## What is Pro?

This product and/or service is not affiliated with, endorsed by or in any way associated with GoPro Inc. or its products and services. GoPro, HERO, and their respective logos are trademarks or registered trademarks of GoPro, Inc.

Using Pro-Mote, you can control multiple GoPro cameras, while getting all the important information about the status of the camera.
You can see
- if the camera is recording
- for how long the camera is recording
- free space of the SD card
- current battery level
And there is even more to see. Pro-Mote will show you an indicator when the microphone adapter or the Media Mod is connected and when an external microphone is connected to them.
For easier visibility, you can set threshold values for the battery and the free memory on the SD card so it will be shown in orange or red when you hit these thresholds.

While you can control every camera on its own, the real power of Pro-Mote comes from the main toolbar. Using the button of the main toolbar you control all cameras at once.
You can
- start and stop recording
- set highlight tags
- connect and disconnect from the cameras
- start and stop locating
- set time and date
- power off the cameras

And you can still use the controls on your camera. When your camera is connected, you can see the status of the recording, even if you have started it directly with the button on the camera. 

What is not in focus of Pro-Mote is the handling of the settings. Pro-Mote only allows to switch between the basic modes like video, photo and multi shot.
All other settings need to be done directly on the camera or with the original GoPro App.

### 5/5 — Klasse App zum Steuern mehrerer GoPros

Habe die App leider erst nach unserer Norwegen Reise entdeckt. Was habe ich mich mit der GoPro Smart Remote und meinen 3 Hero7 auf dem Motorrad rumgequält. Andauernd verloren die Kameras die Verbindung und auf dem winzigen Remote Display kann man es nicht sehen. Diese App löst alle Probleme auf einen Schlag. Man sieht die Zustände aller Kameras und kann jede einzeln oder alle zusammen starten. So muss das sein.

Als Verbesserung würde ich mir lediglich einen noch größeren Aufnahme Button wünschen, damit es mit Handschuhen besser bedienbar ist. Das ist aber „Jammern auf hohem Niveau“ 😅 Vielleicht ginge auch irgend ein richtiger Hardware Button, wie man ihn von Handy Selfi Sticks kennt. Oder irgend ein Hardware Tastenfeld was über Bluetooth angebunden wird.

**Developer response:** Du kannst ja den Lautstärke Knopf vom iPhone zum Starten und Stoppen der Aufnahme verwenden. Und das nutzen auch die "Fernbedienungen" von den Selfie Sticks. Sprich die kannst du auch nutzen. Ich hatte das mal mit einem Bluetooth-Fernbedienung von SP-Gadget getestet. Das hat funktioniert.
Wenn du in den Einstellungen die Option "Aufnahme Signal weiterleiten" aktivierst, dann kannst du auch den Aufnahmeknopf von einer der GoPros verwenden um alle Kameras zu starten. 
Kleine Tücke dabei ist allerdings, das auch das Stopp Signal weitergegeben wird, wenn z.B. eine der Kameras anhält, wenn beispiesweise die Speicherkarte voll ist.

Ich hab mir die App eben geladen und getestet. Die 6€ haben sich definitiv gelohnt. Bin im Besitz von noch 3 12er GoPro’s und weitere Folgen. Sehr geil und weiter so. 10 von 5 möglichen Sterne. Daumen hoch

This app is perfect for simple control and monitoring 4 GoPros mounted on my vehicle. I’m not trying to change settings or anything like that. Just start-stop, on-off, and monitor my cameras. Working flawlessly so far.

Soweit eine sehr schöne App. 
Das einzige, was mich stört, ist, dass auf meinem iPhone XR die allgemeinen Buttons hinter dem Bildschirmrand verschwinden.
Wäre schön, wenn das behoben werden würde.

Habe mich für die App entschieden, da die GoPro Fernbedienung, leider immer mal wieder aussteigt. Da ich sowohl die GoPro 10 als auch die GoPro 11 besitze, ist es einfach geil, entweder die eine, oder die andere, oder gar beide zusammen laufen zulassen. Darüber hinaus kann ich in der App erkennen, welche Kamera gerade aktiv ist. Bin auch gespannt, ob die App per Siri aufgerufen werden kann, und dann problemlos gestartet werden kann. Die App ist eine klare Bereicherung, und der Preis ist völlig okay. Tolle Arbeit….

Ich habe ja schon diverse Remote Hardware gekauft, war aber immer enttäuscht . Mal funktioniert es mal nicht. Dann hab ich das Video auf YouTube gesehen und hab es gleich gekauft und installiert. Mein altes IPhone 8 ist nun meine Fernbedienung für meine vielen Gopros, freu mich schon auf den Frühling. Die nächste Tour wird dann ein Multimediaereignis dank dieser App. Jetzt wenn du noch meine Insta 360 mit in die App einbaust, lege ich noch 50€ drauf !!! 5€ für die App ist viel zu günstig, kannst ruhig 10€ verlangen

**Developer response:** Das SDK von Insta360 habe ich mir schon angesehen und auch schon mit dem Developer Support Kontakt aufgenommen. Habe da aber leider eine Abfuhr bekommen. Genauso wie bei DJI.

Ich durfte die App ja schon ein paar Wochen vor der Veröffentlichung testen. Die App bietet alles, was man benötigt. Start mehrerer Kameras (fast) synchron. Das fast liegt aber an der unterschiedlichen Reaktion der Kameras und vielleicht auch an unterschiedlicher Entfernung der GoPros zum iPhone. Die App bekommt von mir astreine 5 Sterne! Wünsche für ein Update: 1. Da ich normalerweise eine Lesebrille benötige, wäre es schön, wenn man die Reihenfolge der verbundenen Kameras selbst einstellen könnte. So könnte ich mir während der Fahrt besser merken, wo was ist. 2. Der Button ‚immer an‘ sollte an bleiben, wenn er einmal aktiviert wurde. Also auch nach (versehentlichem) Schließen und Neustart der App. 3. Die Kamera vom Kollegen vor mir brauch ich nicht. Ich möchte sie auch nicht sehen. Das irritiert obwohl ich ja eigene Namen vergeben kann. Da wünsche ich mir einen Ignor-Button… 4. Eine Audio-Pegel-Anzeige bei der Aufnahme wäre die Sahnehaube. Weshalb: GoPro Mediamod und Audioadapter mögen es anscheinend nicht, wenn eine Stromversorgung angeschlossen ist bzw. Wenn ein über Zündung geschaltetes Signal ankommt. Manchmal ist dann ein extern angeschlossenes Signal mit Störung oder garnicht vorhanden! Trotzdem ein Riesen Kompliment an den Entwickler, der die App ja aus seiner eigenen Praxis heraus kreiert hat! Top 🔝

You can use the volume buttons of you iPhone to trigger the recording. This allows the use of Bluetooth buttons as well.
You can enable to forward the recording signal of one camera to the others.
