Home Depot sends the leads out to multiple people so even if you respond to it within 15 minutes the app could’ve sent it to someone way before you but you just lost 40 points because you accepted the lead. Also the leads themselves are hit or miss, I bet 20% of the ones I accept even answer the phone. Overall this app won’t keep you busy for leads and is often frustrating to deal with. ### 2/5 — App keeps crashing. *2025-09-10, version 4.11.6* Please fix so I can pick up some jobs. Out of the 50 referrals we have responded to, we have only had about 5 people respond to our voicemails or emails and have only secured 1 job. When I asked the referral program support if the leads are set only to one person they said they are sent out to many people in the program. No one explained to me how this app works. I think the setup is smart. I’ve had no problems. Will use again. ### 5/5 — Scam Service *2026-01-14, version 4.11.19* This is a scam run by Home Depot to get you to sign up. There is no work offered and they just want you to buy your materials from them in the hopes they’ll send you work. I have had my background check done by Lowes/Costco/Walmart for installer services and was never charged for the service. They charged $42+ dollars and label it as “background check” fees so you can’t dispute the charge once you realize it’s a scam. I don’t know should I say thousand times “thanks” to HomeDepot. It’s very good times to work with HD clients, most of them are an elderly people, I charged them as low as possible for my lead. How’s can I do that? I don’t have to pay any fees like Angi, Thumstack. I loved to help my clients, they are polite and very nice to me. Working in the service department I was referring people to the pro referral system and I was a handyman on the side. Limited in my scope and ability. So I went to the contractors board did the schooling took the test got licensed bonded insured. And started helping the customers that I had previously had to refer to others. Yes points are deducted but it isn't to much for as much as I do. I always have thousands of points in my account. I take care of my customers if my work fails I fix it. If my work is good my customers are calling me back 75% of my customers contact me back because they have something else for me to do the others I just may have resolved it. I do a little bit of everything sheet rock repair replace, carpet stretching, tile, kitchens, fences decks doors roof repair skylight installation faucet garbage disposal countertop cutting and installation window replacement yard care networking alarm systems smart device home integration technology specialist. And I’ve gotten a lead and done a job for everyone of them from the Home Depot I have nothing but good things to say when I’ve talked to someone because I had an issue with the system they help me resolve it in a timely, professional and courteous manner thank you Home Depot for being a free app it is truly amazing. Home advisor is always calling me and wants me to pay for leads and I tell them why should I pay for them when I get them freely through the Home Depot.
