Well worth buying the full version with both the snooker and the pool. Worth the 5 star rating. Recommended Now 2021 Dropped from 5 to 4 star as, by now, I would have hoped to be able to ‘bend’ the cue ball to get out of a snooker! I’m even using guided lines for the white ball and the object ball. Really disheartening as it’s not realistic to be able to run out every frame as a rookie. I could never think of taking the guided lines off as I would never win a game. Which means I cant improve and bring that knowledge into a real world game. I can’t imagine how hard the next levels could be if rookie seems like expert level. Really disappointing as the game feel of the game aesthetics are amazing. The feel of the how the table plays and the sounds are spot on. Only thing missing is a jump shot. Almost perfect. Reason I say almost is because there is always room for improvement. It’s hard to find any iPad game that I can just buy and play at my pace. Most of them want time limited boxes and gems and a frenzy of gaming so you spend money to have money in the game. It isn’t free. And it’s not immersive. This is. It’s a good game with lots of options and angles. It’s well thought out and professional. You don’t have to play real people and there are generated names to play that seem to be consistent, not random. Pros: it’s got excellent mechanics. Lovely choices of equipment and colours. It has opponents and tournaments and league games all single player. It’s all my own and not ‘free to pay’. No ads. Not expensive. Worth what I paid and more. Room for improvement: What I think could improve more interesting stuff around the sides. Like clapping and news clips or anything! I don’t see my character other than a cue. Not even a face to give glasses and facial hair or tats. I’m kinda used to having an avatar now so it’s weird not having anything. Same with opponents. It’d be nice if they had a body rather than having a cue in mid air. Although they are nice cues. It’d be nice to have some challenges and different places. I’ve only completed one tournament though so it’s still early days. The lining up of the cue would be improved by having a fine adjuster.
