Primer now follows the size you have set in iOS Settings, across the whole app. ### 1.9 — 2026-09-15 Lessons that draw their own pictures Lessons now come with hand-drawn figures right in the text. Graphic organizers like story maps, Venn diagrams, T-charts, plot mountains, cause-and-effect chains, and hamburger paragraphs. Early-math models like ten frames, number lines, arrays, base-ten blocks, clocks, and coins. Science figures like Punnett squares, circuits, thermometers, graduated cylinders, moon phases, energy pyramids, and pH scales. Plus bar, line, dot-plot, and pictograph charts, and unit circles for trigonometry. Maps Geography lessons include schematic world, continent, and US maps with highlighted places, markers, and routes, along with bird's-eye maps of familiar places that teach map skills, and curated historical maps with their keys. Illustrations Lessons can include a generated picture that supports the idea being taught. A fresh look for every figure All lesson figures share one palette that matches the app in both light and dark mode, with softer edges and cleaner separation between colored parts so they're easier to read. Fixes Math in Story Mode now shows in the right color on the dark screen, formulas in the lesson objective display properly, and function graphs handle piecewise expressions, dotted lines, and plain color names. ### 1.8 — 2026-09-08 Story Mode Lessons can now play like a story. Each idea gets its own full-screen scene with your teacher reading aloud, the current sentence highlighted, and big, easy-to-read text over the lesson's artwork. It moves on by itself when the narration finishes, or you can tap through at your own pace. Switch between Read and Story any time from the lesson. Fractions, pictured Fraction lessons now include visual models: pie circles, fraction bars, sets, number lines, and area grids appear right inside the lesson, practice questions, and exit tickets, so equal parts and equivalent fractions are easy to see. Videos in Story Mode Lesson videos get their own scene with the full video picker, so you can choose from the suggested videos and rate them without leaving the story. New teacher characters Nine new teachers join the cast, including a fox, bunny, cat, deer, bear, mouse, and three princesses, each with their own voice.
