One thing I really don’t like is when I look up a words’ rhyme, I need to write down the rhyming word, exit out of PR and manually type the rhyming word into the song I’m writing. It would be great if I could just do a copy command of the rhyming word I like and paste into my song ### 4/5 — Pretty Good 🎸🎸🎸 *2018-08-30* I write lots of music (Christian Slam/Brutal Death Metal, Alt. Rock, Indie, etc), and this has helped me come up with rhymes. I gave it four stars, only because I think the layout is simple, and the app has some minor issues. Overall, pretty good. ### 4/5 — Needs a few patches *2017-02-21* PrimeRhyme app creator(s), This is a wonderful app I've been using for approximately 2 years for writing raps and songs of all types. I've found PrimeRhyme to help quite a lot when running into writers block, however, there is one major issue I've had. When tapping on some words to see the definition the app crashes taking you back to the home screen. It doesn't matter what you do, that word is that way. I've tried closing the app out by sliding it away then reloading it, I've tried locking and unlocking my phone, and I have even tried turning my phone off and back on and nothing worked. I am also of the opinion that you should have another feature for near rhymes, in another tab perhaps such as the Merriam Webster dictionary app with its dictionary/Thesaurus feature. If you are unaware of what a near rhyme is it is words like near and pure that if you pronounce slightly differently they will sound similar. ### 3/5 — Great idea poorly executed *2017-01-03* Great interface very sleek but not the best system. Only found 30 rhymes for the word "sea" and none of them were normal words. Great interface, poor performance. ### 3/5 — What you need *2016-12-20* This app is spot on what i was looking for, just a simple app. Put in the word and a list of rhymes will usually appear, some words come up blank such as "different". A lot of the words I tried didn't have ANY results except the exact same word. I'm disappointed. If you need exact rhymes then just stick to them but most people using this are poets, songwriters, etc. in which near rhymes are great. For the word coffee it gave me ONE rhyme, toffee. What about bossy, posse, glossy, hydroxy, not me, all week, not sleep, etc. pathetic. I'm a better rhyming dictionary than this app. ### 1/5 — Crashed on download *2015-09-27, version 1.0* I guess this app has not been updated for IOS9. I downloaded to my iPad and got kicked out on my first attempt to access the app. Too bad. It doesn't come up with anything. Go get a different rhyming app. This ones trash. 💩 ### 2/5 — Doesn't rhyme me all *2016-09-11* Sorry for the Pokemon pun but this app doesn't give all the words that rhyme with the word you put in to the search box. For instance when I put in "different" I didn't get one match not even "indifferent" that is sad because there is consent,management,absent,.....see where I'm going with this the app needs a major update to give the correct amount of rhyming words ### 2/5 — It managed to find 1 of the three words I queried *2016-08-30* Not impressed. It does have a very clean interface, so clean in fact that it only displayed one of the three words I searched. Granted this is no Oxford/Merriam Webster dictionary, but these words were not all that fancy. It managed to rhyme the only one it recognized. That's the reason for the second star. Improve the lexicon somehow and I will re-review. Perhaps add our partner with better source websites. Not recommended for any wordsmiths, or vocabulary geeks like me. Granted I only tried 3 words, but 33.3% success rate doesn't cut it for me. Deleting, will try it again later because I do like the interface.
