There are actually so many available images in the app, it’s pretty amazing. Using the app to get the image on the Prinker device is straightforward. Once on the device, it quickly prints on the skin and you can hardly feel it. It has a magical sort of feel. ### 4/5 — Great option at a recent expo. *2024-07-11* The device worked out for a recent expo. It was a huge hit. The app on the other hand, not so much. When I first connected my device to the app, it said 20/20 photos had already been uploaded, so I wasn’t even given a chance to test it before having to pay for a subscription. Even after I paid, I was unable to upload photos to the app no matter what I tried! But I was able to upload them through the content hub on a web browser. Another issue I noticed is that thr feature that allows you to draw and create your own within the app is barely functional. I wasn’t able to use it. The only creation tool that worked properly within the app was creating my own text. My final gripe is that all the instructional videos have no sound, only subtitles. I am sight impaired, and I cannot follow the videos because of this and became very frustrated trying to figure out the device and the app.. For the high price tag on this item, they need to have a functional app. I’m a bit disappointed. ### 2/5 — Good idea. Bad execution. *2024-09-12* UI in app is dismal. Nothing works properly for android OR iOS. They force you into a subscription if you want to upload more than a few of your own images, while simultaneously limiting the size, quality and amount of images you can upload. The actual printers feel too cheap for the price (both models) and they print very inconsistently. Ink cartridge storage is literally a plastic bag for a $100 cartridge. Great idea, needs improvement in every category. Not worth the cost. But fun nonetheless ### 2/5 — Makes the device unusable *2023-06-10* This fantastic device is crippled by a poorly written and executed app. The app often crashes or freezes up, or forgets its login (and you can’t do anything), loses connection to the printer, forgets where it is in the app… and worst of all, it Ames you have to subscribe and pay to print plain text! The experience was so bad that I want to return the device.
