## What is privid?

privid records videos that stay private — on your device only. No iCloud, no Photos library, no sharing. Ever.

• PIN lock: nothing is visible until you enter your PIN. The app re-locks the moment you leave it.
• On-device only: recordings live in the app's encrypted sandbox, are excluded from iCloud and iTunes backups, and never appear in the Files app or your photo library.
• Record with pause and resume, in portrait or landscape.
• Organize into folders with drag & drop and give recordings custom titles.
• Built-in trimmer: cut out sections and keep edited versions as a version history alongside the original.
• Screen-recording protection: the video is hidden while the screen is being captured.
• Auto-wipe: after repeated wrong PIN entries, all videos are deleted.
