Often two clips will play at the same time. If trying to play a backing track type clip, the lick clip will play also. If they are supposed to be playing at the same time, then they are not playing at the same beat. The app will not run in landscape mode.. When I attempt to open the "minor pentatonic" backing track, the whole app just disappears. I can't find ANY place on the app OR on their website for support. There IS a link on their site titled "support" but all it does is take you to the top of the website. Fix this or give me my HARD EARNED money back. I won't be giving you free money any more, glad I learned to avoid you sooner than later. ### 1/5 — What's Free? *2012-04-29* Can you use the app somehow by itself? No. I rate it a 0. I'm tired of these seemingly "free" apps advertised that won't do a thing unless you buy something further. It should be advertised as such. Delete. ### 1/5 — Avoid,weak selection,crashes often *2011-12-26* Purchased and then bought some in-apps and it crashed instantly after each lick completed. Had to reinstall and lost all in-apps. After multiple emails and lame tweaking,it worked spoadically. Then the crashes again. Emailed "support" and they said email if I'm still having problems? "Support" lost patience for their own app. Don't waste your time or money. Also,BB,Albert,Stevie,and Jimi sure ain't here. Lessons are thin and basic scale work. ### 2/5 — Interesting licks but beware in-app purchases *2021-08-06, version 4.0* Some potentially useful licks. In-app purchases uncompetively priced. No longer works on iPad 1st generation; according to the developer Apple doesn't support legacy IOS. I have a lot of guitar apps and internet lessons and this is some of the best I have seen. Within seconds you are playing the new licks over the cool backing tracks. Great job, thanks ! ### 5/5 — Amazing learning experience! *2011-12-29* I too had a little problem on the first attempt to download. Tech support was more than helpful and very concerned that their product was being delivered properly etc. It is a free App so I wasn't worried. Man, when I finally got it going (which didn't take long) all I can say is wow. Amazing licks and concepts presented in an easy to understand fashion. As a semi-pro guitarist and instructor with about 20 years behind me I can honestly say this not the usual boring scale work one often finds, but real ready to use material that makes you sound good from the get go. I get that these are not "soundalike" riffs in the style of whoever, fill in the blank, but the actual building blocks of blues/rock improvisation. There is plenty stuff out there that can teach you how to play like your favorite guitarist and that's great, but if you want to learn the nuts and bolts of how it's done regardless of who you love, this little App seems like it will get you on that path. I'm recommending this to all my students. Thanks Dave and Mark, keep the lessons coming! ### 4/5 — Pro Lessons *2012-10-22, version 2.0* Purchased Pro Band and it is fantastic when working withiRig and Amplitube. However while tying out the free Pro Lessons app I can't get it to work with Amplitube and iRig. Even when the Amplitube is set to play in background. Do I have to buy Pro Lesson for it to work in the same way as Pro Band so I can hear my guitar while the lesson is playing?
