2*

This app was very user friendly and I was able to talk to a doctor right away. It was so easy..

### 5/5 — Great Visit, super easy

*2025-05-24, version 4.214.2*

### 5/5 — Mayo Clinic is simply the best

*2025-05-19*

I’ve spent considerable time and money with Mayo Clinic in the last few years, both in-person for surgeries, etc. and virtual tele-health visits like the one I had today with Primary Care OD. Worked flawlessly [think Zoom/Teams call from your phone straight with a doctor] and would definitely use again. Mayo consistently goes above and beyond in the treatment and care for its patients, and you genuinely can feel it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unhelpful

*2026-08-03*

The AI freezes and then the appointment time comes and it won’t work because you didn’t finish the AI assessment that didn’t work. I can’t see an in person doctor because they keep sending me to this online garbage when they can’t even check what I need looked at via the phone without buying my own equipment. I don’t want to buy my own equipment that’s why I see a doctor.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-07-11*

Doctor was unable to actually do anything and provided no more guidance beyond what I already knew from personally reading articles on the internet. Initially I thought it was awesome how fast I could be seen, but in hindsight I could have skipped the appointment altogether and have paid less, been more informed on my own, and not lost an hour of sleep waiting for my appointment. What is the point of this service if the best outcome is to need to go in person to get any sort of results anyway? If you have a need where you truly need to see a doctor you’re going to just delay going to urgent care or the ER with this. Why not start where you can actually get help?

### 1/5 — Basic functionality missing - kids can only be linked to one adult account.

*2026-02-02*

It’s 2026 and children still typically have two biologic parents. You might assume that two parents might be able to link their shared children to their own account, but you would be wrong. This would be annoying in the context of a single household but is positively infuriating when the parents don’t cohabitate. Absolutely unacceptable half baked garbage in my opinion.

### 1/5 — I’m part of a pilot with a virtual PCP - nothing but a headache!

*2025-12-30*

I was assigned to a pilot to have a virtual primary care provider. This has turned into a real nightmare. Bad idea. i’ve been trying for four days just to set an appointment and they keep telling me i’m not allowed to schedule an appointment to see a doctor in person, because I need to see a virtual provider first. However, I have a chronic lung issue and I need a doctor to listen to my lungs in person. I have been sick for a week and a half and trying for the last four days just to make an appointment with Mayo Clinic. how would they listen to my lung online? The schedulers (who are very nice on the phone) commiserate with me and say they run into this all the time. They do not like this pilot either.

But they just keep saying I can’t have an appointment to see a doctor in person. So I finally tried this primary care on demand app to get an appointment on demand. I clicked on an “immediate” appointment and it said unavailable. so then I clicked on “schedule.” The first virtual appointment was the next day in the evening. so much for on demand. This does not meet my needs at all. just let me see a regular doctor in person. Is that too much to ask of Mayo Clinic?

### 1/5 — App locks up

*2025-04-11, version 4.214.2*

App freezes when entering symptoms, useless

### 1/5 — Can’t get on with voiceover

*2025-03-28, version 4.214.2*

I can’t get onto the app with VoiceOver. I’ve tried at least four times and that’s not cool that it works for visual people, but not people who need a screen reader such as VoiceOver.

### 1/5 — Two thumbs way down

*2025-01-12, version 4.205.1*

I received a message in the Mayo Portal specifically for my 2-yr old to get this app… and this app doesn’t provide services (allow you to make appointments) for children under age 3.

I have no idea what this is supposed to be other than a duplicate of the Portal but one that works for fewer
patients.

I did try to be fair by looking at the some of the menu items in this app and it just says, “refer back to your Mayo Patient Portal.”

### 2/5 — Frustrated

*2025-09-18, version 9.1.5*

Appointment started 30 min after the start time. No update that they were behind. I was ready to exit the appointment and give up.

### 2/5 — Needs local options

*2025-03-15, version 4.213.1*

It would be great if the options for lab draws, etc were local. Or if all info could interface with the Mayo Clinic patient portal.

### 3/5 — New

*2025-09-16*

Filling out the questions prior to the visit was difficult. I had to choose the answers provided - many of which didn’t address my real answers. I made a mistake on one question and there was no way to fix it. Now I have to wonder if the answer I chose will be a part of my record and is completely wrong and didn’t fit at all with my issue being addressed.
The physician himself was easy to talk to and easy to work with- thank goodness he didn’t ask me about my non issue!
At least he was human which was a concern of mine.
AI has to start somewhere but please listen to your reviews to get it right!
