## What is PrivacyScan?

Find hidden cameras, detect suspicious Bluetooth devices, and scan your local network for unknown equipment. Privacy Scan is the honest privacy scanner built for travelers, Airbnb guests, and anyone who values their personal security.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Most privacy scanner apps fake RF (radio frequency) detection by animating a radar on screen. Your phone cannot detect RF signals. Privacy Scan never shows you fake results.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DETECT
- Hidden cameras using infrared lens reflection detected via your phone camera
- Unknown devices on your WiFi network via mDNS and local network discovery
- Unknown Bluetooth and BLE devices in the area
- Suspicious device names and manufacturer identifiers

A 30-point checklist guides you through a systematic room inspection. Check smoke detectors, power outlets, USB chargers, alarm clocks, picture frames, air purifiers, and more. Print or export a signed report as PDF.

WIFI NETWORK SCANNER
Discover every device connected to your local WiFi network. View device names, manufacturers, IP addresses, and connection details. Identify any device you do not recognize.

BLUETOOTH SCANNER
Detect all Bluetooth and BLE devices in range. View signal strength, device names, and manufacturer data. Useful for finding trackers and hidden transmitters.

IR CAMERA DETECTION
Use your phone camera to spot infrared LEDs used in many covert cameras. Works best in low-light conditions. The front camera (which lacks an IR filter) is recommended for maximum sensitivity.

PRIVACY FIRST
No account required. No data uploaded to any server. All scanning happens entirely on your device.

HONEST LIMITATIONS
This app cannot detect all hidden cameras. Wired cameras, cameras without IR LEDs, and devices using uncommon frequencies may not be detected. A physical inspection is always the most reliable method.
