### 1/5 — Have never written a review for an app before

*2026-05-12, version 1.0.24*

I’ve never reviewed an app before, however, I am willing to stoop that low for this hot garbage of an app. Plaid is a joke to use on here. Have been paying my rent through debit card with their lousy $6.99 fee. Out of the blue, my debit card is flagged as, “possible fraud” along with many other residents at my complex. Had to order checks to pay my rent. Absolutely despise this app lol.

### 1/5 — Horrible fees

*2026-05-04, version 1.0.24*

Rent management apps don’t get worse than this. If your rental agency uses this company I suggest moving.

### 1/5 — SCAM COMPANY

*2026-05-01, version 1.0.24*

They will auto enroll you into a $10/month credit reporting charge. Watch what they are charging you

### 1/5 — Not Great

*2026-04-30, version 1.0.24*

I’m not sure why the app doesn’t consider a JPEG taken with an iPhone camera to be an image file. The app doesn’t allow attaching JPEGs to requests

### 1/5 — PLAID SUCKS

*2026-04-07, version 1.0.24*

I really hate that we cannot add our banks manually. It doesn’t let me add or find my bank and would take forever loading when trying to connect with my login. Not to mention there’s no acceptance on money orders which sucks!

### 1/5 — I don’t leave reviews but I have to for this app.

*2026-04-01, version 1.0.24*

I have to say this is the worst app I have ever used. I work in tech and work with apps and this app is garbage and makes it the biggest problem to just pay rent. I have been trying all day to pay rent and Plaid doesn’t want to connect to Prisma and just so many bugs (FYI this is a problem that happens every month). So what do I do, I call tech support (which is just someone in India, that cuts me off and doesn’t know how the software works). I can’t believe my apartment complex switch from their previous apartment software (that worked) for this garbage of a software. Here I am trying to pay and give them money and they don’t want me to pay (I guess they just want me to get evicted). I have called my landlords and have advocated for them to switch softwares and stop giving money to this company.

### 1/5 — Prisma Scam portal

*2026-04-01, version 1.0.24*

Garbage app from a company of scammers that tacks on extortionate fees just to pay rent. Prisma needs to be investigated and shut down.

### 1/5 — SUCKS!!!

*2026-04-01, version 1.0.24*

Takes 45 minutes and multiple bank logins to pay rent every month

### 1/5 — Fees and more Fees

*2026-04-01, version 1.0.24*

Why do I need to pay platform fees for a bank transfer. Fat and Greedy.

### 1/5 — Bitcoin would be easier

*2026-03-02, version 1.0.24*

Ridiculous lack of customer service and inability process my bank account

### 1/5 — Very low quality

*2026-03-02, version 1.0.24*

Honestly, I bet a college intern and AI could design a better app. I can’t even pay rent on the first (when it’s due!) because the balance is not posted yet? It feels like the property is trying to pinch pennies and offered the payment platform to the lowest bidder.

### 1/5 — Embarrassingly bad

*2026-03-01, version 1.0.24*

Terrible UI, glitchy and slow, and on top of that it has the gall to charge $2.99 for ACH and check (that’s right physical check) payments.

### 1/5 — The Worst Property Management App Available

*2026-02-13, version 1.0.24*

Today was breaking point. I can’t pay my rent because the system REQUIRES Plaid - yet when I link my bank account it gives me “wrong user name” despite logging in, 2FA and agreeing to terms. Next, they charge you 3.99 to process a bank transfer (which are completely free) and an egregious percentage fee if you want to pay by card (my 1200 rent requires a 75 dollar fee to pay by card). Messaging in the app uses one line, doesn’t wrap text and doesn’t allow you to scroll. So if you require a long message to your property? Good luck! They don’t improve because they don’t HAVE to improve - they rob you blind and make you uncomfortable and make it hard to do anything in the process. I’ve sent an email to my property and property management company to beg them to get off this HORRID platform

### 1/5 — Dumbest portal ever

*2026-02-03, version 1.0.24*

Not user friendly. Two people need their own account even if they are both on the lease to pay the same rent. Customers is also useless.

### 1/5 — Neighbor

*2026-01-31, version 1.0.24*

100% sure the above comment is someone who lives in the same place as myself. I back up everything mentioned.

### 1/5 — Audacity to charge an insane platform fee for a buggy app that doesn’t even work is crazy

*2026-01-29*

First impression is already bad given that this platform was forced onto me by my apartment complex and that this platform charges an insane 3.5% fee + 2$ just to pay rent. That is insane. On top of that this app does not even work at all. I can’t even sign on and the screen is blank once I open it. I’m an iOS engineer and this is unacceptable. The audacity to charge a platform fee when the platform itself is broken and I can’t even use this app to pay rent screams money hungry higher ups that don’t care about the users. I would rate this app a 0/5 if possible. Take this garbage down.

### 1/5 — Seriously a “prisma platform fee”

*2026-01-23, version 1.0.24*

So you’re going to charge 7$ every single time you have to pay rent? So 84$ a year we could have used for something else but instead we have to pay this dumb fee. I rather just write out a check for free to pay the rent than do this. Just another scheme to squeeze more money off the renter.

### 1/5 — Negative Stars if I could

*2026-01-21, version 1.0.24*

The absolute worst app ever! It doesn’t let you update, and if if you delete in order to re-download to get the update, it errors out. Plaid doesn’t let you alter account numbers, and if you have a credit union, most of them require a four digit code in front of your account number for security reasons. Thus you can’t use the auto payment option and on occasion, it rejects your manual push through of payments. then the only other option is checks and there are fees or you can use a credit card which hasn’t even more ridiculous fee. Overall, this is just another way for the property to make more money.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Legit the WORST renters portal I’ve ever used!!

*2026-07-24, version 1.1.2*

Absolute garbage, there’s fees for everything, app is very poorly designed and it doesn’t even show you how much you owe for the month until a few hours before the bill is due

### 1/5 — Use at your own risk!

*2026-07-13, version 1.1.2*

Beware! In my experience, this app is not trustworthy. I set up AutoPay, received an email confirming it was officially enabled, yet my payment never went through. Later, support claimed the AutoPay start date was somehow set to the year 5026 and refused to take responsibility, leaving me with a late fee. I feel completely misled by this app. Use at your own risk.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2026-07-01, version 1.1.2*

Repeatedly fails to detect amount written on checks. Not user friendly or convenient.

### 1/5 — If I could give it negative stars I would

*2026-07-01, version 1.1.2*

This is the worst application for paying rent ever. Out of no where with no notification changed how they see banks and if they deem your bank is unregulated they will ask for a 3.5% fee to pay your rent. This is an $80 fee based on my rent. No warning they just changed it out of nowhere. Customer service is a joke, outsourced to another country. Terrible app! Don’t give them your money if you can help it.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-07-01, version 1.1.2*

Does not save information really slow and inconsistent.

### 1/5 — Debit card is a debit card

*2026-07-01, version 1.1.2*

I am so angry and got stuck paying an extra $50 this month because they said that the Flex debit card since it's a third-party debit card there's an additional $50 fee in order to use it to pay my rent but I have been able to use it for the last 12 months without any problems and extra fees. And now all of a sudden, they said I can't pay with that debit card anymore. It's an additional $50 a month. It's absolutely ridiculous because when you get the fees for having to use that card and then you get Christmas fees and then their additional fees kind of defeats the purpose in having help with your rent so now I can't afford to get help so for that, this company is absolutely horrible and this is exactly why the rich they rich in the poor stay poor.

### 1/5 — Left charges out of my total which resulted in me getting almost evicted

*2026-07-01, version 1.1.2*

The app decided that I hadn’t paid enough even though I had paid the total which it already set, and added more charges

### 1/5 — BEWARE OF PRISMA SCAM - Credit Reporting Scam

*2026-06-16, version 1.1.2*

Prisma is a shady company run out of India (go figure). I was automatically signed up for the service by the property management at my apartment to pay bills and submit maintenance tickets. I never signed any agreement, I never signed into the app, and yet Prisma sent me an email notifying me that I had also been enrolled for their Credit Reporting service for $9.99 per month. This has absolutely nothing to do with resident services at an apartment, and yet they auto enrolled me without my permission. I’m sure they are hoping that most residents won’t notice the coming in and just leave that extra $10 a month charge on that they can continue to rake in profit for something that people don’t want. This is completely unethical, and Prisma, in my mind, is not much different than the typical phone-call scammers that we all know come out of India.

### 1/5 — Including image failure.

*2026-06-15, version 1.1.2*

App not formatted to accept apples default image format. App will not lead to files so a different format could be provided.

### 1/5 — Garbage doesn’t work

*2026-05-28, version 1.1.2*

I tried verifying my email, but I never received the confirmation number. Sucks. Before we had Domuso and was great. What a waste of my time, and the worst part is that is enforced by landlord

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works just fine

*2026-05-29, version 1.1.2*

Idk what everyone is talking about this place is just fine

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2026-03-08, version 1.0.24*

Super easy to pay rent, and message my manger. The points for paying rent was an added bonus.

### 5/5 — New resident portal

*2026-01-02, version 1.0.22*

Super easy set up, talk directly to my leasing office and put in work orders . Same processing fees as always, annoying but the usual.

### 2/5 — Not working

*2026-01-15, version 1.0.22*

My plaid accounts keep disconnecting, and when I try to re-add it just gives an error. Additionally, I can’t even click the maintenance category when trying to submit a maintenance request. It won’t submit without the field so there’s nothing I can do. Fix your app please

### 2/5 — Literally 2 bugfixes away from being ok

*2026-01-02, version 1.0.22*

As a software developer, there are some basic fixes here that would make this app bearable.
- fixing sharing between users: sharing bank accounts and auto-pay is broken
- the “optional max payment” defaults to $0. You can’t label something “optional” and have it default to $0! It should default to Null.

### 2/5 — Functional but UGLY

*2025-09-22*

The app is functional (so far) which is what really matters, but the UI design is absolutely abysmal. It’s unprofessional, bland, and honestly reads like an app designed to steal your information.
