### 5/5 — Simple but beautifully executed

*2020-04-21, version 2.1.0*

I had to leave a review for this app even though I just downloaded it a few minutes ago. The fact is that I’ve been writing down my top 3-5 todos recently on a 3x5 index card, it’s been the only way that I’ve been able keep my sanity lately. When I ran into this app it was such an immediate relief that there are others who can relate with this method.

The app is well designed and works great. I know that it’s not the most feature rich but outside of having this app for Mac I wouldn’t recommend adding a thing.

### 5/5 — Wonderfully Simple!

*2020-04-10, version 2.1.0*

Finally a task related app that works just like my brain. Most productivity related apps are a jumbled mess and I quickly lose interest trying to plan. I love how “Right There” everything is. I would love an option for planning ahead for the important things, possibly with built in reminders. That’s the only suggestion I can find, great app for a college student who has spends too much time planning, and not enough actually doing.

### 5/5 — Sharp and Focused

*2020-03-23, version 1.1.0*

Clean and effective. Means to and ends rather than bloating into an unintended end-unto-itself.

### 5/5 — It Can’t Get Simpler! Love it

*2020-03-23, version 1.1.0*

You make a list of priorities. You do them. Done.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I’ve been looking for

*2020-03-22, version 1.1.0*

Saw this app on Reddit and had to try! I procrastinate heavily with over-organizing my notes, reminders, and calendars. I ditched those and started using a tiny 99¢ notepad to jot down 2-5 things I wanted to accomplish each day, and that actually worked for me! This app is like my little 99¢ notepad, on my phone. Exactly what I needed— no clutter, no opportunity for me to fiddle around with labels and deadlines for three hours. But with the extra help of push notifications! Thank you!

### 5/5 — Awesome app!

*2020-03-22, version 1.0.1*

Came here from the creator’s post on reddit and I am really looking forward to adding this to my daily routine. Thanks for your work.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Used to be great

*2024-11-29, version 3.0.3*

This app was great up to a couple months ago. Now it’s glitchy. It loses tasks I just typed in and tried to select for today’s priorities. Things mysteriously get sent to history. Old priorities that were finished pop back up. It’s too bad. This app was really helping. Hope it comes back but it’s unreliable right now.

### 1/5 — Glitch central - avoid

*2023-10-13, version 3.0.3*

No update in 9 months and while beautiful, the app is full of glitches and, at least on iOS 17, does no longer work as intended.

### 3/5 — New update, no backlog

*2026-06-21, version 3.2.35*

The new update looks fresh and wonderful, but where did my old backlog?! I’ve been using the app daily since it was first released and it’s always been great but losing my backlog is going to be frustrating until I can remember what was in there.

### 4/5 — Completed items

*2023-10-02, version 3.0.3*

Almost perfect… will not let you reverse a completed item once logged in history as completed?

### 4/5 — Missing morning / evening notifications

*2023-02-28, version 3.0.3*

This app would be a 10/10 and benefit everyone that wants to build the muscle memory if they simply created a notification that said “what are you focused on tomorrow?” around 9pm, and another at 7am (or whatever you prefer) saying “here are your priorities for today.

### 5/5 — Recent update killed this app

*2026-07-05, version 3.2.54*

Since the latest update, the app has lost its functionality & appeal. I was forced to login to Apple. No history. No ability to backlog (and previous backlog items missing). No ability to turn off sound associated with adding a priority.

### 5/5 — Love! Please consider adding Widgets!

*2024-02-21*

Widgets would be amazing! Some days I forget to put in my priorities so a widget would be fantastic for keeping my streak alive

### 5/5 — Perfect to do list app for people that like simplicity

*2022-06-24, version 3.0.2*

No date settings, colour coding or categorising, and that’s a good thing.

This app splits your tasks into two lists: Things you have to do today, and things you have to do after today.
Every morning you review what you’ve done and make a new list for the new day.

It’s so simple that I actually use it. If you’ve been trying other to do list apps but think they’re too bloated or complicated, then definitely try this app.

### 5/5 — Fantastic for organizing my thoughts

*2021-08-30, version 2.1.0*

I’m one of those people who always has random thoughts of things to do. Instead of forgetting or jotting it down, this app is perfect. Even if you don’t finish something, it carries over perfectly to try next day. The only thing I would like better is color customization. Besides that, everything is perfect!

### 5/5 — Best method no lie

*2021-07-10, version 2.1.0*

I found out when I would write priorities with detailed tasks and write down the why and categorize it,I’d actually end up doing it. This app reminded of a forgetton method it’s not detailed but it’s good

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2021-02-20*

This is what I’ve been looking for. A simple list app that lets you reorganise them to priorities. And not packed with unnecessary features. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Just what I needed

*2021-01-26, version 2.1.0*

I use this app to shift up and down what is the priorities in my life for too long I have been focusing on the small stuff need to move the needle on the big goals

### 5/5 — Exactly What I Was Looking For

*2021-01-22, version 2.1.0*

This is a simple yet intuitive and effective app.

I’ve used many appified productivity tools but this one works very well for me because three tasks is a manageable and effective way to achieve something every day.

The UI is sleek and the notifications aren’t annoying or overly repetitive.

### 5/5 — Great app & system!

*2020-07-28, version 2.1.0*

This is a great app! I use it with the Goals app (another incredible app by this developer). Very quickly I have come to rely on them daily. I’ve tried countless to-do and habit tracking apps in the past including the big ones like Things, Wunderlist, etc.). Goals + Priorities is the system that I’ve been searching for and never knew I needed. They have transformed my workflow and are playing an integral part in my progress toward achieving my life goals & dreams. Thank you so much for these amazing apps! 😊

### 5/5 — No frills

*2020-07-14, version 2.1.0*

Fantastic minimalist to do app. Focus helps me remember what to get done and prioritize without getting bogged down by an interface.
