### 4/5 — Very good but with a flaw

*2026-02-21*

It works very well but it you play it multiple times, it will always crash which is very annoying.

### 2/5 — I Can’t Add Stuff to My Homepage After I wasted 10$!!

*2025-08-24*

I bought premium or whatever for 10$ to add little games I made to my home screen like it said I could. When I went to “share to home screen” it wasn’t there! It wouldn’t show “share to Home Screen” like it said it would. I was extremely disappointed and should have seen that it was a scam or something. Although I do love coding in JavaScript!

### 2/5 — Clunky and Faulty

*2025-01-22*

I have enjoyed writing Processing programs on my computer for about 3 years now. They are a great way for me to keep my skills polished and make things I can easily show others.

Imagine my joy at finding out there is a way to do this on mobile! I immediately downloaded the app and even paid for the lifetime Pro features. I am now regretting this purchase.

My biggest gripe with the app is just how limited it is. I should have taken it as a sign that ALL of the example projects are only one file long. I have tried to make multi-file projects work, but clearly that feature is just for show.

Typing is also HORRENDOUS! Not only does it not auto-indent for you, but typing towards the middle of the file jumps the viewport to the bottom so you can’t even see what you’re typing.

Overall, I can see that the projects I want to make will not work in this IDE. After reading reviews that are years old, I can see that the developers have abandoned this hot pile of garbage, and the pro content is not worth a single cent.

### 4/5 — Allow basic debugging for free

*2024-09-19*

At least allow free users to have basic debugging and make more complex error debugging for pro users.

### 4/5 — But I’m just

*2024-08-14*

I just wanted a few more

### 2/5 — Ist sein Geld nicht wert.

*2024-08-09*

### 2/5 — A bit disapointed

*2024-01-28*

This version does not support pixelDensity() nor fullScreen() features... My code was not working, to see faulty code, have to suscribe to pro plan... to see that these features were not supported ...

### 2/5 — Bug when using 4 lines using ellipseMode(CORNERS);

*2023-10-22*

When I use the 4 same sized ellipses after using the ellipse mode for corners, it does not draw the 4the line. Also, when I isolate the 4th line to see if I wrote the code wrong, it prints it from the center at the bottom left of the screen

### 3/5 — Nicht schlecht, aber neuerdings mit blödem Bug

*2023-10-12*

### 2/5 — DISAPPOINTMENT

*2022-12-23, version 2.7*

Imagine the least you could do for a Processing app, and you have this app. A huge disappointment. - No local reference (I can open the web reference by myself; it’s NOT THAT MUCH WORK) - No code complete/insight - the console is UNUSABLE for anything more than a single line - Not up to the standard of the current desktop app This is JUNK. PLEASE DO BETTER.

### 3/5 — Good editor, but with a fatal problem

*2022-05-29*

I love the fact that I can use this editor to work on sketches when I don’t have internet available, but several times I’ve had a situation where I’ve done substantial work on a file and found out later that none of my changes were saved and the file has reverted to an earlier version.

### 4/5 — File management error

*2022-05-21, version 2.7*

I absolutely love this app. I greatly appreciate coding apps that work without WiFi, and this is the only one I’ve found for Processing.

A bug I’ve found, however:
I’ll be working on a project, then my phone will fall asleep, I’ll wake it back up, and the changes will be reverted back and I’ll lose up to a few files of work. I’m not sure how or why this happens but I think it’s worth looking into.

Secondly, and this is not a bug, just a design thing, the syntax highlighter highlights “bool” in orange - but the keyword is “boolean”. So a line of code will like this: “boolean flag = false;”
And “bool” will be orange, while “ean” will be white.

### 4/5 — Programming issue and feedback

*2022-03-08*

The app takes longer to depict the results/images/graphics after you type in the code, compared to the typing the same thing on PC, however gives enough space for a person using the app to practice different codes

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Makes you pay to see errors

*2025-02-14*

This is not reasonable at all. Any good IDE would allow you to see your errors or at least your program logs; it becomes incredibly difficult to program. Making you pay for something like that is **Incredibly** absurd. Do not use this unless you must.

### 1/5 — Adding to Home Screen doesn’t work

*2024-10-19*

I purchased a lifetime license because the prospect of adding my own sketches to my home screen appealed to me a lot. Turns out it’s just a web shortcut, and it doesn’t even work!! I follow the steps just as instructed but I don’t get the option on safari to add the Home Screen shortcut, so I just wasted my money for nothing.

### 1/5 — i feel ripped off.

*2024-09-22*

simple things fail silently - just a blank screen.
errors that are trapped lead to an in-app purchase screen without even a hint of where the problem is.
After you buy the upgrade, it might show where the error is and suggests you comment out the offending line. Useless.
This product is scandalously bad and reflects poorly on the real processing software.

### 1/5 — If you don't want heartache, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP

*2024-01-28*

It seemingly randomly reverts progress and there is no save option other than to export the script as a file.

I will not pay for an app that deletes entire functions and classes that I spent days working with.
This seems to happen more often when using multiple .pde tabs, and when switching tabs it often undoes all work done in the previous tab after the new tab was created.

Horrible file management and the data loss is not worth it.

### 1/5 — Won’t run .pde files

*2023-11-30*

If you try to upload pde files and run them, they won’t work.

You have to pay $25 to “unlock” compiler output to see what’s wrong.

I’d rather make my own app than pay tax to see a compiler output.

### 1/5 — Bonne app portable

*2023-02-09*

30,99€ achat unique
3,49€ mensuel ou
9,99€ par an

### 1/5 — One of a Kind Experience

*2022-11-05*

This is the worst experience I’ve seen in my life, excuse my profanity.
  -4th Year Comp Sci Student

### 1/5 — Keine Brauchbaren Fehlermeldungen

*2022-09-11*

Schade.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2022-05-02*

Some functions work. I could draw an ellipse. But others don’t . I could not draw a square. I paid $9.99 for the subscription to see if that would help, and it did not. Total rip off. They took my money and I still don’t have something that works.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Please Add GIF

*2025-06-30, version 2.7*

This is by far the BEST iCompiler not just on apple app store but on the entire internet catering to the iPhone or Mobile device period far as cell phone!!! All it’s missing in my personal opinion is:

1.) GIF for animating sprites!

2.) The Ability to Rename my (p5.js) Projects!

3.) Ability to *Duplicate* a Project!

4.) And a more robust saving system to ensure my miner but tedious code corrections remain secure and doesn’t erase from data over time while I’m unaware (which unfortunately happens more often than what is convenient)!

5.) Oh and an undo / redo button would be absolutely delightful right now!!!

6.) And your conversion to home app (process) doesn’t work well!

I’ll even go as far to say if you made all these updates and made a one time lifetime payment to acquire them and make a notice when we log in showing it’s available! I personally would pay for it!

Note: A monthly fee would not work because you’d have a lot of angry customers (programmers) who would be unable to compile projects with features they can no longer afford to utilize like GIF etc!

I really hope read this message and know that I mean well by it! Congratulations on your hard work and success thus far! Its a slow market but quality is rare to come by and trust me this is the most solid compiler for javascript probably on earth! And mist wont realize how much they need this until they have lol!!! And like why hasn’t Someone been created this!

Try to hurry up and get those updates before the A.I. wave comes by! Everyone is looking to test their codes more on their phones! And all you need is one good wave and one good shout out and BOOM!

Literally, Foot on the gas for life!

It’s just like that!

Peace & Blessings.

### 5/5 — Best App for p5js ....

*2024-08-11*

This is the best app by far for p5js scripts especially for ipad . Keep up the good work..

### 5/5 — I hope that development gets going again

*2024-04-06*

It's a shame that this great app hasn't been developed for some time. I also bought the annual subscription to support the developers, but I have now canceled it for the time being. A modern file system is really needed. It should be possible to load and edit files directly from the cloud or from "Files". A rename function would be great. Some functions are not supported, but the app is really good for sketching on the go. I hope that development gets going again. Thank you!

Very nice and good luck

### 5/5 — It works :D

*2023-03-03*

I was able to copy paste the little game I made using my school computers Processing onto my iPad. Now I can show my family the progress I’ve made!

### 5/5 — Absolutely terrific

*2021-07-09*

This is a great app for quick cool processing and p5 sketches, i have a bunch of sketches on my phone, probably more than i have anywhere else, super great app i recommend it wholeheartedly!

### 5/5 — Super ich liebs

Top

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2021-03-05*

I’ve used this for a few Processing sketches with p5js on my iPad Pro (with keyboard folio) and it works really well. My 3yo daughter loves watching and playing with some of the examples and code I’ve written too.

Exporting of projects just got added too, so I can shuffle off my code to my desktop for finishing off.

### 5/5 — Please, could you add themes to choose?

*2021-03-04*

Hello! Thank you very much for this great app, I love it!
Could you add some more code themes to choose, please?
