## What is Primitiva Mediterranea?

Primitiva Mediterránea is a game for discovering how we lived in prehistory, designed for children aged 8 and up.
Your child takes care of a tribe: sharing out food, deciding how to prepare for winter, and guiding their people through three eras, from the fire of the Paleolithic to the first metals. Every decision has consequences, and every season teaches something new about how our ancestors lived.
WHAT YOUR CHILD LEARNS
- To think and plan: saving for winter, sharing out resources, anticipating scarcity.
- Real history: the discovery of fire, the arrival of agriculture, the working of metals.
- Patience and care: looking after a tribe teaches responsibility, not just reflexes.

- The entire game is free. Optional decorative packs are available for those who want to customize their tribe.
Primitiva Mediterránea is illustrated by hand, in a style inspired by cave art, and narrated aloud so that even the youngest players can enjoy it while they're still learning to read.

Now you can make your tribe your own: new faces for your player, emblems for your village, skies for the map —including night over the cave— and illustrated memories for your card. The full game is still free and complete: these packs are just decorations, for those who want to make the journey theirs.

Primitiva Mediterránea comes to iPhone

You can now play on iPhone as well as iPad. It's the same adventure, adapted so everything reads well on a smaller screen.

Also new, on both iPhone and iPad: pinch with two fingers to zoom the map in and out, and double-tap for a quick zoom on your region.

Plus lots of small refinements along the way.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-15

Primitiva Mediterránea now has a soundtrack.

- Ambient music for every era: drums in the Paleolithic, flutes and strings in the Neolithic, and the resonant workshop of the Bronze Age. And when the Great Winter arrives... silence tells the story too.
- New Music option in Settings, next to Sound and Voice
- The first winter now teaches young explorers how to prepare: gather hides before the cold arrives
- The granary warns you when it's full and food is lost
- Smoother map performance and small fixes
