### 5/5 — Me

*2011-08-07, version 1.1*

This is a wonderful app especially designed for GIRLS!! It is friendly and educational way of learning to play piano and understanding staff. Comes with fun dressing up princess in or playing with songs. A neat package for my granddaughter.

### 5/5 — Awesome App!

### 5/5 — One of those rare times when learning really is fun!

*2011-07-15, version 1.1*

This is a terrific way to learn to play piano (right hand anyway). The visuals are great and the progressive difficulties of the songs really do help you improve your skills. Very impressed with the touch sensitivity on the keys too.

Hope they come out with a version for the bass clef!

### 5/5 — A Whole Lotta Awesome.

*2011-07-12, version 1.0*

Great app! Fun and educational (for adults too!)

### 5/5 — Educational and Fun!

*2011-07-10, version 1.0*

At $2.99 this app is mid-priced, but I found it completely worth the price. It is so well designed and beautiful to look at. My five year old loves it and has been playing it for hours. We even compete head to head to see who can play it better. She even took a song she learned from Princess Piano and played it on another musical instrument app! If you're going to get a musical education app, get this one. It's worth it!

### 5/5 — The Perfect Gift!!!

*2011-07-04, version 1.0*

If you know anyone with young kids, this is the perfect app to send as a gift. It's a brilliant music reading interactive "teacher" wrapped into an enchanting and fun adventure game, complete with cute fashion accessories that you win as you progress up through the levels.

### 5/5 — Charming, Engaging and Educational

*2011-07-01, version 1.0*

This app is perfect for kids AND adults interested in learning the basics of reading music and the piano keyboard. Princess Piano is effortlessly charming and always engaging, and her adventures are sure to capture the imagination of anyone who has the pleasure of spending time with her. Educational and FUN!

### 5/5 — cool app

*2011-06-30, version 1.0*

I downloaded this for my daughter's Ipad and she's really getting a kick out of it. The graphics are cute and it's a really easy way to learn how to read music. I recommend this for anyone with children.

### 5/5 — Great educational app!

*2011-06-30, version 1.0*

I downloaded this app for my daughter to play but haven't let her have it yet since I'm playing it myself! I used to know how to read music and this is a great refresher. I've only completed the first few levels so far and the game play is easy to figure out even if you haven't read all the instructions. You can play the game on three levels of difficulty so even when I completed a level, it was fun to go back and try it again at a more challenging skill level. The graphics are beautiful and charming. I can see Princess Piano starring in her own movie someday. My daughter who is seven and is starting to be interested in music will eat this game up.

### 1/5 — Blank screen

*2020-03-25, version 1.83*

App won’t load on iPad Pro. I can hear music, but I is blank.

### 1/5 — Piano teacher

*2013-03-20, version 1.5*

I'm so disappointed in this app. I thought it might be good for my beginning students who are struggling to learn the notes. I could not understand how to do it correctly and I've been playing piano for sixty years. Don't recommend the app.

### 1/5 — So not worth the mony

*2012-12-24, version 1.5*

This game is one of the biggest wasted of money ever.

### 1/5 — My favorite app

*2011-10-23, version 1.22*

Please, add MIDI support, so external instrument can be used, otherwise the game is useless!

### 2/5 — Princess Piano settings

*2013-12-30, version 1.6*

I like this app, but when trying to add a new user I cannot and the game keeps going back to default. I also would like to start a new game with my students and the app will not allow me to do this. When I press on new player the keyboard does not show up so that I may add a new person. I am incredibly frustrated.

### 2/5 — Buggy

*2011-08-08, version 1.1*

Fun enough that my kids are willing to play it but not so fun that they will play it by choice. It does a good job of leading kids through the basics and my kids are definitely learning. The main problem is that it freezes. A lot! We never get more than two levels without it freezing or getting in an endless menu loop that requires a reboot. I will give this app 4 or 5 stars when these bugs are fixed. For now it gets only 2.

### 4/5 — Great help to learn piano

*2011-12-15, version 1.4*

Disclaimer: I got this when it was free.
Turning learning to play piano into a game is a great idea. This children's training app uses one-note melodies to teach reading and playing music. The timing seems to be accurately measured, and the feedback is decently helpful.

However, there's no metronome or musical accompaniment, which means you have to time everything visually by the title character's bouncing. (The lack of accompaniment is especially problematic with the final song, which is simply not melodic.) There's no auditory feedback beyond the notes you play, either. But it's a learning tool, not Guitar Hero, so that's okay.

The last update seems to have fixed the biggest problem I had with this app. Just hope the other one (no aural indicator of timing) is addressed, as well as some bugs, and I won't have any other meaningful complaints. And I don't have a MIDI keyboard, so I can't say whether it's supported, but that would be magnitudes better than playing the on-screen piano.

### 5/5 — Best app ever

*2012-11-18, version 1.5*

You will learn to be awesome

### 5/5 — Good Game!

*2012-06-15, version 1.5*

I'm just starting to learn how to play the piano and learning how to read notes. This game is perfect for me because it teaches you where the notes are on the staff. I also like that you learn one note at a time, which is a good pace. I highly recommend this game for anyone who wants to learn the piano and learn how to read notes!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2012-05-31, version 1.4*

### 5/5 — Princess piano

My granddaughters and I are having a race to see who can master it first and we are learning too. I would definitely buy a sequel to this super fun game.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2011-09-18, version 1.22*

At first thought this would only appeal to my niece, but now I have found myself addicted. Well worth the price.

### 5/5 — A wonderful way to start learning to read & play music early

*2011-09-17, version 1.22*

Reading & playing piano were skills that were difficult for me to learn as I started so late in life. I was absolutely thrilled to find this wonderful app to inspire, encourage and ease my 3 year old granddaughter into knowledge that will last her a lifetime. Well worth every penny and highly recommended.
