To even use any features you have to pay right away a subscription. There is a free trial option for 3 days but still they will charge you 12.99 for the weekly plan. When this happen to me HP shut down access to Printer app as well forcing me to waste 45 minutes getting a very apologetic rep on line. HP is dead to me, moving over the Brother or another after buying over 20 HP printers over the years. At the end of the call, the rep offered to me a special promotion $7.99 to purchase a printer… if I subscribe to their Ink program. I told the representative HP is dead to me.
