### 1/5 — Horrendous connectivity

*2024-07-28, version 1.0.4*

When it works it's great but 95% of the time my iPhone doesn't connect to the probe.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect well

*2024-07-04*

Waste of money. Only worked a couple of times.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2024-06-16, version 1.0.4*

Wifi does jo work properly

### 1/5 — Probe T

*2024-05-29, version 1.0.4*

Never could get the probe to sync with the app. Returned it the same day. DON’T BUY!!! Made in China…

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2024-03-14, version 1.0.4*

You need to stand by the grill in order for the app connect to the probe via Bluetooth. Then, the probe disconnects continuously. Don’t waste your money

### 1/5 — Horrible App

*2024-01-28, version 1.0.4*

Routinely disconnects itself. Tired of resetting. Using old fashioned instant read thermometer.
Junk app.

### 1/5 — don’t cheap out

*2024-01-21, version 1.0.4*

This is probably the worst item i’ve ever received as a gift. It worked once and you had to be right next to the oven for it to work (the reason to buy a bluetooth probe is to leave the room). The second time I tried to use it, it wouldn’t connect to my phone.

Overall, please don’t cheap out and just buy a meater. I can understand the reviews now they’re quite accurate.

### 1/5 — Poor WiFi connection

*2023-12-03, version 1.0.4*

Only works when I’m a few feet from my grill, other than that it drops connecting. I still have to walk out to my grill to check the temperature. Waste of money.

### 1/5 — Return it now

*2023-11-25, version 1.0.4*

Worst app device ever zero stars if I could. I’m a computer programmer and I’m saying RUN

### 1/5 — Can't connect to your phone

*2023-09-16, version 1.0.3*

OMG, I have a party but thí oen can't connect to the phone. So bad experience

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2023-07-14, version 1.0.3*

Received for Father’s Day. Temperature is accurate. Bluetooth works fine within a 5 foot radius then no probe is found. Very frustrating and hot to have to sit next to the grill !!! Don’t waste your time or money on this

### 1/5 — Had good reviews but won’t work for me

*2023-07-01, version 1.0.3*

If I sit with in a couple feet next to the grill it works. Once I go inside my house and only 25ft away it drops off and doesn’t work. Can’t get ahold of anyone for help. Same as the 79.00 and 99.00 ones but is just crappy. 69.00 down the tubes so will send back if I don’t get assistance soon.

### 1/5 — App does not support hardware

*2023-06-21, version 1.0.3*

The manual for the probes I bought had a QR code for this app. The probe is supposed to have two sensors, one on the tip that goes into the meat to measure internal temp and one on the other end to measure the ambient temp of the grill or oven. There is no display on the app for ambient temperature. The product also claims to predict cooking time but this is also missing from the app. Hopefully they can fix the app to support the hardware. As it is now the probe does not operate as advertised.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2026-02-15, version 1.0.4*

Whether the probe turns itself on when removed from the base is hit or miss.

### 1/5 — Lost connection

*2026-02-13, version 1.0.4*

Kept losing connection before the cook was finished I couldn’t even connect to. It would not buy again.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2025-12-29, version 1.0.4*

Absolutely terrible. Can’t connect

### 1/5 — Not great

*2025-12-25, version 1.0.4*

Product worked the first day and not once since! Won’t show on app to connect. Won’t show up on iPhone Bluetooth connection. Just charges. That’s all.

### 1/5 — Device & App are a Scam

*2025-10-18, version 1.0.4*

The device doesn’t connect the the App and the whole thing appears to be a scam associated with fake products. Unfortunately most people will only read this after they have bought the fake product and it will be too late.

### 1/5 — Poor product

*2025-01-19, version 1.0.4*

Only worked one time and then failed. Zero stars

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Bad!

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good distance

*2023-09-07, version 1.0.3*

I’ve seen reviews that said their probes didn’t go very far, and that may be true… but I just got mine delivered, charged it and set the probe out by my smoker in the backyard. Then I walked into and through my house, across my front yard and started walking down the street. I got to about 1/3 of the way across my neighbors yard (on the sidewalk) before it lost connection. I’d say that’s about 125-150 ft.

Not bad for me. My other wireless thermometer (which has a box that the probes plug into) usually goes to the end of our street (4 houses) before it loses connection. But, the 120’ - 150’ is all I’ll need when im at home. If I ever leave to go somewhere, this probe will drop 3 houses sooner. No problem.

### 3/5 — works ok but timer’s minute keeps going past 60

*2025-02-01, version 1.0.4*

This app works in conjunction with their bluetooth temp gauge (which is great by the way, it withstands oven, grill and smoker’s temperature). The app generally works ok, with some presets that’s handy to know when your meat is ready. The only glitch so far that i can see is when the timer hits 60 minutes, it increases the hour by 1 but it doesn’t reset the minute to 0. For example, 1 hour and 45 minutes is shown as 1:105:00. 2 hours is shown as 2:120:00. It is not impacting at all if you are cooking with a target temperature in mind. But if you are cooking based on time, it is not going to be a great experience, might even lead to errors!

### 2/5 — Probe Temp

*2023-12-15, version 1.0.4*

When a brisket takes up to 16 hours to cook a probe that lasts only 3-4 hours is kind of useless
