### 3/5 — It’s a nice game!

*2020-09-09, version 1.1*

I love games like this.

Very relaxing and interesting to pick away at an object causing it to unfold.

The graphics are crisp accompanied with a nice ambient soundtrack. Mmm. ^^

I felt the game was a little short. Finished within the hour.
I last two levels felt rushed and the dev just wanted to get the project finished.
This game didn’t get hard enough. A challenge would have been epic. A lot of potential for that but didn’t quite make it to ‘puzzler’, I’d say.

The controls are also mega fiddly. Probably much better off playing on the tablet. Rotating an object/pattern make for an unpredictable camera a fair amount of the time. Nothing worth ripping your hair out over though. It is what it is and you’re alright with it.. kinda..

It’s an interesting play. I say give it a go.

### 4/5 — Great but short with low FPS

*2020-08-22, version 1.1*

Prism overcomes language barriers, great for all ages, no time limits, no steep learning curve and not difficult. Im playing on IPad mini 4 but im not getting 60FPS, maybe 20. And the game is 4 levels in four hub levels. Short. Worth 6$ yes, but be real with expectations.

### 4/5 — Glitches

*2020-06-18, version 1.1*

The reason I rated this 4 stars is because this game has Crashes and Sound Glitches, you can hear a sound that happens when you click on an object multiple times if you keep clicking on that object. If you can please fix those crashes and glitches, I’ll be very happy and I’ll add that 5th star. “Please”!

### 3/5 — .

*2020-01-28, version 1.1*

This game appears to be about activating a series of planet destroying super weapons, which is odd given the tone. The controls don’t work very well and it’s very frustrating, whilst the puzzles often aren’t even really puzzles as it pretty much just tells you what to do each time

### 2/5 — Great concept, but poor execution

*2019-06-21, version 1.1*

I was really enjoying the fun and relaxing tone to this game, until... the 12 level consistently crashed my device (last level in pentagon). That’s why this game only gets two stars. Woof.

### 2/5 — That was the end???

*2019-05-26, version 1.1*

After going through the triangle, square, and pentagon I fully expected a hexagon. When it didn’t materialize, and the game was over, I have to admit getting a bit annoyed. There really isn’t any enjoyment in repeating the puzzles so would have loved a few more puzzles. It would have made more sense to stop at the octagon heheh. In the end it was fun while it lasted.

### 3/5 — Lacking polish

*2019-05-16, version 1.1*

Nice idea, interesting puzzles, but overall execution is quite dated now. Vectors not sharp. Graphics in general a little fuzzy. Not optimised for X or Xs screens. Controls a little imprecise.

In general, OK, but not great.

### 4/5 — wonderful concept, great gameplay

*2019-04-10, version 1.1*

Prism is like an abstract geometrical version of The Room, in which 3d shapes unfold magically in response to the player solving mini puzzles. Some might find the puzzles too simple, but I found the game remarkably pleasing. The ambient music, space-opera art style, and mildly challenging puzzles combine to make an engaging yet relaxing experience. Played right before bedtime, it might give you nice dreams.

Like The Room series, this game makes excellent use of the touch screen. Manipulation of the objects floating in space feels natural and intuitive. I disagree with a reviewer who found the controls enraging; I found them immediately sensible and even immersive at times, as if I were really touching and spinning a 3d object. Control surfaces, sliders and switches are distinctively marked so one never has to hunt for them too long and I don’t recollect any of those maddening moments when I have no idea what the game designer wants me to do!

I only with-held one star, for the following reasons: 1) on my iPad pro I see occasional ghost artifacts, like vertex markers, which don’t seem to be part of the puzzle and are a little distracting. 2) some of the puzzles require 3 or even 4 fingers at once to solve, which feels rather awkward and caused me brief moments of frustration — I would prefer the puzzle to be intellectual rather than finger-tangling. 3) the puzzles don’t smoothly escalate in difficulty as one progresses; some are harder than others but it feels almost random. 4) it would be nice if it were longer; seemed a little short, but on the other hand I think this one is eminently re-playable for the pleasure of unfolding the shapes.

The “unfolding” or “onion-peeling” style of progress is a very interesting alternative to the “ladder,” “map,” “wave” and other traditional models of progress in gameplay. I hope to see more games out there which draw the player deeper into an unfolding structure. While The Room takes the cake for neo-Victorian atmosphere and rococo surfaces, Prism offers many of the same thrills in a lightweight, hypnotic, peaceful package with no burden of narrative or need to be suspenseful or scary. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — Beautiful Game

*2019-04-04, version 1.1*

It’s a gorgeous looking game. I liked the flow of increase in challenge. My only concern was the flashes of light as you swivel around, it was a little bright I had to turn my screen light all the way down. Other than that awesome game!

### 5/5 — More levels please

*2019-03-26, version 1.1*

The game is amazing with fantastic graphics but more levels please. I have already finished it

### 5/5 — Very relaxing to play.

*2019-03-20, version 1.1*

I loved playing this game, very relaxing with fantastic graphics! Can we have more of the same please!

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2019-02-18, version 1.1*

One of thee most relaxing and mesmerizing game apps I’ve ever played. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — I love it

*2019-02-16, version 1.1*

I am love in it it is a great game

### 4/5 — A tranquil puzzle game

*2019-02-14, version 1.1*

_PRISM overall does a good job of teaching you how to play it simply through visual cues (some did confuse me at first, but that’s me). The graphics have a kind of sunlit outer space vibe, if that makes sense. A calming sort of puzzle.

### 5/5 — Relaxing

*2019-02-10, version 1.1*

Very soothing, especially for a guy who loves geometry and trigonometry.

### 5/5 — Loved it! Almost didn’t try because of neg reviews

*2019-02-06*

This is a really cool game! The graphics are amazing and the puzzles challenging but eventually be worked out if you stick with it. And not in a terribly frustrating sort of way. It’s more like change your thinking and you find the solution. My biggest tip: if what you have tried and tried a puzzle and it still isn’t working, try something different. The puzzles are very forgiving. Great job dev!

### 1/5 — POPUP SURVEY

*2025-01-08, version 1.1*

I’m deleting this app from my computer, consumers need to take control back, you used to just pay for an app one time it was yours, now its monthly & everyone excepted it, then you pay & you still have to be subjected too something so goodbye 👋

### 1/5 — Stinks

*2019-06-20, version 1.1*

Boring and not fun I don’t like anything about and cant understand ho would.

### 1/5 — Only 4 levels

*2019-04-22, version 1.1*

$2.99 is a lot to pay for only 4 levels.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money

*2019-02-26, version 1.1*

I spent the 3.99 for less than 20 minutes of game play. The controls were so terrible that I rage quit on the third or fourth level. There should be an option to lock the rotation of the shape so you can rotate the figures only.

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2018-08-27, version 1.1*

A good looking game but it crashes. I cannot finish a level

### 1/5 — Extremely hard to turn around the little pieces

*2018-02-11, version 1.1*

Very very very frustrating trying to spin the little pieces. It is a grate hand. Too bad developper aren't good enoυgh to program a better control.
If you are planning on buying this game, dont!

### 1/5 — Don't waste your money

*2017-03-04, version 1.1*

A screen with soothing music and a spinning globe? I was expecting some intro about the game and then some puzzles to enjoy. None of that. I want my money back

### 1/5 — Overall disappointment

*2017-01-19, version 1.1*

The design of the app is beautiful the puzzles are extremely enjoyable fun and aesthetically beautiful. BUT I completed the entire app and less than three hours. All of a sudden screen turns white and then you see the system and the game was over. I was expecting to go onto the next round but then it just brought me back to the beginning of the game. Highly agitating because I enjoy playing it so much. Not worth being a paying app.

### 1/5 — Not long enough

*2016-06-15, version 1.1*

This game is beautiful
I like the concept of this game and the way it flows
However I did not find it challenging at all or long enough

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2016-02-16, version 1.0*

The game's graphics are amazing. But to charge $3.99 for something that can be beaten in a day makes it not worth buying.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Have played this game for years, a CLASSIC!!!

*2024-07-28, version 1.1*

Simple but elegant and immersive concept. Simultaneously stimulating and relaxing.

### 5/5 — Therapeutic

*2021-10-18*

Very relaxing and fun, beautiful aesthetic, great sound, very good design work on the part of the dev. Very calming and captivating experience. I’ve not beat it yet, but from what I can tell it’s not about difficulty, as much as it is about novelty. Fun game!
Note: it would be nice to have it support different aspect ratios! Seeing the art in full screen on the new iPhones would be very pleasing! :)

### 5/5 — 👍very, very nice!

*2021-09-26, version 1.1*

As an artist I love the designs that you have used to create this. Beautiful and peaceful…hard at some points…but interesting to find ways to make it work. You did a great job creating that as a “game”. Thanks;)

### 5/5 — This is beautiful.

*2020-12-26, version 1.1*

Thank you.

### 5/5 — A truly beautiful puzzle

*2020-08-30, version 1.1*

Fantastic 3D graphics make for a really enjoyable game experience. Short, yes, but so original and the right level of progressive challenge. Can’t wait for Prism 2.

### 5/5 — Uhhhhh.........

*2020-06-08, version 1.1*

Guys, you forgot a Platonic solid. It's the Utah teapot. Can you add that shape please

### 5/5 — Pretty little puzzle game

*2020-02-22, version 1.1*

Emphasis on little, but oh so pretty

### 5/5 — Beautiful, thought provoking

*2020-01-05, version 1.1*

Great game when you want to disconnect from the world. Some stages I wasn’t able to figure out until days later when it just came to me. Played it for so long that I can’t tell if it was too short like the other commenters are stating. Very highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Stunning!!

*2019-12-30, version 1.1*

The graphics in this game are unlike any other. They are vibrant without being garish & simple without being simplistic (they have texture in other words). Along with the music they make a great alternative to most other games. The combination allows the player to keep their nerve even as the puzzles in this one of a kind game become increasingly challenging!!
Also makes you think about problems differently to the way most other games do.

### 5/5 — Only game I have.

*2019-06-14, version 1.1*

Cool and masterful. Makes you feel like a creator
