## What is Privacy Notes (Offline)?

Privacy Notes (Offline) is a note-taking app built on one uncompromising rule: your notes never touch a network. There is no cloud, no account, and no sign-up — everything you write, sketch, and attach stays on your device and nowhere else.

Every note is encrypted at rest with strong, device-held keys. Your encryption key lives in the Secure Enclave behind Face ID or Touch ID, with a passphrase as your recovery path. Open the app and you are met by a lock, not a login.

Write in clean, typed rich text, sketch and annotate with Apple Pencil, and add photos as fully encrypted attachments — with location and camera metadata stripped on import. Organize notes into folders and find anything instantly with fast on-device search. When you want a copy, export an encrypted backup you control; nothing is ever uploaded.

Designed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a calm, monochrome interface that gets out of your way. No ads. No analytics. No trackers. No crash reporters. Just a private place to think.
