But I was expecting to be able to view and edit the waypoints I saved in the Watch App on my iPhone since both apps have the same name from the same developer. Was let down. ### 3/5 — Won’t Display True North *2023-11-09, version 2.0.1* The app won’t display true north. It just states NA (not available) in the true north slot. And it doesn’t show why it’s NA, or what to adjust to get it to show true north. Having true north is the only reason I downloaded this app. ### 4/5 — Really like but... *2020-02-04, version 2.0.1* I love these apps. Used them for years for rough estimates; however, I wish the margin of errors were smaller. In the compass it is obvious that the margin of error is very conservative, but still would prefer them to be smaller. My one (BIG) issue is when I pick my location, it tells me that I’m off the coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. I am actually in Plano Texas. Fix that and it’s 5 stars+. ### 5/5 — Works Well *2019-01-23, version 1.2.1* Was looking for a vertical compass to tune in a Yagi antenna (mounted on the edge of a two story building, had to stand on tippy toes to read the iPhone compass and bright sunlight didn’t help) but was put off by the price. For a small investment you have a tool that can be used to hang a picture, or conduct a field survey. Well done! ### 5/5 — Bought the bundle on strength of Theodolite *2021-06-12* Downloaded the free version of Theodolite and have been so impressed and facinated with it that I was just back on the appstore and saw the offer to buy the bundle of Craig's apps. Viewed what was on offer and even though the weather app was USA only and I live in the UK I bought the lot. For less than the price of a couple of beers I am going to have hours of fun. I didn't hesitate after reading all the positive reviews of others who are using it professionally - scientific instruments are just a hobby for me (and I now have both a real vintage 100% optical theodolite and a virtual one in my pocket ). ### 5/5 — Magnetic dec *2021-01-10, version 2.0.1* Prior review (smellieboy) is not correct / fair. The Mag dec varies across NZ. Absolutely correct for my location. Seperately, this app very neatly solves the issue with the built in iSO compass - in that the built in one foes not show if it is reading True or Mg. ### 5/5 — Emergency Location Within 10Meters Using UTM-B *2020-08-30, version 2.0.1* I use Compass and Theodite from this developer and am very satisfied going on about 5 years now. Recently I have been encouraging my loved ones to place Pro Compass App on the first page of their iPhone with settings on UTM-B. Now if they have an emergency in today’s unstable environment, they can dial 911 and read the UTM-B number when they don’t know exactly where they are at. Full featured and easy to use. An attractive interface. I especially like having the range of datums available for use when travelling.
