## What is PrivaLog?

A private diary for the things you don't say out loud.

PrivaLog is a quiet place to write, one day at a time. Open today, put your thoughts into words, and come back whenever you want. No social feed, no streaks, no badges, and no AI reading or writing your journal.

WRITE YOUR DAY

Create one entry for each day, with an optional title, a heading, bold text, and lists. Add a mood, tags, favorites, and, if you want, a place. Focus mode keeps the page simple, and autosave keeps your writing safe as you go.

LOOK BACK WITHOUT THE NOISE

See your month at a glance in the calendar, with a dot on every day you wrote. Browse past entries in a simple timeline, search your diary after unlocking, and use Privacy Mode when you want lists to show dates instead of snippets of your writing.

WORDS ONLY

PrivaLog is deliberately built around writing. There are no photo or video attachments, no public profile, and no feed. Your diary stays a diary.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Entries are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before they leave it. Their key is locked with your diary passphrase using Argon2id. Even your titles, moods, tags, places are encrypted. Your diary passphrase is separate from your account password, and the maker cannot read your diary or reset that passphrase. Servers store your account email, entry dates, technical metadata, and encrypted data, not readable diary text. Encryption is always included, whether you use PrivaLog for free or with Pro.

You can also protect access on your device with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.

OFFLINE WHEN YOU NEED IT

Write without a connection on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Export an encrypted backup, or create readable PDF, Markdown, or JSON copies for your own archive.

PRIVALOG PRO

Every new PrivaLog account includes a 14-day trial of encrypted cloud sync and web access. The trial starts the first time you successfully unlock your diary and does not start a paid subscription.

After the trial, you can keep writing locally on iPhone, iPad, and Mac for free with the same encryption. Entries already synced remain readable on the web. New cloud uploads, multi-device sync, web access for new entries, and encrypted cloud storage require PrivaLog Pro.

Pro helps your diary survive a reinstall, a new phone, or a lost device, and keeps the same diary available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and the web.

Keep your diary passphrase somewhere safe. If you lose it and no unlocked device remains, nobody can recover your diary, including us.

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS

PrivaLog Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: monthly (one month) or yearly (one year). Monthly starts at €2.99, or the equivalent in your App Store region; yearly costs less per month. Your exact price is shown in the purchase sheet before you confirm.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel on iPhone or iPad in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, or in your App Store account settings on Mac. Restore Purchases is available in the app.
