Most of these supposed and alleged privacy apps are blatantly falsely advertised but worse they get to deny refunds because Apple has a real problem and bias against and with privacy. Only after buying these "privacy" products that are supposed to keep people from monitoring and Filtering your network activity you receive the prompt which nullifies the very purpose of the product you are trying to purchase. "all network activity on this iPhone may be monitored and filtered" by who? It doesn't say and ask your lawyer what that means. This is the equivalent of selling someone a flying suit only to open the box in front of them and finding a little note stating "in order to use this suit you must accept that suit can not fly" and surprise, no refunds while the seller laughs in your face. ### 1/5 — Until they fix the widget *2026-05-10, version 2.2.12* This will remain at 1 star ### 1/5 — Buggy VPN *2025-12-16* In spite of having a valid subscription it doesn’t work. Even after successful payment, it still shows errors indicating that the operation couldn't be completed. The version has many bugs which makes me wonder why they issued that update. Just to refresh a logo? But who does that? Totally unusable unfortunately. I can't use it as before. The VPN works well and the app makes it easy to use. However, as soon as my current subscription ends, I'll have to find another VPN. I also will NEVER subscribe to ANY service through Apple again. I have finally learned my lesson about paying through third parties. Anytime you have trouble they just point the finger at each other and make it nearly impossible to get what you paid for. I won't be subscribing to TorGuard because, having tried to work with their support team, I am convinced that they care very little about whether or not they provide the service for which I've already paid. ### 1/5 — Continued to Charge after Requesting Account Deletion *2025-08-27, version 2.2.11* I requested my account be deleted back in April, and I recently discovered that they have continued to charge my credit card.
