I believe that the work that was put into this app but all the other apps that they have made is extremely well thought out and done in a fashion that makes it easy for the user to customize what they need to study for and what they are having trouble remember for the test. They also have amazing customer support for any questions that you have or any problems you have with the app. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to study for an FAA test and be able to study anywhere at anytime. ### 3/5 — Too repetitive *2017-09-04* Feels like 20-30% of the questions/answers are repeats and is not good for quick studying leading up to your Checkride. Is it accurate? Most likely yes and that's why I'm giving it a 3 instead of a 2. I've liked the other private pilot VFR apps from this company but seems like the content has not been cleaned up enough on this yet. It's also funny to see their responses to users submitting questions - responses seem combative and generally point out how wrong their users are. This is a good work in process but needs to be refined. ### 5/5 — Dauntless RideReady *2017-04-06* This app is wonderful. I'm getting back into flying after twenty years, my instructor suggested your software saying 'there have been some changes in airspace since you last flew(!)'; Dauntless is what he recommends to all his students. I can feel I'm getting smarter already. Seriously, just a short time of review, alternating between, oh, yeah I remember that and huh?, makes it crystal clear the importance of absorbing and retaining this crucial information. I feel very confident about passing my checkride with this app in my arsenal UPDATE: Just passed my oral and checkride!!! ### 1/5 — Complete waste. *2016-09-18* Don't waste your money on this app when you can so much better with sports study buddy for $10. This app is crap software filled with bugs and literally doesn't help for your oral exam at all. On top of everything it's filled with bugs. I want my money back ### 3/5 — Not as Google as Ground School title *2015-08-17* The questions in this app are fine, but it doesn't help you track your status of review very well. The app is unfortunately somewhat defective as well. After updating the first time (which took far longer than downloading the app) all attempts to update would run for a very long time. Then just when it seemed the update was done, the app crashed. This happened on both iPad and iPhone. Finally the app would no longer load because of some database error. ### 5/5 — Excellent Prep *2014-08-21* I purchased other software from Dauntless and it really does help with studying. The other programs helped me get my A&P License and also pass the Private Pilot Knowledge Test. This software does exactly what I want. I am able to flag questions for review with my CFI and I even learned a few things that my CFI hasn't taught me. Keep up the good work. The app is very glitchy, and has a built-in "It's your fault" message that appears when it will not load. The developers were no help either, repeating that it was my fault, "too many apps on my pad." The only way I could get it to load again was to delete the app, then re-install it. It would work until it froze-up the next time. There are poorly written sentences, as stated before.
