prodrafts
The app is good to take notes, but i zoomed out and now i can’t find my notes. i spend hours and hours taking them and now they are gone.
An artist's honest review
As an artist, I use Prodrafts for sketching out my ideas and practicing. The pen feel is my favorite part since it uses Apple's PencilKit, it feels just like Apple Notes, which is perfect with the Apple Pencil. The infinite canvas is great too; I never run out of space.
Most of the tools are genuinely useful. I also use the timer for gesture drawing sessions, which is super handy though I doubt that was the intended use when you added it. Honestly, sometimes I feel like this app wasn't designed with artists in mind, but it still works perfectly for me.
A few things would make it even better:
· Canvas rotation, like pro drawing apps have
· Layers — a big missing piece for sketching
· More notebook customization
· Paper backgrounds — some aren't seamless when you zoom out
Overall, I really love it for quick sketching and would recommend it to other artists. Hope these get added in future updates. Thanks to the dev team. 🙏
