The physics are sharp, the table plays true, and once you learn the camera and controls, it’s easy to get hooked.
If you actually understand snooker or pool, this one just feels right.

I’ve downloaded many many billiards games. At one point I had the top 5 billiards apps opened at once toggling back and for comparing each. In the end, this game is by far the best. Real life dynamics, spin and curve works like real world. Only thing missing is a jump shot. Almost perfect. Reason I say almost is because there is always room for improvement. Not sure how they could though.

Jaggies!

I’m using an iPhone with a 460ppi display, but there are still jaggies. Not to mention when playing on iPad with 264ppi. It feels like I’m playing on a screen 10 years ago.

This game is the only one I found on mobile device that can be compared to Shooterspool.

Good graphics, many features, customizable tables, cues and even baize.

It will be perfect if you add iCloud integration.

Just me and the game. It’s hard to find any iPad game that I can just buy and play at my pace. Most of them want time limited boxes and gems and a frenzy of gaming so you spend money to have money in the game. It isn’t free. And it’s not immersive. This is. It’s a good game with lots of options and angles. It’s well thought out and professional. You don’t have to play real people and there are generated names to play that seem to be consistent, not random.

Pros: it’s got excellent mechanics. Lovely choices of equipment and colours. It has opponents and tournaments and league games all single player. It’s all my own and not ‘free to pay’. No ads. Not expensive. Worth what I paid and more.

Room for improvement:
What I think could improve more interesting stuff around the sides. Like clapping and news clips or anything! I don’t see my character other than a cue. Not even a face to give glasses and facial hair or tats. I’m kinda used to having an avatar now so it’s weird not having anything. Same with opponents. It’d be nice if they had a body rather than having a cue in mid air. Although they are nice cues.

It’d be nice to have some challenges and different places. I’ve only completed one tournament though so it’s still early days.

The lining up of the cue would be improved by having a fine adjuster.

Overall it’s really promising so far.
