The 1980s 8 bit Prince of Persia game had more realistic character movement & posed more of a challenge than this.
The playable adverts for other games that interrupted this game were the most interesting part of this.
This is a slap in the face to the original 8 bit game’s creators.

The levels are short, every few levels you get an ad that takes a long time to skip, I downloaded this a few minutes ago and I’ve already deleted the app.

I’m reducing my rating to 3 star because I can’t get past 83% complete on level 8. I don’t know if I just don’t know how to make him jump further or what it is but there is a particularly long jump that I just can’t make and I think I’ve been spiked to death about 100 times now. I’m on the verge of giving up. I can’t believe I’m so stumped at level 8. So if there’s something different I’m supposed to be doing to get my person to jump further then I’d love to know it. Really depressed because I used to love this game and play it a lot.


This is so close to the Prince of Persia game I used to play. I didn’t have enough control with the “tap” control so I switched to “classic” and I’ve learnt how to use the controls with one hand. Those of you who played this in the 80’s will understand that the colours are actually better. I played my game “back then” with 3 colours and no options of any kind. This is Great! I’ve thought about this game often, especially when I download something for “the game” only to find that I have to build or decorate or merge or match or whatever for hours and hours and watch 10,000 ads, just so I can play the game I want to play just once. And that’s if the game is even offered beyond false advertising. So I’m extremely happy to have found this game because now I can play the ACTUAL GAME. Thank you so much to these developers. This is the best game I’ve downloaded so far, and I’ve downloaded a lot.

I see that the game gets increasingly difficult as we cross levels; I crossed hundred levels twice;
After a point, it’s monotonous. The same patterns repeat. Also the game challenges players in a unpleasant way. I notice that the blocks are spaced away from each other making it increasingly difficult, but this is not the right kind of challenge to pose on the player;

This is not the classic game! It’s a stupid tap to jump / gather gems game that has nothing to do with the original.

I really liked the left/right buttons, apparently it was removed after an update and the game is really bad now in my opinion because you cant stop running.

I wish the creators had actually played the real game, this is such a dumbed down version, all you do is jump, no strategy or mystery or finding door keys etc nothing like the original. Its horrible if you want to get the original experience, you will be super duper disappointed. I dont know , but gaming has been really dumbed down now. The original classics were so much deeper!

Lo que hacía realmente interesante a Prince of Persia era que por medio de tu memoria y alguna estrategia debías rescatar el juego. Esto solamente es una mala idea. No lo recomiendo.
