## What is Pro Hearts?

Hearts is a trick-taking card game for four players. Avoid capturing hearts and the dreaded Queen of Spades — each heart scores one point against you, and the Queen costs a brutal 13. But if you're bold enough to capture every heart and the Queen in a single round, you Shoot the Moon, turning the tables on everyone else. The player with the lowest score when any player reaches 100 points wins.

• Imperfect memory — lower-level opponents genuinely forget which cards have been played, while sharper players track the board with near-perfect recall.
• Smart passing — AI now thinks carefully about passing the Queen of Spades based on how well-protected it is, and unloads dangerous high hearts instead of blindly passing low clubs.
• Situational awareness — opponents adapt their aggression based on the score. A player who's falling behind may attempt to shoot the moon.
• No more boneheaded plays — AI will never throw away the Queen of Spades onto a trick it would win, and will smartly dump it when a higher spade takes the trick instead.
• Customize each opponent — choose the difficulty level for all three AI players individually in Settings. Shark requires Premium.
