How is there no chromakey function? Why can’t I record a brush stroke? I bought this app when it was released and immediately found no use for it. Years later and that remains the same case. I would rather animate in Procreate and do everything else in a different app.

It took a while, but your team is doing so well and procreate dreams, despite the honestly grating two years, is REALLY coming into its own now. I always love the procreate team and those two years plus all these new updates have been so worth the wait. I love you procreate team, youre the only brand ill ever rep because youre all truly goated and i adore your stance on artists and the apps you build for us to express ourselves. Love yall 🌸🌸

I got this app on lunch day and it’s a lot to take it vs procreate drawing on , as well i try opening it a few days ago and it started glitching out and went let me end . :(  this needs work just as well as the procreate itself dose kind sad something I a lot is being wise to use by the years :( hope you fix both apps

Procreate Dreams is genuinely amazing and is significantly better for animation than Procreate(since this app is made for animation and all). But the only downside that I have with the app is that it has no shape tool/ruler tool or liquify, which are two very important tools when it comes to making slight adjustments to your animation and making straight lines for your background, middle ground, or foreground. I would also love to be able to see how long I’ve spent on a project so I can have a moment to acknowledge that I spent “9000+” hours on a nonfinished project. The overall app in my opinion is great and isn’t laggy at least for me, I just desperately need the shape tool/ruler, I hope to see a shape/ruler tool and/or liquify tool in any next update.

i LOVE procreate but even the basic options on dreams suck. if you try to upload or drag your art directly from procreate it’s hit or miss. 90% of the time it will absolutely destroy your quality or won’t even let you resize, it’s too complex for a base level animation app, and probably will not work for anything other than drawing a bouncing ball

I like the app but one it’s really laggy and when I tried to close it and reopen it still laggy but it’s kind of hard to use like I spent two days trying to figure it out still can’t so maybe try making the interface more simple cause my first impression was that it would be complicated or maybe it’s a skill issue but I like it it’s way smoothed than flipaclip so that’s nice so that’s my thought

This update frees your Flipbook. Pick it up and throw it around your screen. Make it smaller so you can focus on what you're drawing. There are also some handy improvements to your Timeline.

Vertical Flipbook
Move your Flipbook to the left or right to create a vertical timeline. Draw with one hand and flip through drawings with the other. Double tap the drag handle at any time to swap between compact and full-size Flipbook.

Next / previous drawing
There are two new buttons for jumping to the next or previous drawing, even if it's many held frames away. And you can hop straight to the start or end of your Flipbook by holding down.

Scrub lock
When your Flipbook is free, tap on the center of the scrub wheel to lock to the current frame. When you finish scrubbing it will snap back to the locked frame. Great for quickly checking against nearby frames. 

Backstage visibility
When animating you're often scaling content that is larger than the Stage, or moving things onto the Stage. In Movie Settings -> Stage you can now increase the opacity of the content that extends past the Stage, so you can actually see what you're doing.

Multi-select reload
Just like in Drawing Selections, you can now hold the Multi-select button and restore your previous selection on the Timeline.

Quickly see what easings your keyframes are using. The preset name will show up on the keyframe track of your active content.

Automatic Selection
Select areas of similar color by tapping and adjusting the threshold by panning the screen. 

Reverse Keyframes
Create ping pong and other timing effects by flipping the position of your keyframes.

Flipbook track names and highlights
Hold the track title to customize your track with a new name or a pretty color.

Alpha Lock
Tap on your active drawing layer and turn on Alpha Lock to affect only the pixels you have already painted on. Great for adding shading and highlights.

Separate Audio and Video
Import a video with audio and edit them as different tracks.  

Transform Nudge
Move your content in small steps by tapping outside the bounding box in the direction you'd like to shift it.

Compose Snapping
When modifying the position, orientation, and scale of an object independent of keyframes, you can now snap to the edges and center of the stage, or rotate in 15º increments.

Advanced Warp Mesh
When drawing, add a node on every intersection of the warp mesh for more precise control. 

Additive and Multi-channel Noise  
In Drawing Filters create noise with color and across the entire paintable area.
