## What is Prior?

Prior shows the water rights that come with a piece of land, in Utah, Colorado and Idaho.

Search an address, parcel number or water right number, or just tap the map. Prior pulls each state's official records and shows them in plain view:
• Water rights: owner, priority date, source, flow (cfs), volume (acre-feet), uses and status
• "Senior" badges for older rights that are usually served first in a dry year
• Parcel details: county, acreage, market value and assessor links (where the state publishes them)
• PLSS location (section, township, range)
• Utah change applications and Utah Water Hub listings for the area
• Saved lookups: keep the properties you're working on, with your own notes

Built for real estate agents, buyers, ranchers and anyone sizing up land. Data comes from Utah DWRi and UGRC, Colorado DWR (CDSS), and Idaho IDWR. Prior is an informational tool, not a legal opinion; always confirm with the state.
