### 4/5 — Game is great but…

*2026-08-10*

Now like the title says it’s great defo one of the best mobile political sim games I have played. However the problem with the game is what most reviewers are saying. There is an issue with recurring prompts that have already been settled. Which played into why I stopped playing the game I just felt like after a little bit it gets a little repetitive. I saw the update you made regarding the wars I’ll pick it up again now. But each term I’d play the peace maker and the next term they have kicked off again. I will defo return to the game soon after a few more updates. But yeah the game is great for 2-4 terms then I just think it gets a bit repetitive. However really great work game is easy to navigate not too distracting and fun.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review, i am fixing continuity bugs and expanding the content with every update as they come from certain game states with so many interlocking engines. thank you for playing

### 4/5 — Very fun

*2026-08-08*

Very fun game, however I will say that I wish that it was more than 8 weeks free, but the whole experience was good enough to get me to buy it.

**Developer response:** thank you or the review

### 4/5 — Very Good Game- I think it will end up being great

*2026-07-26*

I really enjoy this game. I’ve bought all the in-app purchases, and it has been fun to play. There are a few things I wish the game had. First, the Cabinet needs to be a bigger source of content. You should be able to confer with individual ministers, and there should be a little bit more intrigue. So far, it seems like things work best for me when I pick one cabinet and never reshuffle. I think it would be more fun if you needed to move people back and forth more. The economics could also be improved; there just need to be more policy options available. I wish there were more ways to interact with your parliamentary party. I know that I have hostile MP’s but I have yet to find a way to bring them back onside. I would appreciate if there was more strategy involved in the elections. Maybe picking some campaign staff, raising funds, choosing candidates etc would add some more detail to that part of the game. The international stuff is great, but it could use some more detail. It’s been many years in my sim but none of the wars have ended, and very little has shifted internationally. I would love there to be a little bit more content from foreign policy. Ultimately, this game is a lot of fun, but I think implementing some of these ideas, or similar, more thoughtful ideas, would really make this game elite.

### 5/5 — Best political sim on the App Store

*2026-07-23*

Absolutely addicted to this game. Been playing 1 week and I love the complexities in this and every aspect needs monitoring. Can’t break past 3 terms so still trying 😂

Improvements are all things that I am sure will come with updates. A more complex global stage and international dialogue would be great. Trying to remain as leader after a lost election or even a mode where once you lose you switch to your replacement and fight to get back into government. Only thing I don’t like is that when I lose the worlds lost I really want to develop and win lol

**Developer response:** Thank you this is really appreciated, and "can't break past 3 terms" is exactly where I want a political sim to sit: hard enough that surviving feels earned. You'll get there.

Your improvement ideas are sharp, and two of them are things I'm actively thinking about. A deeper global stage and richer international dialogue is high on the list, the world leaders and diplomacy have been getting steadily more complex, and there's more coming. And the "fight your way back after losing" idea is one I love: switching to your replacement and clawing back into government, or hanging on as leader after a defeat, is a mode with real potential. No promises on timing, but it's exactly the kind of direction I want the game to go.

On losing the world when you lose, I hear you completely, and that "I just want to keep developing and win" pull is the best possible problem to have. It means the game's got its hooks in. Thank you for playing, and for taking the time to write this.

### 5/5 — Great game but one issue…

*2026-07-20*

First things first… BEST POLITICAL SIM EVER! I was trying to find a game like this but never could and this really filled a hole in my heart over a really good politics game. It’s fully immersive and really fun. However I think having to pay £7 for the full game is a bit of a stretch and I think it would be fine if it was just to access certain, more in-depth features that aren’t needed to play the game to maximum potential, but to play longer than just 8 in-game weeks is something you need to think long and hard about. But regardless of that, great game but just a shame of the price tag (and if that’s going to get lowered or removed any time soon)
but even just the first 8 weeks are enough to get you hooked.

**Developer response:** Thank you that's a lovely thing to read, and I'm glad it filled the gap. There aren't enough games like this, which is largely why I made it.

On the price, it's a fair thing to raise and I'd rather answer honestly than dodge it. The game is made by one person, there are no ads and no subscription, and the £6.99 is a single payment that unlocks the full game, not episodes, not a season pass, and nothing that expires. That payment is what funds the game continuing to improve, and it's had a lot of updates since launch with more coming.

The eight weeks are meant to do exactly what you described: enough to know whether it's for you before spending anything. I'd rather that than a thin demo that doesn't show you the real thing.

I don't have plans to change the price at the moment, but I'm glad you raised it and I am listening. Thanks again for the review — it means a lot.

### 5/5 — Unbelievable game

*2026-07-20*

What an unbelievable game this is, the depth in to politics is next level! One thing I would like to see which I think would be a great addition (forgive me if you can already do this because I’m not that deep in to the game yet) is the ability to expand your military, build barracks, naval bases & air bases, mobilise troops, ships & air force. so as-well as politics you look after your military too and get ready for conflicts, also having the ability to send troops/ships/planes somewhere, so for example in the real world when Starmer sent planes and HMS queen Elizabeth to Cyprus as protection in the USA/Iran conflict. Having the ability to do things like this & control your military and have a more conflict side of things would take this game to the absolute next level, but 10/10 game!!

**Developer response:** Thank you that's a brilliant review to wake up to.

On your question: there is a foreign policy and conflict layer, and it opens up the deeper you get. Conflicts emerge, you decide how to respond, and those choices feed back into the economy and your standing at home. So you'll get some of what you're describing, though not the part where you're building bases and moving individual ships.

Full military asset management is a bigger build than it sounds but it's the most interesting request I've had in a while, and I've written it down. Thanks for taking the time.

### 5/5 — Favorite game right now

*2026-07-16*

This quickly became my favorite phone game. Very well built out, and minus a couple bugs it is very well put together. Please please please keep developing this. If i could make a request, I’d vote for building out the world diplomacy more, everything in country seems pretty spot on at the moment.

**Developer response:** Thank you that really means a lot.
Diplomacy is exactly where the work has gone. The latest update builds the conflict system out considerably: wars now unfold as a run of Foreign Office briefings rather than one-off events, the decisions you take get remembered and cited back at you later, and allied leaders will ring you about them. Five regions, not just one. Worth updating for.
And I'd really like to know which bugs. Settings → Report a Problem,I fix everything that gets reported, and a batch went out in this update that came straight from reviews like yours.

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-07-14*

Amazing sim! Got to 5th term in 1st proper play through! Currently on my second play through with a harder difficulty and still loving it!

I have a question though, how do I meaningfully improve import dependency on energy? My renewables is at over 80% and I’ve implemented many of the energy infrastructure projects but my import % keep growing and growing. Nothing other than prompts to spend £bns reduces back to 50%. If I’m producing over 80% of my energy from renewables how am I importing almost 60% of my requirements? Is this a bug?

Thanks

**Developer response:** Thanks and you've found something i needed to fix.
The climbing import dependency was a bug. The oil-price and import-dependency models were coupled the wrong way round, so a decarbonised economy perversely drove both upward exactly what you're seeing. It's fixed in the latest update, so grabbing that should stop the runaway.
The 80% / 60% isn't a bug, though it absolutely looks like one. Renewables is your share of electricity generation; import dependency covers all energy gas for heating, fuel for transport, industrial energy. Electricity is only about a fifth of the total, so the two genuinely don't add up. That's how it works in reality too, which is no help at all when the screen puts the numbers next to each other and doesn't say so. That part's on me and will be made clearer in a future update.
Imports come down through energy-security levers North Sea licences, LNG and storage, grid investment rather than the renewable share. Post-fix a green economy should settle around the low 30s rather than climbing.
Genuinely appreciate the detail in that question. Fifth term on a first playthrough is some going.

### 4/5 — Mobile Political Gem

*2026-07-14*

Hello, I wanted to type up this review because I’ve been enjoying this game after purchasing it in full for $8.99.

This game has forced me to think before acting. Each bill has positives and negatives to certain voter groups and has lasting effects that will bring those groups approval up or down.

As an American, part of the fun has been learning UK Politics.

The ability to interact with other world leaders and organizations is very fun, it allows for a lot of replay-ability. This game is a gem for political mobile sims. I would like to see a steam version, with other playable nations being available. Maybe as a pack or DLC, I’d pay for it.

I must point out though that I don’t agree with Christians being for migration. From my lens, they want the migration invasion to end, so I was confused as to why in game they advocate for the opposite.

Thank you for making this game, I will be waiting for more updates, God bless you.

**Developer response:** Thank you, this is a lovely review and I'm really glad the bills are landing the way they're meant to. The lasting effects on voter groups is the bit I most wanted people to feel, so it's good to hear it's working.

On the Christian voter bloc, that's not a bug, it's a genuine difference between UK and US politics, and it catches a lot of people out. The major churches here have been consistently pro-refugee and pro-migration in public campaigning for decades. The Church of England, the Catholic Church in England and Wales and the Quakers have all lobbied on that side, and the last Archbishop of Canterbury was one of the most prominent critics of the government's asylum policy. British church leadership tends to line up quite differently from American religious politics on this one, so the game is reflecting the real bloc rather than the one you'd expect.

That's exactly the sort of thing I hope people pick up from playing, so it's nice that it prompted the question.

Steam is something I want to do I'm holding off until the mobile game is as deep as I want it first. Other nations come up a lot and I'm thinking about it, though the UK focus is deliberate for now; the detail is what makes it work.

Thanks for taking the time to write this.

### 5/5 — Best politics sim ever!

*2026-07-13*

Brilliant game, absolutely loved it! Played 6 terms and enjoyed every minute. The live election broadcast is such a great feature. I loved how it even changed once I removed first past the post!

One suggestion - I’d love a version where you can start as the opposition and try to win the election first. And the option to try and win it back after you lose, instead of the game just ending.

Overall, brilliant game! Need you to create one for the US - I’m yet to find a decent president game!

**Developer response:** This absolutely made my day, thank you! Six terms is brilliant going. And you spotted one of my favourite touches, the live broadcast adapting when you change the voting system was a real labour of love, so it means a lot that it landed. Starting as the opposition and fighting your way in, plus continuing after a loss rather than game-over, are both fantastic ideas I'd genuinely love to build. A US version comes up a lot too... noted! Thank you for playing.

### 5/5 — Fantastic game

*2026-07-10*

Love this game and I end up passing many hours a week away on this. Only issue I have is the repetitiveness of “tension” in specific conflicts that offers a stance for the player to take with seemingly no real outcome. It also doesn’t seem to matter if I choose “blue helmets” or a diplomatic approach to ending conflicts I still get the same message a few weeks later. (I understand it takes time for these things IRL so the game may well reflect that)

I hope this makes sense.

Otherwise I’ve never spent time deep diving into a game as much as I have this. Genuinely, thank you.

**Developer response:** Danny thank you, this genuinely made my day. First, the practical bit: the repetition you're seeing, and blue helmets vs diplomacy leading to the same message, was partly a real bug where conflicts weren't resolving properly, so the same prompt kept coming back. That's fixed in the next update your choices will carry through and you won't get the same tension prompt on a loop.
But you've put your finger on something bigger, and it's exactly the direction I'm now building toward: conflicts should feel alive. Your Foreign Secretary briefing you on what's actually unfolding on the ground strikes, sabotage, escalations leaders calling and pointing to those events as the reason they need your help, and your involvement having real consequences back home. So every decision leads somewhere you can see, instead of a stance you pick and wait on. You've basically described the feature I want to build, which tells me you're reading the game exactly the way I hope people do.
Never spent this long deep-diving a game that's the best thing I could read today. Thank you, Aaron.

### 5/5 — What a game!

*2026-07-09*

This is probably one of the most addictive games I’ve played in a long time, in short it’s incredible if your interested in politics in the country I highly recommend it as it’s got a real feel to it.

Couple of things I would say is that it looks very similar to another game that recently came out and I can assume that it’s AI generative in areas such as the opposition responses could be wrong. Other issue I have is that after bills pass there is constant questions of next steps but I don’t understand if this is just normal political talk in game or if there is follow up actions I just can’t see.

Thoroughly enjoyable game and I can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of it

**Developer response:** Thank you — this means a lot. That real feel is exactly what I'm going for, so hearing it lands makes my day. For the record, this is my own original work and it was the first UK politics simulator in this style on the App Store. I built it and I've been updating it constantly since launch on 1st May,
On the questions after bills pass: that's mostly the political fallout playing out the press, your MPs and the public all reacting to what you've just done rather than hidden actions you're missing. Some do open up follow-on decisions, others are the world responding to your choices. If it ever feels like there's a step you can't find, tell me the bill and I'll point you to it. You can get in touch through "Report an issue" in settings anytime. Lots more still to come. Thanks for playing, and for taking the time to write this .

### 5/5 — Best election/leader game

*2026-07-09*

Honestly this is the best game I’ve played and most realistic game to be a leader and run for election I’ve played it every day although something’s I wish to see in further updates is more options in world such as war, tarrifs, and for speed make it more easy to lower/ manage and I think it would be a great idea to set different type of goverment or make ur own party and have to go around the and pls make it that we can mange tax more better and we can type in a exact amount like 19.3% instead of 19 or 20% except from that also
yes the mp update is gonna be so good except from that 10/10 game

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the review.

"Everything causes something" is exactly what I was going for. Decisions that stick, and come back for you later. It's the hardest part of the game to build and the easiest to miss, so it means a lot that you noticed.

Do grab the latest update if you haven't there's a fix in it worth having.

More to come.

### 4/5 — Great game, but a few improvements would make it even better for visually impaired players

*2026-07-09*

Firstly, I’d like to say that I really enjoy your game. As someone who loves politics and has always been interested in the idea of becoming Prime Minister, this is exactly the kind of game I’ve been looking for.

However, as a visually impaired player, there are a few accessibility improvements I’d love to see added.

The first would be a standard font size, as some of the text can be quite difficult to read. An option to adjust the font size would also be a great addition and would make the game much more accessible for a wider range of players.

Finally, I’d love to see an option for all in-game text and content to be read aloud. There is a lot of reading involved, and I think this could become a really fun feature if it included different voices for different characters — such as MPs during PMQs, the Chief Whip, foreign leaders, and other political figures.

Adding these features would honestly make the game even more enjoyable for me and would probably make me way more addicted to it. Being able to fully experience the political world you’ve created in a more accessible way would make it even harder to put down.

Overall, this is a fantastic game with a lot of potential. Keep up the great work, and I’m excited to see what you add in the future!

**Developer response:** Thank you — this is exactly the kind of feedback I want, and I'm glad the game's scratching the PM itch for you.
The text-size point is well made, and you're not the only one to raise legibility, I want to add a proper adjustable font-size option and make the default more readable, and that's now near the top of my list. Fuller screen-reader support so the game reads aloud is something I'll build toward too. The dream version you describe different voices for MPs, the Chief Whip, foreign leaders is a big piece of work, but it's a lovely idea and I've written it down properly rather than letting it drift.
Making the game playable for as many people as possible matters to me. Thanks for taking the time to lay this out so clearly it genuinely helps me prioritise.

### 5/5 — My favourite game

*2026-07-08*

I am absolutely obsessed with this game! I haven’t stopped playing it since I downloaded it, it’s really really good. One thing is when you abolish a tax, it still shows as adjustable in the next budget, and I have found doesn’t really affect approval ratings, which you think it would massively. Other than that this is really really good, thankyou! Maybe a suggestion, it would be interesting if you could run as leader of the opposition and get into power, or when you lose an election maybe try to get back into power next term? Just feel like that will give it the full round :)

**Developer response:** Thank you and that tax report is a proper find.

You're right on both counts, and I think they're the same bug. If abolishing a tax still leaves it adjustable in the next budget, the abolition isn't being written through properly which would also explain why approval barely moves. It should move a lot. I'm looking into it now.

That's exactly the kind of report I can act on: specific, reproducible, and it points straight at the mechanism. Thank you.

On opposition you're the third person to ask for it, and it's the thing I'm building towards. Losing shouldn't end the game. Opposition benches, opposing bills, rebuilding your party, clawing your way back to government. That's where the game is going but I want to get this side of the game completed first.

No date, because I'd rather get it right. But you've described exactly what I want it to be.

Aaron

### 5/5 — Great mobile political simulator.

*2026-07-08*

This game is a work of art. It combines the elements of British Political Life in a format that is very enjoyable for many people. My biggest concern is the £6.99 for the full game. I understand from reading other reviews about you being a single member working on this project, but I hope as the game grows and expands. The fee can be dropped to something reasonable and maybe look into other ways of generating some revenue from the game. Great game!

**Developer response:** Thank you "a work of art" is a very generous thing to read.

On the price, let me be straight with you about the trade I've made. There are no ads in this game, and there never will be. No subscription. No energy timers. No paying to win a vote. You buy it once, you own it, and every update since has been free, including a large one this week.

That's what the £6.99 is. It's the whole game, once, from someone with no other way of funding it. The alternative ways of generating revenue you're pointing at are mostly ads and subscriptions, and I'd rather charge you honestly than harvest your attention.

You can also play a decent stretch of a term before deciding, long enough to know whether it's for you.

I'll keep building it either way. Thanks for playing.

Aaron

### 5/5 — Good game but hoping for improvements

*2026-07-06*

The game is great - I’m just hoping the PMQs questions reflect what’s happening like in the world and conflicts - there’s constant questions about the NHS even though I have them at the lowest levels according to the stats - and with ethnic minorities and the north it’s near impossible to impress them also in elections I have like 20+ point leads after campaigning but I lose or have a hung parliament I’m not sure if that’s a bug or not? - I was also hoping we can trade with countries like Russia and Iran etc - make more choices on the international scale like the UN - and see flash scandals and the government comes to a halt as result of it until we address it

**Developer response:** Thanks Khayyam, really glad you're enjoying it! Good news several of these are in the update I'm rolling out next: PMQs now shows which specific metric an attack is about (NHS attacks key off waiting lists/A&E/staffing, not funding), what moves tougher groups like ethnic-minority voters, and how vote share turns into seats (a big lead can still be a hung parliament under FPTP it just wasn't shown clearly before). And more international choices trade partners, UN-style decisions plus scandals that force a response are exactly where I'm taking it. Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. Aaron

### 5/5 — Great game

*2026-07-04*

This is honestly the best simulator game I’ve ever played on a phone. The depth of everything is crazy I love it. Only a few things I’ve struggled to get my head around one key factor that impacts me every time I’ve got to make a budget

Not sure if when making your budget are all temp/permanent revenues (policy impacts or trade deals) and losses from projects etc factored into your headroom at the bottom?

Knowing now this mechanic works would honestly be my one major gripe with the game (apart from how hard it is to do more than 2 terms 😡😂)

**Developer response:** Thank you that genuinely means a lot, and I'm really glad the depth is landing the way it's meant to.

Great question, and you've actually put your finger on something I want to make clearer. The figure at the bottom of the budget is a "this budget" figure: it shows the net annual effect of the changes you make in that budget, your tax-rate moves and departmental spending, versus where you started. It's the swing from your decisions, not your total position.

So, to answer directly: it does not re-fold in the things already running in the background ongoing policy costs, trade-deal income, project running costs, or economic drift like growth and inflation. Those live in your overall fiscal position, which the game shows separately (the "Fiscal headroom" surplus figure above the levers, and your deficit on the country-stats screen) and it's that fuller position, not the budget swing, that your budget is actually judged against.

Honestly, the fact that this needed explaining tells me the label is doing you a disservice — "headroom" reads like it should be your all-in room, when it's really the effect of this budget alone. I'm going to make that clearer on the screen so you can see both the swing from your choices and your overall position at a glance. Really useful thank you for flagging it so precisely.

And the "more than 2 terms" struggle is noted and taken to heart. Thank you for playing so closely, and for taking the time to write this.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I paid for the full game but after I restarted it said to pay again

*2026-05-30*

The game itself is brilliant was really enjoying it but when I had been voted out and wanted to start again and had made it to 8 weeks it said my free trail had finished and is asking me to pay again. Really hope the developer can sort this out as it has just stolen my money

**Developer response:** Hi — I'm Aaron, the developer. Genuinely sorry about this, and you're right: that's a real bug, not the design. Nothing was stolen it just required you to restore your purchase in settings. What was happening: when you lost your first game and tapped "New game", the app was incorrectly resetting your paid status alongside the game state, which is why the freemium prompt re-appeared at week 8 of your second run. It absolutely shouldn't have, and that's on me. A fix has just gone out as an over-the-air update — no need to reinstall. Close the app fully (swipe up in the multitasking view), then reopen it; the update will apply automatically and your full game will be
restored. You won't be charged again. If for any reason your purchase doesn't restore, please head to Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Apple keeps a record of your purchase against your Apple ID so it'll come back across any future reinstall too.
If you'd prefer a refund, you can request one directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com they handle App Store refunds and they're usually quick about it. Thank you for the kind words about the game itself, and especially for taking the time to flag this. It helps me catch what testing missed. If you have a moment to update the review once the fix lands for you,
I'd really appreciate it — but no pressure either way.
Aaron, Innovate Apps

### 1/5 — Forced to pay to play

*2026-05-30, version 1.5*

Good game but after 8 weeks you must pay.

### 2/5 — Overpriced and biased

*2026-08-25*

Well considered and interesting, but the ideological bias and consequent contradictions make it incredibly frustrating. I was also pretty annoyed to have paid after a short term only to discover that I shouldn’t have bothered as the game becomes incredibly repetitive. Every interaction becomes entirely formulaic, and this makes the vast majority of the game feel tedious after a while. More importantly, the endless restrictions make it impossible to have any real fun. Some key observations:

-The neoliberal right wing orthodoxy is pervasive. Very few left wing MPs have high competence, and it is ostensibly impossible to make substantial economic changes.
-An excess surplus is called incoherent and harder to pass while the country is operating a massive deficit - 🤦‍♂️.
-Tax rates are massively restricted compared to spending options.
-Legislation options skew heavily in support of right wing Labour/lib Dem propositions. The impacts of legislation are incredibly skewed and inaccurate too.
-Small things such as references to PLP when playing as the greens - why not just put party, which would always work?
-Factional proportions are entirely built to a Labour Party orthodoxy too.
-There are too many things that there are no real options to influence other than very weakly and indirectly. There are also many things where you simply have to wait for an event option that is invariably limited.
-Too many metrics seem to have an excessive impact but are completely opaque.

Ultimately, it was fun for one play through, but it’s too repetitive, limited and biased to justify the rather excessive price.

**Developer response:** I will investigate and address all of the points you have made in future updates. Thank you for leaving such a detailed review and thanks for playing.

### 3/5 — An excellent political game with some caveats.

*2026-07-12*

Great concept but needs some fixes before its true potential. This is one of the best political sims I have encountered but it really needs some more polish. There are too many repeating events and events that reference decisions I didn’t make. Some consequences are not clear as in one instance I made a budget with a surplus but then lost investor confidence as it supposedly widened the deficit by 40 billion despite it saying I would have a surplus that year. Events to do with the whip and cabinet also need more choices and I wish there was more party management. I will update this review as the game develops.

**Developer response:** Really appreciate this, it's exactly the kind of feedback that helps. You've hit on things I'm actively working on: the repeating events and events referencing decisions you didn't make are being fixed in the next update. The budget consequence you mention (surplus shown, then a deficit hit) sounds like a display/reconciliation bug rather than a hidden cost, and I'll dig into it. More whip, cabinet and party management depth is very much on the roadmap too. You can submit any bugs you come across in Settings this will get them resolved even quicker. Thanks for saying you'll update as it develops, that means a lot.

### 3/5 — Ok, good, but deeply disappointed

*2026-06-26*

I loved the game!!! However, I wish there were more help/assistance directors from an advisor to explain what some of the things mean for international players. Also, I was deeply disappointed that I had to play to continue the game after like 5 weeks.

**Developer response:** Thanks for this and I'm glad you loved the game, even with the frustrations. Two really useful points. On the help side: The is a 'How to play' section in More and expanding it is my top priority right now. I'm building out a lot more in-game explanation of how things work, and your point about international players is well taken, since a lot of the Westminster detail isn't obvious if you didn't grow up with it. That's coming.
On paying to continue I hear you. I'm a solo developer and the game's a one-time unlock with no ads and no subscription: the first eight weeks are meant to be a proper free trial so you can see if it's for you before deciding. I know hitting that point is never welcome, but it's what keeps the game ad-free and lets me keep building it. I appreciate you giving it an honest go either way. Aaron

### 3/5 — SPAD

*2026-06-22, version 1.8*

We need more use for the SPAD

### 3/5 — I love it but its so hard

*2026-06-18, version 1.8*

Title says it all

### 3/5 — Interesting start but a long way to go

*2026-06-11*

This game is quite addictive but it is also incredibly frustrating. There are a number of issues which need fixing. Despite your actions as PM, the game thinks you are Keir Starmer IRL, even though I played as the conservatives. It holds you to account for things you haven’t done and criticises you for policies which are the opposite to those you have enacted. Despite significant economic growth, the only way the budget changes is if you increase taxes, no extra funding becomes available so it’s just a game of working with the same income every year. PMQs and the press conferences are a hassle as the questions aren’t specific to any policies, or the answers provided refer to other policies or policies enacted by the IRL government. Despite playing as the tories, the election system thought I was Labour, saying that my safe seats were York and Exeter, which just isn’t right. Lots of potential but it needs a bit of an overhaul.

**Developer response:** Hi Middy, thanks for taking the time to write this up it's very useful and you've spotted some real issues. You're right on all counts. The identity bug (the game treating you as the IRL PM regardless of which party you lead) is the root of a lot of what you've described it's bleeding into PMQs, press conferences, and the election system, which is why you're getting questions and safe seats that don't match your actual playthrough. That's a priority fix.
The budget point is also fair: economic growth should open up fiscal headroom rather than leaving you working with the same income each year, and right now it doesn't reflect that properly.
I've already started work on these. PMQs and press questions being tied to your actual enacted policies (rather than generic or real-world ones) is part of the same overhaul. Can't give you an exact date yet, but these are at the top of the list rather than parked.
Really appreciate the detail reviews like this make the game better. If you're up for it, feel free to update your thoughts once the next update lands.

### 3/5 — Good starter, needs a lot of work

*2026-06-01*

Great work. Needs a few changes
- Updates for the LLM AI chatbot. It’s far too repetitive, gets things wrong 1/3 of the time, eg: Responses to journalists aimed at LOTO, inaccurate LOTO questions, Repeating policy decision and choices. The LLM AI chatbot is far too lazy and needs improving
- More accuracy. A term is 4-5 years, an election should not be occurring 2 years into the save.
- Greater control over the PLP, meeting with hostile MP’s as a counterweight to the new leadership coup mechanic.
- Vic3 level economic and political pathways. Custom design and/or existing ideology pathways for a government to follow and achieve.
- More detailed relationship mechanics
It’s a great starter but there’s far too much emphasis on crude AI LLM’s. Fix that and you then have a great game

**Developer response:** Thanks! this is the kind of feedback that's actually useful.

On the 2-year election cycle: that's a deliberate design choice, not a bug. A realistic 4–5 year parliamentary term works out to 200+ weeks of gameplay, which on a mobile format starts to feel like a slog rather than a strategic arc. The compressed cycle is what gives a term its meaningful ticking clock, every decision matters because the next election is always visible on the horizon. I hear that strategy purists will want the realistic length though, and I've noted it and will look into building it out so players can choose at the start screen if they want realistic terms or quickplay.

The issues you've flagged - journalist responses targeted at the LOTO, inaccurate LOTO questions, repetition of decisions you've already made are v1.6 priorities being worked on already. Tightening and increasing the question banks and adding more state tracking so it stops recycling choices and lazy lines.

PLP management as a counterweight to the leadership coup mechanic, meeting hostile MPs, whip operations, faction work is a strong idea. Going on the design backlog.

Vic3-style economic and ideological pathways, and deeper relationship mechanics, are the direction I want the game to grow in. I won't pretend a solo dev can ship Paradox-scale systems overnight, but it's the right ambition and I'm building towards it.

Genuinely appreciate your review. This is the kind of review that actually moves the game forward.

### 3/5 — Good game but….

*2026-05-30*

Incredible game indeed, but the pricing for the full game is way too expensive

**Developer response:** Thanks for the kind words, ekhorugue really glad you're enjoying it!
The full unlock is a one-time payment with no subscription or ads. With regular content and feature updates so there's plenty more to come.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the game and the concept! Improvements required!

*2026-08-26*

I just love what you have created. A small request..try improving the ui ux of the game to make it more interacting and more readable. Also for iPad users, if we shift it to the horizontal way then also it shows itself vertically.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the suggestion i have noted this down for future improvement.

### 5/5 — Absolutely brilliant

*2026-08-17*

This is hands down one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played. 100% worth the small fee to access the full game. I love how everything is unique and nothing is repeated apart from a few things which probably have to be such as cabinet meetings etc. I’m liking the new features as well and look forward to seeing what else the developer does! Only suggestion is to perhaps make a variant where you can start as a backbencher and start at the local level - just trying to become an mp first, choosing a party, then constituency, strategising and eventually becoming an mp. Then the journey of rising the ranks but in a way that’s not too boring and still interesting like the current version until you fight for the leadership and then the prime minister’s office. And if you lose have the ability to try and win reelection again.
Also perhaps more info about stats and ways to bring them up or down would be useful. And if full blown war does erupt, have more ability to communicate with both sides.
A US version as president would be cool as well!
But overall fantastic work, thank you very much!!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review, your suggestions are noted for future updates

### 5/5 — Best Mobile Game I’ve Even Played Genuinely!

*2026-08-16*

I downloaded this game because I wanted to chud out and play a free UK political sim game. After downloading I was surprised to see how good it is and the detail and depth. But I was throughly disappointed to realise that rest of the game was locked behind a pay wall of £5-4 ish… BUT what is a rare thing for me to do is I actually payed the £5-4 because It was genuinely really fun and worth it. Apart from that my only other criticism is late game there’s not much variation (or slight lack there of) but I’ve only played from starting from the current climate and gdp etc. I feel late game it’s lacking in features meaning it can get a bit same old but I feel with some calculated upgrades to make it more in-depth would be the icing and sprinkles on the top.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the 5* review, your suggestion is noted and will be improved in future updates

### 5/5 — Future Updates

*2026-08-14*

The game is great there just a few updates I would like to see or add if possible!
-the first one would a war option a general layout for war allowing the country you are running to go to war and actually freeze trade with other country’s and a whole menu for war getting soldiers weapons and a deep affect of what you do maybe such things like taking a main export path over or every striking it there’s endless opportunities for a war section to be added.
-Second would be adding more country’s/ playing as then I think more country’s should be added and allow you to leave European Union or stuff like that and join BRICS or other organizations or even create your own, I would also love to see being able to play as other governments like USA, Iran, North Korea or even be able to do a deep dive and completely alter a government.
-Third and last would be more laws and more in-depth with them like more immigration, or more social bills that can really allow for other activist groups to really play a role maybe starting a more radical party to compete against yours due to many bills and time of those bills, I would also like to see maybe more in-depth options for seeing the effects for the bills and more bills added to this game

Thanks!

**Developer response:** Thank you for such a detailed review, i have noted all of this down and will add these to the roadmap if possible.

### 5/5 — Very in depth but needs improvement

*2026-08-14*

I am really enjoying this game as a political junkie however i think adding a few things such as the prime minister weekly meeting with the king would add a lot more immersion and having to navigate relations with the palace

**Developer response:** thank you for the 5* review, i'll look into this feature request.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-08-13*

This game is very good. With just more political content, I think it is a 10/10.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the 5* review

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2026-08-08*

This game is one of the best political simulators around! The way systems are implemented, the timeline of things, it’s brilliant. As someone who absolutely loves politics, it’s addictive, every week something new is there that makes you think things carefully. Normally, with a game like this, you tend to find flaws with it, but I actually can’t find any, and fair play to you )the developer), these kind of games require some crazy level of detail in design. I have a few things just to point out, this is in no way a nag or a dig. When you go on the world, it would be nice if you could directly tell that country to halt attacks, demand a ceasefire or try and start a deal, a bit like Pakistan has tried to do with Iran and the US with the MOU, as at the moment it’s mostly trade deals and condemnation. I genuinely can’t think of any other thing that could be done, this game basically has it all. If there is anyway users can help towards the project I’d be willing to do that, there’s not many games like this, and this is living up to the potential of when I first played it. Keep up the good work mate!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the 5* review, i will look into expanding the conflict discussions

### 5/5 — Brilliant game!

*2026-08-07*

Absolutely brilliant game, loving it! Arguably the best politics simulator out there. And the updates keep coming changing the way you can play the game. Really enjoy the fact you can take control of pretty much every aspect of running a country.
Would love to see the ability to play as the opposition, either before a general election or after losing one. To then play through and perhaps win another election in the future. Even the ability to step down as leader of the party instead of having to call a snap election to end your term.
As well as being able to take some more unique pathing routes. Instead of just getting a proposal to fund something you can follow that as a pathway, such as spaceflight for UKSA, perhaps bills to approve manned flights or funding for lunar missions etc.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the 5* review, your requests have been added to my list

### 5/5 — One of the best politics sim out there

*2026-08-04*

This has to be one of the most detailed British politics sim I’ve ever played. The election system is just phenomenal. Paired with regular free updates that makes the game better each update (unlike most games) you can play for free. I found it’s well worth the price to pay for the full game and the optional expansion to have the best playing experience. It’s also nice to support a developer who clearly has a real passion for the game.
My only improvements would be deeper control of the economy such as inflation reduction policies which i always tend to struggle to keep under control, currency strength, recessions etc. and like many other players request to play as the opposition.
10/10 recommend

### 5/5 — Great game, love the updates

*2026-07-27*

This is a great game, I started the free trial and left it for a day but I couldn’t resist going back the next day to buy it. I have lost hours and hours creating the perfect UK. Google Gemini has helped me to lower my inflation at last ;)

Q. The Ukraine War and US-Iran War has been running for 4 terms and I have tried answering different responses to stop them but still at 100%. Is there a way to broker a ceasefire without committing troops and signing a military pact etc?

Would love to see more development like starting wars, creating Number 10 North etc. but for £7 I have already got my money’s worth.

**Developer response:** Thank you and I'm really glad the game got its hooks into you (the Gemini inflation trick made me laugh) The How to play section in More should give you advice on how to manage the government. Now, to your actual question, because you've genuinely found something: yes, there is a way to broker a ceasefire without committing troops or signing a pact but you weren't missing it through bad play. On the current setup, the wars you named (Ukraine and the Gulf) were far too hard to end, which is exactly why you saw 100% after four terms. That's on me, not you.

I'm fixing it now so those wars can actually be brought to peace with the right approach and building it so that peace is real but not necessarily permanent: you can end a war, enjoy the calm, and later a region might flare up again. One tip for now: sticking with a consistent diplomatic line works far better than switching your response each time. And "starting wars" is very much on the roadmap. Thanks for the thoughtful review and for getting your money's worth. more coming soon.
