Sometimes when making changes to a schedule or temperature setting, for example, and then hitting save, the app continues to “think”. Fortunately, almost ever time the information is saved. What a downgrade. You can adjust the temperature with WYZE app on the first screen. Sometimes spins and spins…Does app ever get tested with real devices? ### 1/5 — Terrible last updates *2025-07-25* I don’t know who’s deciding how to update your app but please get someone else. Although this app has never been the best, it was way better before the updates that changed the color to white. Since then I can hardly get the temperature settings in the schedule to change without loooong buffering times. Mostly it never does. We have 6 HVACs with these and our next will not be PRO1. Anytime an app takes thirty minutes to change only a temp setting something is terrible wrong. And I know you’re gonna say it’s our WiFi but it cannot be. Our strength and quality are very high and we are only a short distance away from each therm. If you’re looking at buying this app I would look elsewhere. The app is glitchy, it keeps saying WiFi isn’t connected. I’ve reset the WiFi many times. The thermostat app circles and circles (loading) for at least an entire minute before letting you make adjustments. Not comparable with Siri, or HomeKit. I’ve had enough. Installing EcoBee instead of dealing with this garbage. ### 1/5 — Cant sign in to the app??? *2026-07-22* The app is okay, scheduling things is weird but whatever- recently though I can’t even sign in to the app! ### 1/5 — 7 year nightmare *2026-07-02* This thermostat was installed by our HVAC contractor. We have no issues with him, but this thermostat app has been a complete nightmare for seven years. The scheduling is not intuitive. Only gives you two time frames per day that that you can set your schedule and that is, if you can set your schedule, because it’s absolutely impossible to figure out. And the two time frames are within only eight hour periods one in the morning and one at night. Once you said it, you cannot remotely turn it off. You have to set it to a high temperature in order to deactivate. I have only been more confused and gaslit after I call Customer Service. When I call Customer Service, I say hello..how are you and I get silence. There’s no friendliness or warmth and aside from that, when I explain my issue, I come away even more confused and the solutions are never accurate and create more questions. I have been going through this problem because this is a vacation home that’s 1500 miles away and in a Thermostat app one of the most basic things you want is a simple to use scheduling application and this is anything but simple and easy to use. Fortunately, my life is going to change for the better because I have finally come to the decision that I’m gonna get rid of all four of my PRO1 thermostats and switch to Nest. It appears that you have a faulty app and a glitchy scheduling and connectivity set of issues. I just wish your Customer Service reps were more helpful and just a little bit more friendly and honest. ### 1/5 — Bad UX/UI *2026-01-30, version 2.1.6* Back in Mar‘25 we tried this app with the wifi thermostat controller and it was horrible. We just had a tech here today 1/30/25 and app has never been improved. Too many weak interfaces to list here, but the bottom line, we ended up going back to an analog thermostat. Almost a year later and the app is STILL unintuitive, too many steps the change the temperature, doesn’t consistently go from AC to HEAT automatically, like most other units have been doing for decades. I recommend that you DO NOT use this brand or their wifi thermostats. ### 1/5 — Not the best *2026-01-29, version 2.1.6* Not a great app. It consistently will say that it can’t find the wifi signal even though I check the thermostat and it’s still connected to wifi. My A/C tech & I tried to get the thermostat to respond & we were not having any luck. So we called PRO1 & Nate got the call. Kindness & patience matter when dealing with consumers dealing with things that are not responding. And Nate is wonderful!! Not only wonderful, but he knows his “stuff” too 😉. He has responded to all my texts over a week, worked with me trying various scenarios to pinpoint what the issue was. He taught me how to video the screen 🥳. Always respectful & patient…you are the best Nate. Thank you so very much, PRO1 should be very pleased that you are such a great representative of their company. BTW, I am up & running on WiFi ✅. The new app is now much faster when updating the temperature on my thermostat.
