## What is Printer Rise?

Printer Rise turns your iPhone and iPad into the easiest way to print, scan and copy. It finds the printer on your Wi-Fi, shows its live status and ink levels, and sends your photos and documents straight to it — no cables, no drivers.

PRINT ANYTHING
• Photos — borderless 4×6, 5×7 and 8×10, or up to four per page
• Documents — PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pages, text and images
• Web pages, copied text and quick notes
• Choose copies, color or black & white, two-sided, paper size and page range

SCAN & COPY
• Scan with your camera: edges are found and straightened automatically, page after page
• Scan from your printer's glass or document feeder, in color or grayscale, at up to 600 dpi when your scanner supports it
• Clean up pages with Enhanced, Grayscale and Black & White filters, rotate and reorder
• Copy a document in one tap — capture it and print right away
• Save scans as PDF or JPG, share them, or pull the text out with text recognition

YOUR PRINTER, AT A GLANCE
• Automatic printer discovery on your Wi-Fi network
• Live status: ready, printing, offline or needs attention
• Estimated ink and toner levels with low-ink alerts
• Plain-language alerts for paper jams, empty trays and open doors
• Printer details, test page and quick access to the printer's own settings page

PRINTABLES & LABELS
• More than 100 ready-to-print worksheets, coloring pages, greeting cards, planners, crafts and games
• 280 label designs in 16 themes — shipping, food, coffee, birthdays, weddings, holidays and more
• Labels print at exact sizes and fill a whole sheet automatically

SHORTCUTS
• Build one-tap workflows: scan, then print, save to My Files and email in a single step

HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT
• "Check my printer" diagnostics
• Step-by-step guides for offline printers, Wi-Fi setup, paper jams and print quality

Works with most Wi-Fi printers that support AirPrint, plus network scanners that support AirScan (eSCL).

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-21

Steadier Printing

Our focus this time was on keeping things running smoothly from the moment you open the app to the second your page comes out of the tray. We tracked down the causes behind a handful of unexpected quits and gave the whole experience a careful tune-up.

- Fewer crashes during printer discovery and large print jobs
- Smoother scanning when working through multi-page documents
- Small polish across the print preview, labels and printables

Thanks for printing with us. If you ever hit a snag, tap "Check my printer" inside the app and we'll help you sort it out.
