Your Wi-Fi, your internet provider and a crowd of ad trackers can all see what you do online. Windscribe, the private VPN for iPhone and iPad, closes the curtains. One tap hides your IP address, encrypts your connection and blocks ads and trackers. 110 million+ registered users since 2016, and we've been acquired by exactly nobody. WHAT YOU GET • Hide your IP. Websites see one of our servers, not you. It works like a proxy, except everything is encrypted. • Be anywhere. Pick from 135+ cities in 69+ countries, tap, done. • Safe public Wi-Fi. Airport, hotel, coffee shop: your traffic is encrypted before it leaves your phone. Mark a network as Secured and Windscribe turns on automatically every time you join it. • Fewer ads, less tracking. R.O.B.E.R.T., our blocker (yes, he has a name), stops ads, trackers, malware and phishing sites in every app, not just your browser. • Get past blocked networks. Stealth and WStunnel make your connection look like ordinary web traffic at school, at work or in a hotel. • Stay connected. Always On VPN reconnects you when the signal drops or you switch networks. WHERE PEOPLE CONNECT Iceland and Switzerland for the privacy-minded. Germany and France on match day. Japan for anime nights. The US, the UK, Canada and Australia to feel at home anywhere. WHY YOU CAN TRUST US • No identifying logs. We don't keep your IP address, browsing history or DNS queries. We can't share what we don't have. • Our servers run on RAM, so nothing identifying is ever written to disk. • Open-source apps, independent security audits and a public transparency report. • Self-funded. No investors asking us to cash in on your data. PROTOCOLS WireGuard with post-quantum encryption, IKEv2, OpenVPN, and Stealth with AES-256 encryption, plus WStunnel. Let the app pick for you or choose your own. Connect from a widget or with Siri. STARTER AND PRO Starter: 10 GB a month on servers in 10 countries, including the US, the UK, Canada, Germany and France. No credit card. No ads. Pro: no data limit, every location in 69+ countries and port forwarding. No hidden fees. No shady re-billing. This VPN app is free on certain servers but to access all servers you have to pay. Other VPNs claim to work abroad but either cause buffering and shut off after 30 minutes (no use for something which is a minimum of 45 or 90 minutes long) or are blocked because of geographical restrictions (i.e. the VPN doesn’t work). Does not work with all tv apps but does on some. This is not the cheapest paid service available. Once set up it is fairly simple to use when you have selected favourites in the location you use most. I have never run out of data (10Gb) yet. ### 5/5 — O melhor! *2026-10-17* Olha, eu dificilmente encontro um serviço que me satisfaz de forma tão completa como a Windscribe! Meus parabéns! 👏🏻 ### 5/5 — Excellent *2026-10-16, version 3.14.2* Excellent and easy to use every single time. ### 1/5 — Отвратительное приложение *2026-10-13, version 3.14.2* При выключении VPN кнопкой в Центре управления он сразу же сам включается обратно. Никакие изменения настроек не помогают. Категорически не рекомендую. ### 5/5 — Technically prowess and an advanced sense of humor *2026-10-13, version 3.14.2* I’ve used this VPN for over a decade on 6 continents. It works as well as or better than more popular or better known products, which I’ve also used. The only thing they need is a better marketing campaign because they’re a well kept secret. ### 1/5 — No more $3.99 Plan?? *2026-10-11, version 3.14.2* I got a message saying my card couldn’t be charged. Went to my account to see what’s the deal but I only see an option to upgrade pro for $8.99 / month??? Jfc this app has been so buggy lately it’s not worth $70 every year cmon! ### 1/5 — Lost subscription with no warning forced to pay more *2026-10-11* No humans to help only a bot with no solutions **Developer response:** Subscriptions do not vanish for fun. If the App Store receipt or account changed, support needs account details we cannot handle in a review. Contact windscribe.com/support with your username and Apple receipt, and ask the bot to escalate if it is not solving it. ### 5/5 — Fast *2026-10-10, version 3.14.2* Very fast and reliable. I love you❤️ ### 5/5 — Fabulous *2026-10-10* I’ve used it for years. Cannot imagine my life without it. I travel a lot and this software is brilliant. Worth every penny **Developer response:** Thanks for the continued support. ### 5/5 — Best VPN to have *2026-10-09, version 3.14.2* In my opinion Windscribe is the best hands down. It’s easy to use and gets the job done. It even has a free version with a good amount of vpn security each month. But it’s worth the price to get more control and security. This can be used it would wide to keep your data secure. Choose where you want your location to be simple and easy to use. ## Frequently asked questions about Private VPN Proxy ### What does VPN Windscribe do?
