If you’re going to charge me why can’t you give me the freedom to do this? Just because a wifi is secured doesn’t mean it’s secure on the inside. I first paid for the AT&T mobile security app thinking that it would give me vpn protection on my phone regardless of where I was connected. Wrong. So now I found this one and paid for it too and the vpn logo is no where to be found. Customer service doesn’t even understand how this garbage works. Thanks for taking my money, not answering my questions & giving me a service that doesn’t work. What a waste. ### 1/5 — Hidden Fee *2019-04-12* Not an honest app. You are told it is included in your plan then you sign up to find a $1.99 per month fee, I am deleting it. ### 1/5 — Good, except it thinks WEP is safe *2019-03-13, version 1.0* Like other reviewers, I wish I could enable VPN manually. The network where I am currently living is deprecated WEP, notorious for being outdated and easily hacked. Private WiFi deems it safe, therefore is not activated. This is a huge drawback. Other than that, I am satisfied when it activates at the airport, etc.. Update 3/12/19: So far, this app is useless. VPN has yet to activate and I have been through at least 4 airports and many public Wi-Fi connections that are deemed ‘not secured’ by ATT. Any help/advice from customer support is welcome. I did get earlier feedback from ATT re: how to update router security.
