Je préfère les autres jeux un peu plus colorés, l’univers est très monochrome donc moins de plaisir pour les yeux. J’aurais pu mettre une meilleure mais je trouve le jeu un peu plat, manque d’aventure ou de rebondissement. Et ce qui m’a le + dérangée j’ai un bon niveau B2 en anglais mais il y a énormément de textes à lire ça devient très vite lassant. Il y a aussi une énorme histoire écrite à lire et comprendre pas assez bien expliquée avec bcp de vocabulaire particulier à cet univers. ### 4/5 — So close to flawless *2022-04-22, version 1.0* I enjoyed the game, it had interesting challenges and superbly atmospheric. The artwork and environment was eerie and intriguing. I wish it was a longer game. My disappointment was the use of humor and the banter. It ruined what I was hoping for a gritty serious adventure into a dark harsh world. It degraded that effect for me. ### 4/5 — A classic adventure game to revive the genre *2020-10-15, version 1.0* Plot was good, puzzles were challenging enough, voiceover work was excellent, a retro vibe and feel even further peaked my interest. The only reason I didn’t give this title five stars is due to a crash that renders the game currently unfinishable. Said crash occurs later in the game involving a puzzle solution of melting a door. Research shows this crash has existed in the Steam forums from the PC version which was reported back in October of 2017. I hope one of the devs sees this particular review, as I would love to finish the title. ### 4/5 — Fun game but to many useless items *2019-02-15, version 1.0* This is a really good game with multiple endings. You really get a sense of immersion in the world with this game and it's a cool world. Also has a a good bit of wry humor but it's not overdone. Voice acting is great and writing is really smart. Wadget eye are among my favourite games, unfortunately I've only got the ghost series left to play although I'm looking forward to them. Game play is similar to kings quest, but far better, darker, deeper story. The game is horrible in every single way. Bad graphics, slow action, silly plot, nothing interesting about it. I regret paying for it. ### 1/5 — Poor Graphics *2017-07-24, version 1.0* The graphics on my iPad Air are very pixilated, and it's hard to know what I'm looking at, even though the pictures in the App Store look crisp and clean. In the few rooms I've been in so far, it's been hard to know what objects are in view. Also, dialogue text appears and disappears very quickly, resulting in my not catching all of the plot. If I continue playing, I may upgrade this rating, but for now, the graphics alone make it too difficult to consider finishing this game. I recommend reading other reviews to see if these comments are trending. ### 1/5 — Poor graphics, empty storyline *2017-06-13, version 1.0* I love almost all of Wadjet Eye's games. I was disappointed in this one. It is just too dated. It was difficult to play it for longer than a few minutes. I'd love to see another Blackwell game, with Joey as a detective who gains a spiritual aide himself. I'd also like to see more games like Shardlight. There’s a unique and imaginative world, a quirky cast of robots, melancholy humor, and a mysterious past to discover. Puzzles are standard fare for adventure games, some clever, some likely to inspire exclamations of “b’sod!” ### 5/5 — Great game *2023-01-10, version 1.0* I really enjoyed this. The artwork blends nicely with the adventure and the many puzzles and inventory items can change gameplay, endings. My low point on this game was the humor, a wisecracking robot companion that distracted from the adventure, the mood setting. Music and sounds are well crafted. Another adventure? Please. ### 5/5 — A solid philosophical jaunt *2020-08-19, version 1.0* Playing through this game, I found plenty to think about - a bit of Foucault here (Domus and Megalopolis, Panopticon), Ayn Rand there, and a bit of Orwell too. Add to this no less than two disparate Messianic visions and your basic dystopic bargain, and you’ve got a lot to reflect on by game’s end. The game mechanics are well planned too.
