## What is Print Magazine?

Print is a bimonthly magazine about visual culture and design. Founded in 1940 by William Edwin Rudge, Print is dedicated to showcasing the extraordinary in design on and off the page. Covering a field as broad as communication itself—publication and book design, animation and motion graphics, corporate branding and rock posters, exhibitions and street art—Print covers commercial, social, and environmental design from every angle. Engagingly written by cultural reporters and critics who look at design in its social, political, and historical contexts, Print explores why our world looks the way it looks, and why the way it looks matters.

Like it’s been said already, the app isn’t working after updating to iOS 8.

Since upgrading to ios8, all Print and How subscriptions stop working. Previous purchases revert to a cloud icon and have an error message when you try to re-download. "Restore all purchases" doesn't work. Deleting the app, re-installing works for one issue once. However, once you close and re-open the app, all purchases again disappear and get an error message when attempting to re-download. Contacted customer support through e-mail but received no reply. At least post a message that you're working on a fix so customers don't get too worried.

It's seems this just the print version converted into PDF. Still good read and images but I was expecting more engagement. Mags like Readers Digest and National Geographic have taken their digital mags to the next level.

Now that each issue is broken down into parts for quick downloads and issues have Retina graphics - all 5 stars! A pleasure to read on an iPad. William Morris would be proud.

I've read this magazine for years and the iPad version is simple to use as it's based on the Adobe system that other mags like Wired and GQ use.

The only problem - after the update to iOS 6.1 last year the Adobe software that forms the backend of this magazine refuses to open unless there is an active WiFi connection.  a whole host of magazines have updated their software but Print seems very slow to do so.  I wouldn't recommend downloading this until it is updated.

If you think you're current physical print magazine subscriber and hope that you gain the access to this digital ver of magazines, sorry, this is not it! You have to subscribe for digital version separately for 19.99/year. No such option for current subscriber. Deleted.
