I can’t even add photos/videos to the app anymore as it freezes and crashes. Interface needs a refresh. The concept behind this app was amazing and it worked really well. I wish the developer would care to fix it for those that paid for it. Also the support email and developer website no longer work. ### 3/5 — Really needs updating... *2021-01-08, version 5.6.1* I loved this app for years. It was the only private photo vault that sync with a third party cloud service well. Problem, it just has not been updated over the years. Problems: 1. It does not support animated gifs (every other photo vault does) 2. You can’t reorganize the order of your album, this is frustrating when you have a lot of album. 3. Import screen is very slow (new this release) Don’t get me wrong it is a great start, just has not keep up, or finished needed features. ### 4/5 — Not playing videos *2020-12-14* Upgraded today. Unfortunately there is no function that allows this so mass imports from various dates in your camera roll are out of sequence. ### 2/5 — Deleted all my pictures *2019-01-24, version 5.5.9* So I was using this app for what it’s obviously meant for and storing all the pictures my boyfriend sends me. I’ve been using it for 4 years and it’s lasted over several phone changes just fine. Went to add something this morning, and surprise! all my pictures were gone. Really irritating as that was obviously the only place those were stored. 2 stars because it did work well for 4 years til this point. They are visible in the Files app with no PIN protection once the phone is unlocked. The app also crashed a lot when I took new photos from within the app. ### 1/5 — Beware, Not Secure!!! *2021-01-23, version 5.6.1* So you think you have a great to take private photos and videos, and it appears that you. Until you open the iOS files folder/icon > go to on my iPhone/iPad > private camera...and there anyone can see thumbnails of all your private photos and videos. They can’t be opened, but they can be seen. Not so private anymore! This needs to be fixed!!! ### 1/5 — No longer a “private” app. *2021-01-22, version 5.6.1* Update: the videos now work but all of the photos now show up in your “Files” app on your phone. Not exactly helpful. Previous issue: App was great until ios14. After that videos no longer worked. Held off on dropping a review until an update was released. Suddenly it stopped launching and any attempt for support or reaching out to the developer is unsuccessful as their site is down or no longer existent. Now I have thousands of files/images tied up in an app that I can’t access. Any attempt to uninstall and re-install would delete my files. It’s unfortunate when developers stop supporting their apps and leave users/their customers out to dry.
