They also never rewarded me for certain promotions they advertised. And that app icon! Why does it still have that “upgrade” text on it, so unnecessary. ### 3/5 — Outstanding bank but no Zelle *2025-09-19* Primis digital bank is outstanding. Customer service, ease of use, features. But one glaring whole is that they don’t have Zelle. They say it is coming and once it does I will update my review. Other than that one thing everything else has been amazing. ### 3/5 — Latest update breaks account info tab *2025-07-14* Latest update has broken the accounts info tab for both checking and savings account views. Website shows this information but app does not. ### 3/5 — Pretty lacking, but improved *2025-03-17* Updating review: dropping a star after finding that there’s no wire transfer function anymore, have to call it in which is a major hassle. Can’t transfer to/from banks that aren’t supported by Plaid. Also how long are they going to keep the “upgrade” badge on the icon? Whose idea was that? Looks amateurish, mildly annoying. I thought it would be there for a week maybe but it’s been months now. —- New interface is pretty generic, looks like they slapped a basic bank template together and added a logo and color (looks like some of my other small banks). Accounts page forces a weekly spending widget that I can’t get rid of. I like the spending overview but why the awkward quarter grid box? Can’t ungroup the accounts, they are forced into a useless group. The best update is the new funds transfer interface which is a lot better than before. The new alerts feature is nice though it only allows for texts/emails not push notifications. It looks like APY is now displayed again on the accounts so we can stop complaining about that! The font on the transactions pages are wayy too big + large gaps at top of list and inefficient use of space so only 6 or 7 can be viewed at a time. Whenever I swipe out of the app the whole thing reloads and resets back to the home page which is really annoying. And why use a menu tab just for contacting? It does seem faster currently might just be due to everyone being locked out right now. ### 4/5 — More modern *2025-03-11* Definitely better looking than the old version, but still lacking in many areas. For example why are there no push notifications when you get a deposit to your account? No Zelle integration but that’s supposed to be coming. No wire transfer functionality, you have to call them. Simple things like being able to copy your routing/account number are missing. Take black banner off please ### 3/5 — Previous User Interface Was Better *2024-11-27* Although the look of the new user interface does look more modern, I prefer optimal functionality over looks. In the past, mobile checks would become visible in transaction histories the moment they were approved, (now they only show up after a period of delay which can take as long as the following business day). This is not only inconvenient, but it also prevents the accumulation of interest the day of deposit on some occasions. The same idea applies to ACH pull transactions - those used to post immediately if scheduled for the same day and would start earning interest immediately. These ACH pulls are now even more delayed than mobile check deposits and in the past couple of days ACH pushes have started being delayed, too, (they used to always be in the external account the next business day - that isn’t always the case now). All that being said, I will remain a Primis customer as the rates and the incoming and outgoing wire policies cannot be beaten. However, I would really appreciate checks and ACH transactions being processed in real-time, just like they were in the past. ### 1/5 — No landscape orientation *2024-11-16* New version does not correctly adjust to Landscape orientation on iPad. It remains in Portrait mode. This is an indication of poor software quality control and a failure to perform proper app validation testing on multiple devices, before releasing to users. It is an all too common deficiency these days. Due to an internal error they had on my account, I cannot access my own money for days and they have been very unwilling to help, despite admitting it’s their fault. Except only I, the customer, is paying a heavy price. ### 1/5 — Cannot lock unlock debit card within app *2025-08-04* This app does not support lock/unlock debit card functionality. ### 1/5 — Mobile Deposit *2025-06-03* Very clunky mobile depositing checks. Most banks you sign check take a pic of both sides enter amount and you’re done. Primis makes you check a half dozen boxes, requires you to manually take the pics, and very often you have to retake a pic. Camera should take pics automatically as that’s state of the art. If you happen to be a Jr, you will likely encounter difficulties. You need to make this thing more user friendly if you want mobile deposits. ### 1/5 — Still does not work on iPad *2025-03-20* March 19, 2025 update still not working properly on an iPad with a keyboard. The app does not change to landscape mode making it nearly impossible to use on iPad if you have a keyboard. Horrible software design….. this is an easy fix that Primis refuses to implement. ### 1/5 — Again a new update that is broken on iPad *2024-12-19* Once again, the latest update does not switch to landscape mode on an iPad when using a keyboard. This makes this app totally worthless on iPad. The absolute worst kind of software. Primis has NO software quality control, no device testing prior to release and no clue what they are pushing out to their customers. A total disgrace…one of the worst financial apps out there… -5 star rating if I could give it. ### 1/5 — Latest version still broken on iPad *2024-12-05* The latest version still does not switch to landscape mode on an iPad when using a keyboard. This makes it worthless on iPad.
