Jainie arrived on time, and was very professional and friendly. She demonstrated the utmost customer service as well. She coached me on breathing while getting my airbrushed makeup since it was my first time getting that done. I loved my airbrushed makeup. My face was flawlessly done. I loved how the makeup was applied. My eyebrows needed sculpting and she asked me if I would like it done as well. Naturally, I trusted her opinion and had it done. My eye makeup was the best I’ve ever had it applied. The blue shadow, eyeliner, and lashes and mascara accentuated my look. Jainie knew how to match my look with my blue gown for the red carpet. Get a notice 36 hours before appointment that there a problem with my payment. Ok. I see it’s an old card. Deleted and added new. Still getting denied. Email customer service who tell me all is good. Nope! Wake up to date of appointment to find out they are cancelled. What a waste of an app. Deleted off my phone. ### 1/5 — No shows are a problem *2025-06-09, version 21.3.1* The biggest issue with Priv is that the ratings of the stylists/artists only incorporate the ones that were completed. If a person no shows (which has happened to me 2 out of 3 times), you are not allowed to pity hat feedback in their review bc the work was never “completed “. Therefore, people can no show or cancel at the last minute and keep their 5 star rating. Because of this and my experience with no shows particularly on this app, I’d be weary of using them for times when you really must have someone show up. They can be unreliable and there are no checks and balances to manage this in the system. Or a way for you, as the customer to know if you are choosing someone who no shows a lot or if you are getting a reliable person. I was told by priv they handle no shows behind the scenes which is probably bc they do not want those negative reviews in public. ### 1/5 — Horrible service *2025-03-16, version 21.2.8* Horrible service. Priv took an hour to find replacement only to say no one’s available. I asked if makeup person could do hair. They said no. Makeup person calls 5 min after start time and learns Priv gave her wrong address. Will be 20 min late to appointment because of Priv. When I mention the already awful experience with Priv, she says she can and does do hair!Awful. Will not use again. ### 1/5 — THE WORST GLAM APP!! USE ANY OTHER *2024-07-27, version 9.8* Priv is the absolute worst glam app. They cancel without notice the pros are fine but anyone who is any good only uses them because they are the only one in that town. If you need make up use style seat glam squad or hit your local salons and makeup counters the girls at MAC have better customer services. I've had this app for YEARS on my phone & EVERY time I open it, it just stays on the all white, loading page that says "PRIV" until I close it out or until it just closes itself out. it's a genius idea/great concept.. just terribly technologically, neglected.. the platform has definitely not been updated or maintained in anyway, & it shows in all the glitches & app-failures. super annoying. I'm finally deleting it after having it over 7 years & never once having a fully functioning app..
