## What is ProCom?

You can now control the base unit of the Protect alarm system conveniently by using your smartphone.
You can choose from the following functions: Alarm mode, Inactive mode, At Home mode, Silent mode, Room Monitoring mode and Speakerphone mode.
(There must be a SIM card in the base unit. Consequential costs may ensue through voice calls.)

Quick Guide:
Before you can use the ProCom App voice call feature on the base unit of the alarm system, you must enter a phone number and PIN of the key lock in the base unit.
- Tip on Settings (top left)
- Enter the phone number of the SIM card which you have inserted in the base unit of the alarm system.
- Enter the PIN number of the key lock of the alarm system’s base unit.
- Tip on the tick (top right corner) to confirm your entries.

Ich habe schon eine ältere Alarmanlage und zwar die Olympia Protect 5080 die keine Simkarte besitzt. Was wichtig ist, dass man auf den Router geht und für die Alarmanlage eine separate Telefonnummer nimmt, die nur für die Alarmanlage zuständig ist, dann funktioniert es so wie es soll, ich habe die Alarmanlage hinten an meinen Router angeschlossen. Ich hatte erst alle meine Telefonnummern für eingehende Anrufe aktiviert, dann funktioniert die App nicht. Ich habe drei Telefonnummern, eine habe ich jetzt für Telefon und Fax und eine andere nur für die Alarmanlage. Wichtig ist, dass man im Router, für die benutzte Telefonnummer der Alarmanlage, das Häkchen für eingehende Telefonate deaktiviert. Die Telefonnummer, die ihr für eingehende Telefonate deaktiviert habt, benutzt ihr dann in der App. Ich hoffe, dass ich euch mit diesen Tipp viel Arbeit erspart habe und wünsche euch mit der App viel Spaß.

Die Telefonnummer, die ihr für eingehende Telefonate deaktiviert habt, benutzt ihr dann in der App. Ich hoffe, dass ich euch mit diesen Tipp viel Arbeit erspart habe und wünsche euch mit der App viel Spaß.

Eigentlich eine gute Lösung, wenn man erst einmal das System verstanden hat. Aber...
Warum erscheinen die Daten des Anrufs im Klartext!!! in der Anrufliste? Nun kann u.U. jeder meine Pin sehen.
Der zweite Schwachpunkt ist, dass man es leider nur eingeschränkt bis gar nicht mit dem iPad nutzen kann.
Daher 2 Punkte Abzug, wobei die Pin-Sache bei einer Alarmanlage  eigentlich ein No-Go ist.
