## What is Printer App?

Your printer is on the Wi-Fi. Your iPhone can see the network. We and when they won't, we tell you exactly why.

Most printer apps answer a failed connection with a spinner and "No printers found." Platen runs a real diagnosis instead. It checks whether the printer is awake or asleep, whether it is on the same network as your iPhone, whether your router is isolating it from other devices, whether Local Network permission is switched off, whether AirPrint has been disabled in the printer's own settings, and whether the tray is empty or a cover is open. Every message names the cause and the next thing to do. Never a bare "failed."

Printer App: Print, Scan, Fix prints over Wi-Fi to AirPrint and IPP printers — over 10,000 AirPrint printers, including models from HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Xerox, Ricoh, Kyocera and Samsung. If your printer does not appear by itself, add it by its IP address.

- A weekly plan with a 3-day free trial, or an annual plan
- Canceling takes two taps inside the app, and a trial never turns into a plan you did not choose
- Prices are shown in your own currency before you buy
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in the app, or in your App Store account settings.

PRIVACY
- No account, no ads, no tracking, no precise location
- Local Network permission is used only to find your printer and ask it what is wrong
- Platen records whether a print succeeded and why one failed, so connection problems get fixed. It is never tied to your name and never includes what you printed.
