### 3/5 — It was a great app in the beginning..

*2023-06-06*

Prism was a great app when it first started. It was a life saver to have all bills centrally located and paid in one place. But little by little problems started arising. Some billers were all of a sudden have syncing issues and I would have to log in again and again and again. Then some bills that were set to autopay were not going through. Lately I almost missed a payment becsue a bill that was set to be paid on a due date just hung as payment pending and never went through. What made it worse was the fact a notification never came through alerting me the payment was still pending or hadn't gone through on the actual due date. Luckily I spotted it before the due date passed and avoided a missed payment. Issues like that are little by little getting me to start leaving the app. I have unlinked most of my billers already and plan on doing the same to my last three I still have there. It is a shame because it was a great....solid...app that little by little started going downhill for me lately.

**Developer response:** Hey there, thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you're having these troubles. We do take things like missed payments very seriously and would love to look into those for you. Please reach out to our support team via Help & Support in the app and they will be happy to investigate. Thanks!

### 3/5 — Used to be better.. What happened guys?

*2021-11-29, version 3.4.2*

This app has been so helpful and I still continue to use it.. it seems like there’s been a lot of turn over in leadership and development and I’m just disappointed. It will do what it says, pay and track your bills. The interface has gotten cleaner but clunkier. It’s useful to set up bill reminders and to process payment.. I know it makes sense for them to add a few dollars to your bill to make their cut.. but I hate that. Some bills aren’t as up to date as they say they are and I don’t think the bank count portion of this app has ever reflected the correct amount in my account.. so if it’s trying to cut out a banking app.. it’s not doing it super well. Prism, y’all got a good thing here.. please develop the customer experience. Make things more convenient and intuitive to make this app more helpful than an annoyance.

That sounds direct, honest feedback though. Thanks for all the hard work the developers have put in. Keep going on this. Maybe come back to your roots a little.

**Developer response:** Hey there Brice! Thank you for your feedback. Prism never charges fees for using the app to pay your bills. If that is happening, you need to reach out to your billers to see if they are charging convenience fees since we do not add fees ever. We appreciate you continuing to stick by us while we continue to improve the app. We would like the chance to investigate your specific issues so if you could reach out to us via Help & Support in the app with your concerns and reference this review, we'll certainly take a look. Thank you again for continuing to be part of the Prism family!

### 3/5 — Once my favorite app

*2021-10-16, version 3.4.1*

For the longest time, this app was one of my favorites. I’ve used it for many, many years, maybe close to 10 years before the app became more well known. It kept my bills and accounts in one place and made it easy to keep track of and pay bills. I had used Mint for a long time prior to this one and deleted the Mint account in favor of this one. However, after the last few updates and continuous problems with syncing my accounts the past year or so, I’m finally giving it up and trying to replace it with something else. The customer service is great, and for the most part, when it works properly, it’s a great app. However, it’s usefulness for me isn’t what it used to be, or should be, so I’m sadly leaving it behind. Thank you for the many, many years of financial organization and the responsive customer service!

### 3/5 — It’s good…

*2021-09-18, version 3.3.3*

But I wish there was a way to manually add lesser known billers. I feel like it wouldn’t be that hard to put in the website & prism show you your active balance & when your next bill is due. But the way it is now, for my water company (which is extremely small. They got a website just a few months ago). You have to put what the bill is, the amount & when it’s due. All manually. So every month I’ll have to go update the actual due date (because it differs) as well as the amount (which also differs). I just feel like making it an option to include their url would make it much easier because it could automatically input the data. I’m not tech savvy. But I think it would be doable. Please make the manual billers easier to manage!! I love that I can see all of my other bills, the amounts & due dates in one place. Definitely a step up from me getting online once a month to write the amounts I owe plus the due dates on a post it to put on my fridge. So I appreciate that. I just wish it made it easier for all of the billers. Not just the most well known ones.

**Developer response:** Hey there, thank you for this great feedback! We strive to take each suggestion and request to the table to see exactly how it can be implemented so that we can give our users the best experience. Thank you again and thank you for being a part of the Prism Family!

### 2/5 — Too many log-in problems now

*2021-09-07, version 3.3.2*

I used to love Prism and I even tipped them monthly for being such a great service. I absolutely hate the new version. The text is tiny, the calendar page is useless because it’s just a bunch of numbers on days in colors that I can’t assign as important for example. The layout is not intuitive like the old one was. It’s very slow when changing screens and now? Now I’m getting locked out of accounts because of all the layers of security companies have added. Prism does so many auto-tries to login that I keep getting blocked when a company changes login. Finally, I no longer use Prism to pay most of my bills because many companies will not let them in. I’ve set my bills to automatically get paid.

I’m sad that I have to look for a GOOD calendar that shows me at a glance what’s up. I know of no reliable bill pay outside of my bank, which I guess I will try. Goodbye to a once great app.

### 4/5 — Dear, Penny Pinchers, READ!

*2021-08-16, version 3.2.2*

LOVE this app. I have been using it since 2018 when I learned about it. You have to link ALL your billers to get alerts but I love how I can can visually see all my monthly billers on a calendar with my income on ONE calendar. My credit card balance and bank accounts are shown and updated weekly so I can see my credit card bills going down to meet our goals. The only miner set back I have is, billers like; Xfinity, CitiBank, BofA Credit Card, tend to lock you out from Prism for security reasons but I have learned to live with it because it’s for security of my accounts. As of now(Aug 2021), this app does NOT require a monthly subscription which is a great for us penny pinchers that don’t want to commit and then un-commit when money gets tight. Just get the APP and try it, you won’t regret it. Happy Penny Pinching, Penny Pinchers! ;D

### 2/5 — Bill autopay flawed

*2021-04-28, version 3.0.49*

Prism repeatedly failed to pay my bills set up for autopay. After using the app for a couple years, I found that Prism missed paying a bill on time or at all at least quarterly. Prism never explained how this happened or how to prevent it despite my repeated inquiries. To their credit, Prism always covered my late fees when I complained, but what a pain. I thought that Prism's autopay would be convenient, but it required constant monitoring to ensure that automatic payments were in fact made and contacting Prism if they were not paid. I can set up automatic payments directly through each biller, and this requires no such work.

Prism replied to this review to counter my points and was incorrect on most accounts. The automatic payments never "failed"; they often were never submitted in the first place, and Prism wasn't even aware that the payments weren't processed. I found out by checking my bills or by receiving past due notices from my billers. Prism never explained this, even after I contacted Prism.

Prism: If you are reading this, you can review my account and confirm this.

### 2/5 — Loved it until.....

*2021-04-28, version 3.0.49*

I have used Prism for years and love the app! BUT the customer service is horrible! I ended up switching to a new phone and getting a new phone number this past weekend and I didn't know I wouldn't have any way to access to my account (linked to my old phone number). It wants to send a link to my old number and no other way to update my new information.

I have sent an email twice asking them to let me know how to getting around it sending me a link to my old phone and seeing if they can update my information. No one has responded (the auto response said they will get back to me within 24 hours and that hasn't happened) back. I have found two phone numbers online and no one answers. I'm super frustrated because I'm trying to get access to all my bills (can't remember all the passwords online and now I have to set up my account again) I didn't know I was going to have to set up everything again!

Developers - have other ways to set up and change information. Ohhh... And have people there to answer an email and phone. I'm planning on leaving prism because of a lack of customer service.

### 3/5 — Update Ruined this App but it is getting better now

*2021-03-27, version 3.0.47*

3/27 review update. Most of the issues that I noted below have thankfully been fixed. I still don’t understand why they took an app that was fantastic and messed with it. It’s going to take me a while to fully trust that their going to focus on maintaining the core purpose of the app - a single location where I can manage and pay all my bills on time.

I’ve been using Prism for many years. It was really easy to use. I could go to a single screen see what needed to be done and take action from that same screen. It pointed out when the amount was out of whack with the previous month so I’d know when I might need to investigate further. It remembered my typical selections for each bill, so it was a quick glance to make sure everything was right and then pay the bill.

Now I have to remember to go into what looks like it would be profile and account to get to the notifications and then go back to the bill to deal with it. I can’t delete the notification while I’m in the reading view. I have to back to the screen showing all of them and go through a deletion process there.

It’s not easy to see the status of each biller anymore. There’s tiny print showing when paid or will be paid. I have to look really closely now instead of being able to assess with a quick glance. I don’t understand the reasoning for any of these changes. Everything takes more time and is harder to use than it was in the past.

### 2/5 — New update is awful

*2021-02-24, version 3.0.31*

I have been using prism for years. Honestly, not sure what I would do without it. It has helped me manage my many bills and without the app it would probably have cost me a lot of late fees over the years just from myself being disorganized. This app organizes everything for me. That being said, the new layout is awful. I feel like I don’t have as good of an idea of what is going on with my bills and money with it. My friend told me she hated it so I waited until today (Feb 23) to update it. I regret doing so. My first experience was trying to pay $2500 on one of my credit cards. The payment has been “processing” since 7am and no way to cancel it so that I can just pay directly through the credit card company myself. If this bill was due today, it would be late because of this. So, my first experience with the update is awful, and already contemplating looking to see what other apps are out there that compare.. Please bring back the previous layout. Please!

(Feb 24) I updated my review to lower the star rating. The bill is still unpaid and “processing”. I have made frequent attempts to contact customer service, nothing. I am no longer comfortable paying bills directly through this app. It worked fine before the update. The app frequently crashes now and I’ve also had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to open at one point.

### 3/5 — More of the Same

*2021-02-23, version 3.0.28*

Hardly innovative, this app is just more of the same. The only reason I’m still using it is because it seems to be the only one that logs you in to your biller so it updates you instead of you having to manually add a bill... however... the lack of new basic features is driving me to look for another app. It seems like all this company does is update billers. Cool yeh, but how about some basic functionality that those manual entry apps offer like a widget! Or calendar integration! I get that the app offers a “calendar view” of bills but it’s just bills. It prides itself on having all your bills in one view yet wants us to use its calendar for bills instead of using calendar integration so we can see bills with our other scheduled events. And how about the option to sync with a spouse! Sure would be nice if a couple that shares finances could view the same info and pay on the fly. This app is just more of the same and will always all back on... we’re working on an update so check back soon 😒

### 2/5 — A step backward

*2021-02-17, version 3.0.25*

This new design looks good. But it’s a step or perhaps two backwards. The UI designer clearly did not have any clue about UX (user experience). The whole design slows you down. The apple performance has degraded but more on that later. The UI makes everything take 2 touches extra. Tap on a bill to pay. Wait. Click on make a payment. Wait. Click on how much to pay. Wait. Click in amount to pay. Wait. Then click on update to confirm amount. Wait. Then click which account to use. Wait. Click on account. Wait. Touch update to confirm. Wait. Then click on date to pay. Wait. Then pick a date from the date picker. Wait. The date picker does not indicate when the Bill is due. So go back to the first screen to look up the due date and start over with all steps again! No longer do we have the option to choose 1 or 3 days before due date as an option. You have to remember the due date and select the payment date manually.

The only silver lining is that it’s still free! Thank you for that. Happy to leave a tip to help you pay your bills for creating and hosting the app.

### 3/5 — Updated the UI, broke critical functionality

*2021-02-15, version 3.0.24*

I have used Prism for years, ever since Mint got rid of their bill pay feature. I have loved Prism and used it nearly daily. It worked wonderfully 99% of the time. It didn’t work with my CapitalOne accounts and one time it made a mistake and I got an NSF fee on my mortgage payment, but they took responsibility and refunded me the fee.

However, they just did a major UI refresh. I’m not a huge fan of the new UI fir a variety of reasons, but the critical issue is that the new version apparently broke some bank integrations. I no longer get bill alerts for several of my accounts, and sometimes even when I see the bill in Prism, I tap on it and it doesn’t open (I’ve noticed this with US Bank; the lack of notifications seems to be across the board).

Unfortunately due to these bugs, I no longer trust Prism to make sure I pay my bills on time. If these issues don’t get fixed soon, I will be looking for another app.

### 1/5 — Cat insurance lapsed...

*2021-02-11, version 3.0.24*

I’ve been using this app for years and was super happy with it and recommended it to everyone. Now I’m in trouble because of it! My Farm Bureau car insurance lapsed because they had sudden trouble updating my biller and the app NEVER LET ME KNOW THERE WAS A PROBLEM!! As a result - I’m in trouble with the DMV and have to pay $50 fine. Now I also have to deal with DMV because they revived my license plates and god only know what king of trouble it will be at the DMV today... Usually it would tell you that there is a problem with the biller but not this time. I trusted it so much - I just go and pay whatever it says, now I feel I have to double check if there are any billers that just not being updated so I don’t see the bill.
I’m seriously thinking about switching to a different app now. I’m afraid I’ll miss other bills and my credit score will go down.
I called the number and couldn’t get anyone on the phone, left a message - no one called me back. Before it was easy to get in touch with them, I had an issue with HSBC bank before, the app showed me there was a problem, I called and it was solved right away. Now - no communication. I’m very disappointed!
Also - the new interface is not good at all.

**Developer response:** Sorry about the fee you incurred! We'd love to help you our here. If you haven't yet, please message our Support team (via Help & Support in your Prism app) and reference this review and our team will do their best to assist you here and help make this right!

### 1/5 — Used to be better and now it’s worse!

*2021-02-04, version 3.0.20*

Just lowered the review because this new update makes the app even worse. And the most recent update has removed the calendar view. Not good.
I might need to go back to Mint or find another biller. This is horrible.

I got this app a few years back because Mint had too many glitches. It was great and way better and more consistent than Mint. Unfortunately over the last year or so that hasn’t been the case. More and more the app won’t sync with my bank and at least half of my credit cards. Contacting Prism help is a waste of time because all they say is they’re working on it or there’s an issue on the credit card end. Perhaps it’s because so many banks and credit card companies have to take extra measures on security and I get that. But the app was way more helpful when I didn’t miss due dates and could make payments from the app instead of getting notifications that the biller couldn’t sync and I have to go to the biller’s website to make a payment.

### 4/5 — New update

*2021-02-03, version 3.0.18*

Edit: new update is much improved already!! Thank you devs for being so responsive and listening to feedback 😊

The new update removes almost everything I like about Prism. There is less functionality and the UI looks worse. The different colors for each bill was way more helpful. Now everything is a shade of blue and many of my bills are the same color since some are from the same bank. I miss the rainbow. The “Money” view where I could see all my card balances is gone, which is a huge disappointment. The due dates on bills are small and hard to read, they should be much more prominent. I have to go through my profile to see notifications instead of accessing them in the bottom tray. Also the bell icon in the profile menu looks like it should be clickable but it’s not. The solid blue calendar does not look great and again the font is much too small and light. I’m so sad, I love Prism and have been a user since 2015. Please consider bringing back some of the old functionality :(

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disappointed in this app

*2023-08-27*

Tried this out for the first time looking to keep track of bills and due dates in a more efficient manner. After a frustrating long time trying to add in my payees, most of which would not communicate with the app, I finally got a hand full of payees linked up. I revisited the app the next day to find out my water bill online I had been locked out of due to too many attempts to log on by the app and when I went to pay my electric bill it told me the payment went though on the app but not my bank. I didn’t see it deducted from my bank account for days, only to be sent a letter from SCE advising my attempted payment had bounced and I now was faced with a return check fee and a flag on my account for bounced checks. I now have to pay in person, or send them a money order.
When I sent them a DM on the app I was told they don’t even see ANY transaction for souther California Edison. I’m looking at the bounced check letter as I type this.
This app was a huge waste of time. It would have actually been faster and more efficient to just visit individual applications for your bills and pay individually and then to use your phone calendar to save the dates.

### 1/5 — Save yourself the trouble

*2022-04-20, version 3.4.4*

Like many others have stated, this app used to be great! I loved being able to see all my bills and paydays in one place that reflected my payments and deposits in (relatively) real time. Other money apps out there only ever offered to track my spending but that’s not what I needed, Prism gave me what I needed. But then it got less and less usable as time went on. Billers stopped syncing, banks stopped verifying, the UI became very unintuitive and awful (and they got rid of the widget! I’m still real bummed about that part).
Truthfully, I don’t know if an app like Prism (even in its old, workable state) can be sustained. With so many banks and billers out there, constantly changing security measures and whatnot, can one app truly keep up with them all?
Basically, save yourself the trouble and skip this app. It pains me to say it. You’re better off getting one of those 99-cent jumbo calendars from the store that you can write in all your bills’ due dates on, and setting up online payments with your billers directly. Heck maybe even automatically if you’re in a position to do so.
I’m relieved Prism was not my only system for keeping track of things, but it sure was a fantastic supplement while it functioned. Shame to see it become nigh-unusable now.

**Developer response:** Hey there, thanks for reaching out. We do have quite the task of keeping up with security measures and biller requirements, as well as increasing and updating our security measures to keep our users safe as well. It may result in small hiccups or hurdles with some billers, however we are consistently working on smoothing those out as we move forward.

### 1/5 — Losing it’s usefulness

*2022-03-22, version 3.4.2*

Edit 2 for Dev response: Biometric security isn’t optional when it straight up doesn’t even work. It’s also been 5 months since an update the store page says now. I can click on version history and see you used to get regular updates just like every other financial app does. I’ve checked all my banking apps and they all get regular updates. When the OS gets more updates than your buggy app something ain’t right. Like I said before the only person working hard anymore on this app is the guy replying to (endless bad) reviews.

Edit: The fact a financial app hasn’t been updated in 4 months tells me they won’t last much longer. There are numerous glaring bugs as serious as things like Face ID not ever being asked for! Sadly it’s basically just a reminder app for me now to pay my bills on time in a different app. I think the only guy still working at the company is the one replying to reviews…. Old review: I’ve liked and used this app for a while but it seems that banks and businesses are using new levels of encryption that kill prisms connection. Wells Fargo, PayPal, t-mobile no longer appear for me. Hopefully more don’t stop dropping off because it’s useful having it all in one app.

**Developer response:** Hey there, thanks for the update. 4 months isn't a very long time, and not all apps update every day. It's more efficient for our devs to push bigger updates less frequently than to push tiny little updates every day. Biometric security is optional, you can always use a pin to log into your account. We have a huge team working on Prism to keep pushing forward, but we always welcome constructive feedback from our users! Thanks again for reaching out! If you have any specific issues or feedback, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team via Help & Support in the app and they will happily pass it on to our dev team!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t sync

*2022-03-17, version 3.4.2*

As everyone keeps saying, accounts that have been added and approved are now constantly requiring user attention and not syncing. No log in credentials have changed so I don’t understand the disconnect. It appears that several other reviewers have stated the Same problem to which the developer responds please share which accounts…. Going to go out on a limb and say all of them! It is mentioned in the reviews countless times! I wish the developer would take accountability instead of making it out to be a user error. When so many people have said the same thing, it sounds like a problem within the app to me! What is the point of the app if none of your uploaded accounts can be synced? I pay my bills separately and then have to go back to prism to mark them paid. Why bother? Not to mention bills seem to just get dropped from prism. If I have to log in every time, why not go straight to the billers app that saves my login info? Very frustrated with prism….doesn’t not perform the job it advertises.

### 1/5 — Deleted feedback, poor UI

*2021-12-16, version 3.4.2*

For some reason negative reviews for this app were deleted, including mine. This app boasts of being award winning when it was the old version that won awards, this app has won zero awards. This is the worst Interface I’ve ever used. I have a phone with a big screen but so much space is wasted I can only see three bills on my screen at a time. Today’s bill shows the amount, and above the bill is a summary of todays bills, which is one bill, with the same about shown…it is pointless to show all my bills twice. There is a large bar graph at the top of the screen but it isn’t really clear what it is a bar graph of, money spent, I think but the bar graph isn’t that useful, the dollar amounts of bill and expected income are show and that’s how most people understand bills not a bar graph-who would ask for a that?

I’m happy that the math errors that were rampant in this new version have been fixed but I still check the math because I don’t trust this app. I can’t recommend it to friends, it looks like it was designed with crayons.

### 1/5 — Use to be great

*2021-05-30, version 3.1.1*

Update: since the most recent update that was suppose to fix things- my bills won’t link anymore tells me that the login info isn’t a match even though I can login on the website and pay the bill with the same info. It doesn’t let you try to sign in again unless you delete the bill and try again. I’ve had this app since 2014... this has been a huge hit to me trying to reorganize my bills when the original version should have just been left the way it was. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

This app was awesome until the big update. Now hardly any of my bills will sync so I have no idea when my bills are due. My Home Screen is full of a list of bills that won’t sync instead of what’s currently due like it should be. If I actually get my accounts to sync they won’t stay synced. It’s super annoying bc I’ve been so use to this app working and being able to pay my bills quickly and conveniently in one place and now I’ve been late on 2 bills because they said they were paid and 3 days later it said the payment was cancelled. I’m on the look for a different app unfortunately.

### 1/5 — Update is junk

*2021-03-14, version 3.0.43*

I had used Prism (pre-update) to successfully track and pay bills throughout the month. It was still valuable even though over the last few years some companies implemented 2 factor authentication and Prism integration failed. It was a minor nuisance to have to pay outside of the app since I would still be able to see when things were coming due.

This new update, however, has killed the benefit of a bill tracking app. I can’t see more than a few bills at a time now. I can’t link billers or my bank account that were able to be linked prior to the update. As other reviewers have mentioned, the largest button on the landing page is “add biller.” Not sure how often the devs think this action will occur, but it is a bit absurd that THAT function is the most prominent. Some may find the list of accounts on the landing page helpful, but I certainly don’t. I like the visibility, but again... this is a bill pay app. I would prefer to see my bills. Even the “all bills” view doesn’t display more than a handful of bills at a time. I miss the old view where it was a no frills color coded list. I appreciated a running “spent” and “upcoming” total so that I could see at any given moment where I stood.

The best parts of the previous app are gone. The new version is junk and is more frustrating than helpful.

### 1/5 — No longer working right, and causing issues

*2021-02-19, version 3.0.28*

Recently, I’ve had issues with billers having issues with the platform. I make a payment, and don’t see the notification that prism canceled the payment because an issue with the biller...and I end up being late on the payment. This was a great app when I first started using it. It was nice to have everything in one place, where I was able to pay them...without having to visit multiple websites. Kept my life organized and worry free, but since it’s been having more and more issues, the more I’m missing payments, I’m going back to how I used to do things. Half my billers don’t work anymore, so I’m back to manually paying through each billers website.

I also don’t like the new update. It’s not very user friendly, and hard to navigate. It was fine before. I also liked it keeping a tally of how much I was paying out, but it doesn’t do that now. It has some numbers at the top, but they don’t match what they should be.

I’m on my last limb here, and working on trying to find something else to use. The app just isn’t what I need anymore, and the latest changes have not been helpful.

### 1/5 — Hate the redesign

*2021-02-14, version 3.0.24*

People hate change, but if it’s a good change, people will come around. Unfortunately I don’t think this will be the case for the last redesign. A few things I really hate about the new design: 1) defaults to home instead of bills (which was and should be the main focus), 2) bills don’t sync consistently and so there is a possibility that you could miss a payment (to be fair this was a problem before, but it didn’t get any better), 3) on the iPad, it doesn’t rotate the format properly (but at least it has a landscape view now, it didn’t before), 4) the general format - it just seemed so much more intuitive before, but the aesthetic is not as appealing either, although perhaps it’ll grow on me. There are a number of minor things I miss like the list of months across the top so you could jump to future months without having to scroll through each month. Others have noted a number of other missing features as well that I totally agree with, so I won’t rehash those here. I’ll give Prism a little longer to see if they fix some of the issues and make additional improvements, but I’ll be shopping around for a new alternative just in case.

### 1/5 — WAS a great app...then the update happened

*2021-02-13, version 3.0.24*

I used this app religiously to keep up with my bills and make sure I paid them on time. I have several credit cards (bad decisions in my younger years lol) so it was easy to manage on Prism to make sure I didn’t forget one. It was great and helped me keep due dates and payments in order...
Then the update happened...
First launching the app after the update was a shock. I was having to get reacquainted with the service, learn where things were moved to, etc. I thought maybe give it some time, I’ll adjust. Well, then I have accounts getting disconnected from Prism; some of which I can’t recover the log in information because the accounts are closed and I don’t have the card (not Prism’s fault for me not still having that; just inconvenient when it’s been connected for over 2 years and after update it’s disconnected). Some I can’t even restore connection to. It also seems like I get a lot less alerts about bills being due or when they’re ready to view/schedule payment.
Overall, my Prism experience went from totally organized and smooth...to disarray. Really disappointed in the update.

### 5/5 — This App Saves Time and Eliminates Headaches

*2021-09-27, version 3.3.3*

Update: Changed review to 5 stars. No more crashes!

Always loved using Prism. Unfortunately, as an iOS 15 beta user, I was unable to use the app. I used Mint until the beta ended. Mint is decent, but the bills weren’t as easy to access as Prism. Mint is focused more on investing. Grateful to use this app once again. Almost all of my bills sync fine, except for Capital One(I know Prism is working on a fix), and Apple Card by Goldman Sachs. I sent a message to their support regarding Apple Card. They are very quick at responding. I like the ease of being able to contact customer support, especially when it’s associated with my finances. I would have given the app 5 stars, but every once in a while, the app crashes. Maybe it’s due to the new iOS. I will gladly update to 5 stars once the seldom crashes stop. Other than that, I highly recommend this app for keeping track of your bills, over all other apps I’ve tried.

**Developer response:** Hey AJ! Thank you so much for this honest review and star update!! We always love to know that Prism is helping our users be the absolute best they can be when it comes to their finances!! Thanks again! 🌟😎💖

### 5/5 — Updated Review: Loved the old version, LOVE the new version

*2021-04-15, version 3.0.49*

Update: when the first new update came out a few months ago, I was severely disappointed with the status of the app. I wrote my original review and then got the normal response of “oh thank you, we will work on the app....blah blah blah.” WELL, this new developer really looked at the feedback and fixed the issues occurring!! All of my complaints were fixed and then some! Great work and this app is fantastic and SO EASY to use and keep track of all of my finances!!! Thank you so much for all of the hard work and the great app!!

Original post: When searching for weeks a year or two ago, I came upon the Prism to help align my husband and I on our monthly finances. I would use the app each day and it would help me stay on top of our bills without missing anything.
Unfortunately the app was updated to a new design and now I’m searching for a new app. Don’t get me wrong, the design is nice, especially with the new calendar feature, but there are so many bugs. I can’t update the amount due on existing bills, can’t view past bills paid, and the help section just sends you to blank screens when you get to certain topics. Tried contacting to figure out the issue but just got sent to another blank screen.
Looks like I need to find a new app....

**Developer response:** Hey! Thank you for the glowing review 😁 It is our sincere hope that our users notice the changes we're implementing like you did. We really are working hard refining Prism using the ideas and suggestions our users provide us. It's one thing to say we're going to fix or improve things. It's another challenge altogether to SHOW you we are doing that, and that's a challenge we're committed to overcoming and showcasing to people who matter the most; our users. We're glad you're loving our new look, but if you do have any other feedback or suggestions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and let us know so we can work on that!

### 5/5 — Best financial app, period

*2021-02-08, version 3.0.22*

I’ve been using Prism for years to track, pay, and manage my bills. The app has performed flawlessly, saving me potentially hundreds of dollars over the years in late fees, overdraft charges, and interest payments. If you have bills (who doesn’t?), you need to use this app. Hands-down the most useful money-related app on my phone.

That being said, I’m not loving the new interface. The previous version worked just fine, and now a lot of features have been unnecessarily moved, and I’m having to learn how to use the app all over again. The “cards” interface is just...not helpful. None of the changes are improvements, and nothing has been refined. It’s made a trusty app more difficult to use, as it’s not as intuitive as the previous version. I don’t see the reason for the changes, and at the end of the day, I just flat-out don’t like it.

That being said, UI design aside, I’m absolutely going to continue using the app because it’s still the best tool for the job. I still rated 5 stars because the app still does what it’s meant to do- allow you to track, pay, and manage all of your bills in one app.

### 5/5 — Not a fan of the update

*2021-02-04, version 3.0.21*

(Update) app is getting better, but some of the refresh options of figuring out how old the data is on the app is hard to find. I’ll give 5 starts once I see this app make a come back, I can’t trust what I see yet, and find myself going out of the app to confirm payments or make them

I have been a fan of this app for years, and with all its problems it was a superb app and has helped me get my finances in order, so I gotta thank the team for that. I will say the new update has made me want to leave the app since information is very hrs to find, there is no clear idea where I stand debt/credit wise and I can’t get a clear view of my expenses... I will stick around because these people do good work but if things don’t improve I sadly will have to jump ship.

### 5/5 — Indispensable App!

*2020-03-13, version 2.12.276*

In over a decade of iPhone use, I am rarely moved to write a review, but...
This app is wonderful. It helps me keep tack of all of my bills and these days, with à la cart TV service subscriptions, paperless and paper billing, and seemingly everything requiring a subscription or membership, that’s no small task. Prism connects to everything and if they don’t, you can do it manually. I haven’t had a checkbook in years, but somethings are slow to change like car payments and rent. Prism turned a trip to the bank into the click of a button. I now can see a clear forecast of upcoming expenses each week and take care of them at my leisure. I never forget about a bill until the last minute anymore either. I highly recommend Prism. They also seem to have a team that add access to popular services regularly as well. Prism is well maintained and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Makes organizing bills easy

*2019-11-04, version 2.12.251*

Have been using this 1 month. Connects to 90% of my billers, others are small rural companies. Lays out all my bills and paydays in an easy to read format. Gives me a weekly summary, and notifications of billing on my phone. I don’t use a lot of technology, because sometimes it just complicates things. Prism really is SIMPLE to use for tracking, organizing and even paying bills. A huge upgrade from my monthly 3x5 index cards I used to organize my bills with lol. Being able to see at a glance what bills are due and when, corresponding with paydays has allowed me to better budget my money and even have extra to start a savings account. Less stress, organization, and extra money is what prism means to me. I highly recommend, thanks Prism team! Also, this is the first app I have felt strongly enough about to review!

### 5/5 — Free and awesome

*2019-05-07, version 2.12.225*

This app is the go to if your looking for a way to get your bills/accounts in one place. I previously used mint and to me it was the best out there compared to competitors until a friend recommended prism. It is by far the easiest app ever. Set up the first time around took about 30 minutes or some but I set up everything at once. Rather than logging in several apps, I know pay all my bills through prism. The app is free which I like because personally I wouldn’t pay for a bill pay service when banks offer them free however they do give you the option to tip them which I’m totally okay with. No crazy adds or asking for you to buy a premium version every other log in just simple, customizable, and straight tot the point. I like the breakdown of the bills by month and it allows me to see what is do within my biweekly pay period so I can know what to set aside. Try it! I’m telling everyone of all ages to try prism! Just keep it free.

### 5/5 — A must have for paying bills!!

*2019-01-28, version 2.12.172*

I love this app. It keeps everything in one place. No trying to remember what is due and if it can be paid with this paycheck. I can see everything and plan easily so that I can pay each bill and pay them on time. The app is very convenient and simple to use. Keeps up with payments and confirmation numbers. Shows you the balance of each card. Has a calendar to show when a bill is due and shows you your pay days. I am amazed how user friendly this app is and that it is free to use. It makes life simpler. Click and pay bills. Simple and easy. Awesome app and features. Can’t wait to see what they add next. Hopefully they add a set balance for like bills you have to add in manually. Thanks guys for this app. I greatly appreciate your work and effort put into making this app!!

### 5/5 — No More Late Payments!

*2018-12-19, version 2.12.153*

In the past the only way I could consistently pay my bills on time was to pay them immediately upon receiving them. If I waited it never failed something would end up getting paid late or missed all together. Even when I paid on time it usually was a minimum payment of just some guess at what I should pay rather than any kind of budgeting. My first app that I started to use and helped me out immensely was Pageonce (now called Mint Bills) it was a game changer for me untill they reworked it’s format. It does a lot of stuff but for me it’s just confusing. Prism is more like Mint used to be, straight forward, here are your bills in a list or calendar form so you can easily see whats due now and what’s coming up. They keep improving it but they have held on to a simple, easy at a glance, format. The only thing I would like to see is the ability to manually sync all accounts at once. Not a big thing but would allow me to retain some of my laziness ;) Bottom line, this app is why I haven’t had a late payment in years! Thanks Prism!

### 5/5 — Most important App I have by far!

*2018-11-22, version 2.12.144*

Most of us have tons of bills, ie. Mortgage/Rent payments, electric, water, gas, garbage, internet, phone bills, insurance, car payments, etc... if you’re like me and are extremely organized (or want to be) when it comes to staying on top of your finances then this app is your lifesaver! I have been using Prisim for a few years now and it has kept me on top of all my bills so that I know at a glance what bills are due now, this week, this month, etc. I can see what bills have been paid and what bills are scheduled to be paid. I can see the balances in all of my checking accounts etc. Most importantly, the app is extremely easy to use. My life has been made much less chaotic due to Prisim. Definitely give it a try, but take your time setting it up and put as many bills as you can in there. If you have reoccurring bills, it will always let you know when they are coming due and when you need to pay them. Its absolutely fantastic. Kudos Prisim!
