### 2/5 — Data loss BUGS!!

*2025-02-04, version 4.3.5*

I love this. Or at least I really want to love it. Unfortunately, I can't because it keeps losing data. This is a killer weakness in a task management system. Today I had to type the same task in three times because it lost it the first two. (this is not the one that bothers me; the one that bothers me is when a task simply disappears forever after a few hours or days.)

Furthermore, a lot of the best keyboard shortcuts are locked behind the business pay wall which is something like $30 a month, which is a lot for this software.
I have complained to the devs about these things, but nothing has been resolved as far as I know. So I mostly don't use it and I'm currently relying on OmniFocus 4 instead which is bulletproof.

I am sad to write this review, but hope that it might finally encourage some improvement.

### 1/5 — Update

*2024-02-22, version 4.1.1*

Coming back to change my rating.

The update is both visually worse and less user friendly without any added benefits. The change to the organization does not improve or clarify anything.

Additionally, just to add insult to the inefficiency, I lost all of my active projects in the update in exchange for my projects and to do lists from over four years ago.

### 3/5 — Nice app, but I can’t pay for the premium in the app to unlock the full feature

*2022-11-26, version 3.9.70*

Please help fixing it. Thanks.

### 4/5 — Just one thing…

*2022-01-11, version 3.9.70*

So far this app has been pretty useful. I’m still getting used to it but one feature that can be added to make the experience smoother would be a switch user feature between multiple accounts. I have a personal and work account for priority matrix. Sometimes my husband wants to use my phone to log in and it would be easier to switch users without signing out and having to log back in on the same device.

### 4/5 — Best way to manage lots of moving parts

*2020-11-21, version 3.9.62*

For me this is the best fit for managing events, appointments, emails, meetings and results. Takes some getting used to all the many parts but a very robust management tool.

### 3/5 — Very great but..

*2020-11-09, version 3.9.62*

Its an awesome app but if I could add another box cause i use weekdays to organize my tasks. Thanks

### 1/5 — It doesn’t make Any sense

*2020-05-20, version 3.9.58*

I receive a lot notifications but it’s not easy to use

### 5/5 — Great Product with GREAT Support

*2020-04-02, version 3.9.52*

Grateful I found Priority Matrix. I’ve been looking for a cross platform all in one organizer. PM is great for those of us that need to start small and grow into using more and more of the apps capabilities. The support team has been helpful and clear as I’ve created problems with mismatched accounts and password issues. I’m using the app for my personal and professional projects.

### 1/5 — Does not recognize completions.

*2020-03-25, version 3.9.52*

This app does not recognize completed items at 100% done or deleted, it keeps sending you reminders that they are due or in progress.

### 1/5 — They aren’t honouring purchases.

*2020-03-06, version 3.9.52*

Bought in May 2012 and now I have to pay again to use it. Nah, I’ll just use notepad

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — iOS version is a joke

*2026-08-27, version 4.3.5*

PM is the best organization app I’ve ever came across, easy. I tried them all. This mobile version tho? A joke. It asked me *in the app* (I double-checked!) to… *download the app*.
And if you click on the bookmark icon, it will - you guessed it! - take you *back* to the App Store to download it.
Maybe this is because I’m trying it with a school account, and it’s not officially supported by the IT system. I will try with a personal account. Abysmal UI experience on iOS for me is an understatement.

### 1/5 — Please update!

*2025-07-31, version 4.3.5*

I’ve been using this for many years and the latest update is terrible. Freezes, takes ages to load and the worst bit, some of the items I put in don’t get saved.

### 1/5 — Subscription nonsense

*2025-03-23, version 4.3.5*

Bought this years ago. Now they want payment every month for a 2x2 square. I’m not a cow that needs milked!!!

### 1/5 — From favourite to abysmal, bad to worse!

*2024-12-03, version 4.3.2*

Dec 2024: that’s it, I’m saying goodbye to this app. Functionality has dropped off a cliff and the developer seems to be pursuing 365 integration for teams over individual usability. This is no longer a workable app.

Older review: This used to be my favourite app over 5+ years but now since the most recent update it’s totally unusable. Not sure who the developer canvassed for input but it can’t have been existing users. This is now a total waste of my subscription.
The app now requires way more steps, harder to use, clunky and gets stuck waiting for connection, flicks randomly between screens. All in all a total disaster of an upgrade. I’m a business and personal user. Developer please wake up.

### 1/5 — I think their concept of pricing is just a tiny bit off

*2024-04-06, version 4.2.7*

Perhaps for corporate use-maybe- but doubtful. For what this program barely is its a $5 app. Thinking its worth $130 PER YEAR is beyond outlandish. More expensive than Microsoft Office and some people’s cell phone bills. Come on kids. Get real

### 1/5 — Version update is terrible

*2024-03-17, version 4.2.4*

The new version of Priority Matrix is terrible; I first thought there had been a bug causing an older version to be loaded.

I don’t think I can keep using this app unless the older version is restored. It has better functionality, quicker access and was easier to navigate. This was a 5 star app until the upgrade was completed.

### 1/5 — From favourite to abysmal

This used to be my favourite app over 5+ years but now since the most recent update it’s totally unusable. Not sure who the developer canvassed for input but it can’t have been existing users. This is now a total waste of my subscription.

### 1/5 — Trial terminated immediately after update. Can’t even retrieve my lists for moving elsewhere.

*2024-02-28, version 4.1.1*

It is very bad.

### 1/5 — New update

*2024-02-24, version 4.1.1*

Why have you decided to update the app.

It’s changed everything and now you want a mo they payment.

### 1/5 — Update is awful

*2024-02-23, version 4.1.1*

I loved this app and it was very useful in organizing my thoughts, ideas, and to do lists. With the newest update they are trying to charge me for basic use of the app. The app is also unusable right now, as I can’t find my previous matrixes and there are many points where you can’t go to the last page and the only way to get back is by restarting the app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Business game changer

*2024-11-05, version 4.3.2*

As a manager I confidently know that my team is working only on my identified priorities. Easy to use and integrates well in outlook & teams and iOS app.

### 5/5 — One or two clicks simplicity

*2023-05-02, version 3.9.70*

I have been using this app for years. Easily handle my work and personal tasks in the same view.
One or two clicks interactions with the software are the main feature I like together with quadrant organization.

For me even native iPhone app for tasks can’t match the simplicity and versatility of the matrix

### 5/5 — GREAT BUT NEEDS…

*2023-04-16, version 3.9.70*

THE SORT BY COLOR FEATURE IN WINDOWS VERSION

### 5/5 — Fantastic little app

*2022-10-10, version 3.9.70*

Very easy to keep track of all your tasks. The only thing I would change would be if you could use the app off line. In order to access stored files, you have to have internet service or cell. Thanks for a great app

### 5/5 — Great App

*2022-10-03, version 3.9.70*

Does exactly what I was hoping for. I would recommend.

### 5/5 — Helping me…

*2022-05-25, version 3.9.70*

…get organized with my most challenging area- getting organized. Still in initial phases of transferring items from outlook and other sources.
Taking some woodshedding time but I think it will:
- provide proper structure for control better control of time to reliably get things done and,
- flexibility to allow unplanned off-ramps for creative binging.
Cheers. Great product…

### 5/5 — The Best. Look no Further

*2021-10-07, version 3.9.67*

I have long been a user of the Eisenhower Matrix. I have tried every one of the applications available and have concluded, without any doubt, that this one is the best. I am impressed with its power and versatility. The pros are too many to get into here. It must be used for a couple of days to fully appreciate. The only downside is the limitation of choices available for recurring tasks. Still, the positive aspects of this app are so good and so refined that I must still give it five stars. Maybe, in a future release, they will improve on the recurring options.

### 5/5 — Great idea

*2021-08-10, version 3.9.65*

Thank you !

### 5/5 — Loving this app

*2020-07-16, version 3.9.62*

I had so many little things to do but I couldn’t prioritise. I have my own custom matrix now with jobs marked two minutes 20 minutes to days and to do now. I’m stoked

### 5/5 — Life code

*2020-04-09, version 3.9.54*

Can someone do this for me? How can decoy them tomorrow??
